Hello, I'm Dickie. I've been in business for over thirty eight years and on ebay motors over ten years. This truck was bought in March of 2000 with 21,984 miles on it. it has 95,699 on it now. The first thing I look at when I buy a vehicle is the under side, to make sure there is no rust. This one is very clean. It has a very dependable power train, 3.0 V6 with the overdrive automatic. ( my wife has a 1996 Ranger with the same engine and transmission with 214,000 miles on it and still going strong.) This truck has no issues. It runs and drives excellent. Nothing to do but drive it home and enjoy it. By the way, I only sell cars and trucks on this site, so you don't have to search my feedback for someone who bought a vehicle from me. Every feedback from a buyer is for a car or truck like this one. No exceptions. My wife and I buy our vehicles one at a time and drive them ourselves until they are sold. We can notice anything that needs to be done that way. Last week someone flew into the airport and drove a 1999 Ranger home to North Carolina with no problems. We had already put over 100 miles on it before he arrived, so we knew it would be safe for his long trip. This truck not only runs great but is a lot of fun to drive! Nice trucks in this price range are hard to find. I don't think you will find one rust free and nice running like this anywhere. It has a current Massachusetts emissions and safety sticker. Please call me ( Dickie ) if you would like more information like: offers, transportation payment etc. my number is: 508 994-9206. Take care, Dickie.

Ford dinged by OSHA for asbestos at Buffalo plant
Sat, 20 Jul 2013Ford has come under fire from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for violations regarding asbestos exposure in a company metal stamping plant in Buffalo, NY. OSHA has cited Ford for eight violations in total, according to an Automotive News report, and faces fines of up to $41,800. 537 workers are employed at the stamping facility.
The violations include a pipefitter at the facility being exposed to asbestos-containing material while working on a steam line, other workers exposed to the material without respiratory protection and work areas that were not designed to limited the number of workers in contact with asbestos. Further, areas in which asbestos was present were not properly restricted, and levels of asbestos in the air were not monitored.
According to an unnamed Ford spokesperson in the AN report, the company feels that the OSHA citation is erroneous saying, "We have fully cooperated with the local OSHA officials and we don't believe the citations are warranted." Ford also maintains that it will work with the authorities to resolve the issue.
How and why Ford is rolling out Vignale in Europe
Wed, 09 Oct 2013
We know that Ford is positioning the new, upscale Vignale brand in Europe to fill a niche market of customers who want a bit more luxury, a lot more service and the same reliability and dependability that a non-Vignale Ford offers. But so far, we've been in the dark regarding how the Blue Oval will sell Vignale vehicles, how many of them will be created, and what the new sub-brand has in store for the future.
Gaetano Thorel, Ford's European marketing head, recently was interviewed by Automotive News and shared details about Ford Vignale. Thorel says, "The Vignale trim line will be priced like an ST model but attract a completely different type of customer." Specifically, he says it will attract customers in the upper 15 percent of the price band who don't want a performance-oriented ST model. He adds that Vignale cars will be about 10 percent more expensive than Titanium-trim cars. About 500 of Ford's European dealers will sell Vignale Fords, Thorel says, "in areas that make sense." The automaker expects 10 percent of its European sales to be Vignale cars, which equates to about 5 percent of its global sales. When asked if there are any other Vignale models planned beyond the Mondeo, Thorel said, "There is nothing written in stone yet."
Watch how Ken Block spent his weekend in Barbados
Thu, 22 May 2014Regardless of what you think of his skill as a racer, Ken Block is an expert showman. At this point, he has a career of showing up around the world to do vehicular stunts, and he's still able to go racing as well. It's a pretty sweet niche to carve out. Recently, Block was in Barbados to participate in Top Gear Live and the first event of the Global Rallycross Championship season, and Ford Racing produced a short video to show off his exploits.
It looked like a great show. Block got to race Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes-Benz Formula One car and had a very weird crash during a Rallycross race that put his Ford Fiesta on its roof. Top Gear also released an extended look at Block and Hamilton's spectacle with the two of them expertly sliding around. Scroll down to watch the videos and get a taste of Block's tropical racing adventure.
