Selling my former work truck, but now use a car for work. All my miles are road miles as I never had it off road more than farm lanes, as I am a milk inspector. Bought with 81,000 miles in 2008 locally ,now has 162k, and has never left me sitting once. Very reliable. No engine- oil leaks, does not burn oil, tranny works good (added some Lucas conditioner 2-3 years ago) everything in cab works, including cold air conditioning. ABS light has been on for several years, but brakes work great. New front rotors and pads installed a year ago (3k miles) new ball joint and control arm installed last week to pass inspection(8/14). Oil was always changed at 5k or less(as Mobil recommended), using Mobil High Mileage 5w-30. Tires-front have 3k miles since new, and back tires have 5-6 k on since new. Also, installed manual hubs 2 years ago when 4X4 axle vacuum initiator went bad. Now you have to turn hubs in and turn button on in cab to access 4X4. Interior is clean, non-smoking, no pets, no tears in seats or dash. One spring is broken on drivers side seat, on back section-hardly noticable. There is some rust on lower tailgate bottom edge, which is seen when tailgate is down (see pic). Also a little rust on drivers door skin, inside edge, but not bad enough to go through body anywhere. Has not seen much salt here in Lancaster. Has factory bedliner, and older fiberglass top, but still functional and no broken or cracked glass.
PLEASE email any questions. If local, you can come test drive it first, as it is still tagged.
Only accept bids if you have Positive ratings. Deposit of 200.00 via Paypal within 24 hours to hold truck. Please pick up within 5 days after purchase.
Clean title in hand, see auto check for ratings. Located near Bird-In-Hand, central Lancaster Pa. I will respond to all emails as fast as possible. Thanks.

Ford Green Zone works magic with GPS to make your drive smarter, cleaner
Fri, Aug 29 2014For the most part, plug-in hybrids rely on the power stored in the battery until that charge is depleted. Unless the switch can be changed manually, it's only then that the cars fire up the internal combustion engine and begin using the fossil fuels on board. This is ideal, of course, when one's drive isn't long enough that the car needs to start sipping gasoline at all. On longer commutes, when it's certain that the route is longer than the car's all-electric range, this isn't necessarily the most efficient use of energy. Ford's Green Zone system is designed to save some of that juice for the parts of the drive that require slower speeds. Ford is working on a smart system, based on Nokia mapping technology, that uses GPS data to use both the electricity and conventional fuel more efficiently. Since battery power is less efficient at highway speeds, Ford's Green Zone system is designed to save some of that juice for the parts of the drive that require slower speeds, rather than just using up all the electrons right at the beginning of the drive. Using a website or the in-car navigation system, the driver can pinpoint the parts of the route, highlighted in green, where using battery power would be more effective, and set the car to automatically switch to electricity for those sections. Depending on the route, the car could automatically switch back and forth between the two power sources multiple times, particularly if the drive is a mix between city and highway driving. Of course, Green Zone will be go beyond that. The program is being developed to take traffic and road grade into account, details that allow the car to be make even smarter choices to improve efficiency. Ford even hopes to have Green Zone learn driver habits, and respond accordingly depending on who is driving the car. The system could control other features as well, such as anticipating corners and shifting the headlights to better illuminate the road ahead. Green Zone could also potentially use information from vehicle-to-vehicle networking to control functions in the car. The Green Zone system still has a few years before it will be ready to be put into production vehicles, but Ford is confident it will make its way onto the road eventually. As with other innovations that improve efficiency and make our vehicles smarter, we can expect to see similar technology from other manufacturers, until it becomes a regular part of driving in the future.
Ford F-150 bumps Camry from top of Cars.com American Made Index
Tue, 25 Jun 2013With July 4th just around the corner, what better time could there be for Cars.com to announce that the Ford F-150 is the Most American car of 2013? This may be especially true since it was the Toyota Camry, a car produced by a company based in Japan, that had held the top spot from 2009 to 2012.
Cars.com compiles its Most American list by considering the amount of parts each vehicle uses that come from America, where it's final assembly takes place and how many units per year are sold. "While the assembly point and domestic parts content of the F-150 didn't change from 2012-2013, vehicle sales are responsible for bumping the F-150 to the top spot," according to Patrick Olsen, Editor-in-Chief of Cars.com.
As far as automakers go (as opposed to individual models), Toyota retains the top spot it held in 2012, with General Motors, Chrysler, Ford and Honda (in that order) rounding out the list. The motivation behind this list each year, according to Olsen, is "to help car shoppers understand that 'American-Made' extends beyond just the Detroit three" and because "a study we conducted in 2012 indicated that 25 percent of shoppers surveyed preferred to buy American."
Ford doubling 1.0L EcoBoost engine production
Fri, 06 Sep 2013Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine hasn't been around that long, but it sounds like the engine is getting to be fairly popular in the automaker's global car lineup. The Detroit News is reporting that Ford has add a second shift that will allow its German engine plant to double daily output from 500 engines to 1,000.
The increased capacity is part of a plan to sell more than 300,000 vehicles a year with this engine in Europe by 2015. Europe is currently the only market where the smallest of the EcoBoost engines is offered (including in the Focus pictured above), but US-spec Fiesta models will be getting this mill for 2014.
Three-cylinder engines are expected to continue to grow in popularity in coming years with the report indicating that global production of these engines will double by 2018 to 9.8 million units. General Motors, BMW and Mitsubishi are all expected to introduce three-cylinder engines in the near term, as well.
