1983 Ford Ranger Base Standard Cab Pickup 2-door 2.8l on 2040-cars
Spotsylvania, Virginia, United States
This is an absolute beautiful 1983 Ford Ranger with a built 302 bored .30 over to make it a 306. Edelbrock intake manifold, edelbrock 750 double feed carburetor, true dual exhaust with flowmasters, c4 automatic transmission and 4.10 gears in the rear. This truck does not have any rust at all or any signs of any coming through. The paint job is beautiful and is more of a copper color. The pictures look red and when the sun shines on the truck it looks red but as the sun goes down you can really see the copper color coming out. The paint job is a few years old so its not perfect, has a few little chips but nothing serious. Has a real 2" cowl hood and roll pan. The interior was completely redone last year. The motor has less than 30k miles and the truck has a little over 100k miles on original body. I am asking $5500 OBO. Located in Lake Anna, VA, north of richmond and south of Fredericksburg.

2015 Ford Mustang renders reveal look of the real thing
Tue, 15 Oct 2013This is, according to the pony-car obsessed kids over at Mustang6G.com, the closest, most accurate rendering of the new, 2015 Ford Mustang to date. Artis Chazcron used a combination of Ford CAD images and information from assorted spy shots to assemble a fairly handsome car, albeit one that conforms to the tired cliché of being more evolutionary than revolutionary.
Now, it's very important to note that these are still speculative renders, and that they only represent the base car - that could explain the lack of the Mustang's vestigial side scoops, along with other, newer styling cues that Mustang6G seems to think will arrive on production models. Those items include a new, double-bubble roof, although the Mustang aficionados claim that even if it were present, it'd barely be visible from these angles.
The front end is pretty spot on, compared to what we've seen from earlier spy shots, while the tail, with its interesting light design is something new. The louvered taillights look quite different from the current version, obviously, though Mustang has gone the whimsical route with taillights before. Also, note the new rear diffuser uses an integrated reverse light and rear foglight, the latter of which is required for sale in Europe.
Amid Mulally rumors, Bill Ford praises company's deep bench
Wed, 02 Oct 2013Bill Ford went on the offensive to combat the rumors that CEO Alan Mulally would leave Dearborn for Steve Ballmer's vacated position leading Microsoft, adding that even if the 68-year-old, former Boeing exec were to depart, the Ford executive team is in a good place.
"I'm happy [Mulally] is going to stick around. But we also feel really good about where we are in terms of succession," Ford told Bloomberg TV, according to Automotive News. Rumors first cropped up about Mulally leaving Ford when AllThingsD speculated that he was in the running, early last month. In that same report, which you can read here, Ford's board of directors reportedly okayed the CEO stepping down ahead of his planned retirement in 2014.
That opened the floodgates, culminating in a report from a few days ago that the rumors over Ballmer's successor just might be true. The story is especially troubling, as Ford hasn't had Mulally under contract, according to AN. "He's here as long as he and I would like it to happen," Ford said, "We're also cognizant of training the next generation and getting them ready to go as well."
