this is great condition very rare, Factory Turbo Diesel, 2.3 engine with a 5 speed manual transmission in a 1986 Ford Ranger Pick Up
, this truck gets over 35 to 40 mpg, the truck has lots of life left - the body is solid, has no rust, the undercarriage is solid, -the engine starts up every time-no issues -the interior is in good condition except for small cracks on dash -the exhaust is fairly new -the rear springs are heavy duty -the tires are in good condition -all glass is good -the front brakes are new-new calipers, rotors, brake pads, and master cylinder -recent paint job -the diesel engine starts up and runs fine -the clutch is in good condition, and the 5 speed transmission works as it should -the 4x4 works just fine -this is a daily driver, currently licensed and insured the truck is currently in Surrey, BC, Canada, It can be picked up here, put a temporary tag on it and drive away. I can also have it transported for a cost, a very reasonable cost, please let me know where, and I will get a quote. There are no problems getting this ranger across the border. Ford is recalling more Takata airbag-equipped Ford and Lincoln models
Thu, Mar 2 2017The Basics: Takata, the beleaguered airbag supplier at the root of the largest recall in automotive history, has informed Ford of a problem with the airbags in just over 30,000 Ford and Lincoln models. The problem is not related to the non-desiccated ammonium nitrate airbag inflators that plague the other airbags ( including many Fords), meaning there isn't a risk of shrapnel flying out from the units in this particular recall. The Problem: In the event of an accident, the front airbags may only partially inflate, and the airbag may become detached from the module because of misaligned parts. The problem affects 2016 and 2017 Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX models built at the Oakville Assembly Plant. The issue also affects 2017 Lincoln Continentals that were built at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant. Injuries/Deaths: In a release, Ford stated that it is not aware of any accidents, injuries, or deaths related to the airbag issue. The Fix: Dealers will replace the driver-side front airbag module at no cost. If You Own One: Sit tight and wait for Ford to notify owners.
