Here is a rare find! A 2005 Ford Ranger Edge Supercab with only 13k original miles! This Ranger
is a 1-owner truck owned by an older gentleman here in SW Florida and traded in at our Chevy dealer, NO auctions! It
has a clean Autocheck report showing no accidents or problems and received a great score of 92 points out of an
average rating of between 71-86 points so you know it has a great history as well. It is clean as can be inside and
out and drives nice and tight. It recently received a new paint job due to fading and looks wonderful so there are no
stone chips or bug stains and is the orginal color. The tries are near new to help give it a smooth and quiet ride
and there are side chrome running boards and a bedliner. The interior too looks wonderful and pretty much new. The
seats are comfortable and it has the two side rear seats that fold down. It has rear opening doors on both sides. All
the power options work great including the ice cold air conditioning and CD stereo. The peppy 4.0 V-6 runs smooth as
new and should with only 13k miles and the brakes and transmission are smooth as well with no issues. It really is a
beautiful truck and fun to drive and with only 13k original miles it should last for countless more years. It's got
the mileage of a 2013 model so why pay near 30k for a new one! I have great feedback so you can be sure that this
vehicle will be just as nice as I am stating. Should you need help with shipping call me, if you decide to fly into
Ft.Myers to pick it up in person I will meet you at our local airport right here in town. I know buying a vehicle you
haven't driven is a little scary so I try to make it easy as well as fun!! As with all my vehicles, this one was
put through a safety check to be sure it is safe and road worthy. This includes an oil change and an inspection of
the brakes, belts, hoses, tires, fluid levels, etc. It's just one more thing I can do to make this a good experience
for you. I encourge you to call with any questions @ 239-872-5281. Thanks! ![]()

Ford is recalling about 70,209 examples of the 2005-2008 Ford Escape Hybrid and the 2006-2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid because the cooling pumps for their hybrid systems could fail.
According to the company's defect notice, it's possible for the original "Motor Electronics Coolant (MEC) Pump" to wear out and fail, which would could cause the hybrid system to overheat. If this happens, the vehicle goes into a safety mode that takes away most or all of its power. However, braking and steering still operate normally. After cooling down, the affected models restart normally. The company says that it's not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this problem.
Ford will begin repairing the vehicles in late October, and dealers will be installing improved, brushless pumps on the affected models at no charge to owners. If drivers had their pumps fail before this recall, they can contact Ford for a possible reimbursement. Scroll down to read the recall announcement from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or download the full defect notice as a PDF, here.

If you're in the market for a sports car with celebrity provenance or just an incredibly well-preserved high-performance machine, then you'll want to check out Gooding & Company's Amelia Island auction in Florida on March 11. The highlight of the sale is likely 18 cars, mostly Porsches, from Jerry Seinfeld's collection, but there's more to see than just the comedian's sporting metal. While several of Seinfeld's cars carry auction estimates in the millions, they aren't the most valuable at the sale. That honor falls on a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider, which could sell for between $15 million and $17 million. This one is among the 37 examples with covered headlights, and it has some theatrical provenance after appearing in the Sophia Loren film Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow. If your tastes skew more American, then one of 31 Ford GT40 MKI road cars is also among the lots. Gooding expects the rare coupe to sell for between $3.2 million and $3.6 million. Ford originally used this GT40 for dealer promotions, but it eventually fell into private hands. Even today, its multiple owners have only covered around 3,200 miles in it. Gooding also expects a 1931 Duesenberg Model J Disappearing-Top Convertible Coupe with a body by Murphy to bring $2.5 million to $3 million. The auction house claims this might be the "most original" example left because of a history of owners who kept it for long periods – and the vehicle never needed a complete restoration. Some lots carry more attainable estimates like $35,000 for a 1962 MGA. You can check out all the listings on Gooding's online catalog and some of the highlights in the gallery above. You've probably read the news about Seinfeld's Porsches, but here's a refresher: The collection includes amazing cars like a 550 Spyder, 917/30 Can-Am Spyder, and a 718 RSK. Related Video:

Ford's board is open to CEO Alan Mulally stepping down before his planned departure in 2014, inside sources are telling Reuters. Ford's plan of succession, aside from who would be his actual successor, has been something approaching common knowledge - the 68-year-old former Boeing exec had plans to stay through 2014. This was recently confirmed by Mulally himself on Bloomberg Television and in Automotive News.
Motivation for the about-face comes from what Reuters calls a "growing confidence" in the current crop of Ford execs, led by Mark Fields. Fields, Ford's current chief operating officer, has been tipped as Mulally's ultimate successor, although he's far from the only person with eyes on Ford's top job. Normally, Ford's board saying they're open to an executive, that's done very well for the company, stepping down early would be nearly unremarkable. It's the timing of this announcement, though, that makes this a big piece of news.
Recently, Mulally has been the subject of rumors that he's interested in taking the CEO position at tech giant Microsoft. The Redmond, Washington-based company's CEO, Steve Ballmer, told the media in August that he'd be retiring in a year's time. The fires were stoked when tech website AllThingsD speculated that Mulally would take the top spot, despite denials from the man himself. Could Ford's current boss become the new top dog at Microsoft? Will Mark Fields replace him? Could recently departed Renault exec Carlos Tavares land at Ford in some capacity? Let us know what you think below in Comments.
