This is a Ford probe GT V-6 with DOHC. Five speed, gets 22 to 25 mpg depending on your foot. This car is a real treat to drive, has the power and stability to handle city, country or interstate driving. Has a working sunroof so you can really enjoy the drive. Has a brand new A/C system, new tires, and the brakes are in excellent condition. The transmission just had the clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing replaced as well. The 4 brand new tires are P225-55/R16, so it hugs the road fantastically. It also had the water pump, tensioner and timing chain replaced. Than to top it all off has a new battery. Had to replace one of the CV axles as well. So as you can see I have tried to keep this jewel in excellent running and working condition. You might ask why am I selling it, well getting old, and need back surgery, and have to sell some of my toys to pay for it. I take care of my toys, and refuse to sell a car not worthy of being on the road. The price on this care is non negotiable, even though I need the surgery, will only sell it if price is met. 3dCarbon now offering body kit for Ford Fusion
Tue, 01 Oct 2013A factory-backed body kit by 3dCarbon is now available to Ford Fusion owners who want their car to stand out from the crowd while not being too flashy. The body kit adds a more aggressive front spoiler, side skirts, rear body trim and spoiler that are, in fact, integrated quite nicely into the Fusion's already-comely styling, just as 3dCarbon claims. All Fusions with the kit also receive dual exhaust ports with the stainless-steel exhaust surrounds usually reserved for the Titanium package Fusion EcoBoost models.
A nice detail of 3dCarbon's injection-molded urethane body kit is that it has undergone crash testing to certify that it can withstand crashes up to five miles per hour. Because of this, the kit is warrantied by 3dCarbon for five years or 50,000 miles, much like Ford's warranty on its own parts. In fact, the kit is available through participating Ford dealers and can be financed through Ford Motor Credit. Buyers can purchase the kit - pre-painted or unpainted - and install it themselves, or it can be purchased with a new Ford Fusion and installed at the dealer, pre-painted to factory specifications. There are many things I could call this exercise. A party is not one of them.
I've spent three days crammed in the axle well of this 1989 Mustang with nothing to keep me company beyond a trouble light, a DeWalt drill on the very last of its legs and billion razor sharp, red hot slivers of metal with an affinity for my most sensitive of regions. My joints are raw from crawling around on the concrete. I'm half deaf from the shriek of the spot weld cutter and the boom of the cold chisel and hammer.
