I have up for auction a 1961 Ford Falcon Ranchero. I have had this for 2 years now. When I got it the original owner had it in a garage for 7 years. It has a 289 that runs and sounds GREAT!! Its a 4 speed manual. on the floor I think its a top loader. The spedo is not hooked up I tried to have it hooked up once and reason it has a chevy tranny. I have been using my phone since I got it running. The original owner said it had 5000 miles on the engine and I have put 1098 miles on it. That is what my phone says. I have drove it down to Phoenix, Laughlen, and as a daily driver in the summer and spring. I have had the heater fixed and a new heater core put it. The gas tank cleaned professionally, new front struts and all the carb has been rebuilt. The interior needs work. The seat needs re done, maybe some new weather striping, and some other small things. It had NOS hooked up it was never used I took the bottle out. It had a bed cover when I got it but that was kinda old and took it off and put some black bed liner in it the spray on kind. No rust for what I can see I have not really gotten in to the body to check but I have looked it all over and can not find any. It has been in a garage and have a car cover for it. Its a very good car I am just wanting to do other stuff now and do not drive the car as much as I would like to. Any questions and I know I have forgot some things just ask. I'm Autoblog senior editor Greg Migliore and this is your Autoblog Minute weekly recap. 2011 was the last time we saw Ford's midsize pickup in the US but according to a report from the Detroit News we could see production of the Ranger at the [00:00:30] Dearborn automaker's Michigan Assembly Plant as early as 2018. Ranger could compete with the Chevy Colorado and perhaps revive the compact and midsize pickup market for Ford, but the future of Ranger in the US depends a lot on Ford's ongoing negotiations with the UAW. About 2,000 orders for the 2015 Mustang were placed in the UK, tying up production of the pony car until July 2016. According to details in a press release from Ford UK, [00:01:00] it looks like Brits are a lot like their American cousins, opting for the 5.0 liter V8, with Race Red as the popular color of choice. Photos of the 2016 Toyota Prius leaked generating a lot of buzz over the styling. This fourth generation Prius will have some new competition as spy shots of a new Hyundai also surfaced this week. A tribute to William Clay Ford

The passing of William Clay Ford has been a big event for the company he spent most of his life helping run. Ford spent 57 years working for his family's company. Considering the Blue Oval has been around for over 100 years, WCF's passing is the end of an era for the Dearborn-based manufacturer.
Ford's YouTube channel has issued a short memorial video highlighting the life of the longest-lived grandson of company founder Henry Ford. It follows William Clay from his time as a boy, showing him alongside his grandfather, through his younger years, and into his twilight, as the patriarch of the Ford family.
