This is my 99 ranger 4x4. It has a 2005 kubota v2203 2.2l turbo diesel. I have put almost 20,000 miles on the truck since the swap and it has been great. I have consistently got 39 mpg on the hwy and have gotten 42 mpg once. I usually average 37 commuting and haven't gotten worse than 35mpg. The truck is fun to drive and and turns alot of heads. Tires are in great shape and the brakes are new. It runs and drives just like it came from the factory this way. All factory gauges work including the tach. It will hit 32 lbs of boost and is capable of more. Smoke is very minimal with the way I have it set up. The injection pump is capable of far more I just wanted it to give the best mpg while still being fun to drive. I'm selling because we are having another baby and I need to build a crew cab for us.

New performance clutch
New 3 inch exhaust from the turbo back

New / rebuilt vw kkk k03 turbo
New volvo s80 intercooler
Had on the dyno had produced 98 rwhp and 278 ft lbs
That's est at 120hp and 330ft lbs!!!

Many other new parts I'm probably forgetting. I've driven to Idaho a few times Oregon several times and to b.c. A few. It has been register by the wa state patrol and the DMV as a legitimate diesel conversion and the title and registration reflect that. No more emmisions. Please call or txt mat 425 512 6446. Thanks

Ford recalling nearly 700k Escape CUVs, C-Max hybrids over two separate safety issues

Fri, 09 May 2014

Poor Escape. Ever since its launch in 2012, Ford's small CUV has been the subject of many, many, many recalls. And today, The Detroit News is reporting that Ford is adding two more recalls to the 2013-14 model year Escape's permanent record, one of them also involves the C-Max hybrid hatchback.
The first recall, covering 692,500 Escape and C-Max vehicles, is due to a software glitch that could cause the airbags - specifically, the safety canopy - to not deploy in a timely fashion during rollover crashes. According to the News, Ford says no crashes or injuries have been reported in relation to this problem.
The second recall, covering 692,700 Escapes, is related to the door handles. The News reports that the exterior door handles could open while the vehicle is in motion, and could also fail to latch properly. Once again, no crashes or injuries have occurred because of this. The National Highway Safety Traffic Administration has not issued an official notice on either recall as of this writing.

Jay Leno and Lee Iacocca reflect on 50 years of Ford Mustang

Mon, 30 Dec 2013

Lee Iacocca oversaw the birth of the Ford Mustang back in the 1960s, rocketing the new pony car nameplate into million-unit sales territory in its initial go-round and cementing its place in the history books. Thus, we were immediately drawn to this latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage, in which the funnyman hosts Iacocca for a look at the origins of Ford's most iconic sports car. The legendary auto exec is looking notably more frail than when we last saw him, but if we're being asked around as a video guest when we're 89 years old, we'll consider that evidence of a life well lived.
Serial No. 0001 is on hand for the occasion for Jay's romp through history, as is the historic Mustang 1 showcar from 1962. Of course, the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang GT (in prototype form) makes an appearance at the end of the episode with chief engineer Dave Pericak, as well. Get some, below.
