Ford F650 Crew Cab, Cummins 5.9 H.O 24 valve diesel(#56 block) Allison Manual 6speed power windows, power locks, cruise control 404,000 easy miles, Runs and drives great! Motor is strong no blow by or even 1 drip of oil after sitting in garage all winter. Transmission shifts good no grinds, Truck has been well serviced and well taken care of all its life.Truck is a non-air brake truck and you do not need a CDL to drive or own it.

Truck started life as a box truck and was converted last summer into the pickup you see now. Frame was professionally shortened and Drive shafts cut and re-balanced with all new hardware and
u-joints. Bed has a fabricated frame, front and rear bumpers were fabricated and made out of steel and painted a fine textured black for a durable finish. I installed a Brand new 04+ Chrome grill that I bought from Ford dealership and had installed.

10" chrome stacks from Pyro (sound awesome! not too loud but load enough to get peoples attention), brand new vp44 injection pump, brand new cummins lift pump, never chipped never upgraded.

But could easily be using the same motor as the 2002 Dodge Ram 24 valve H.O,
Oil and filter just changed this spring, newer disc brakes all the way around, new 22.5' wheel liners installed on all four rims, tires look like re treads and are in good shape with lots of tread still left. Truck has been sprayed with tinted gray bedliner along bottom of truck for a little diff look and for added protection. Also bedliner and side steps were also sprayed, in bedliner black. Interior is in great shape, front driver air ride seat has small cigarette hole in back, but other than that the other seats are about perfect. Floor is vinyl and looks really good no big tears or rips.Outside of truck paint is a 7 out of 10, given that it has 1 small dent in bed on driver side near rail barely visible and a few little nicks and scratches here in there around truck. The only things really left to do on truck is possibly a different softer spring setup in rear, it drives fine down highway or smooth roads but is a little rough over big bumps. This Truck is Big and Bad and a blast to drive! Always gets a lot of attention and thumbs up!! Ill be happy to answer any more questions over phone or e-mail.
Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!

Production Ford Escort heading for Beijing

Wed, 16 Apr 2014

Ford's long-dormant Escort nameplate returned affixed to a sedan concept at last year's Shanghai Motor Show. While not exactly a beauty, it showed a clean, straightforward take on Ford's current styling. The Blue Oval said at the time that it wanted to create a model that was stylish "but not one that is arrogant or pretentious." Job done. A year later, it looks like the minimalist vehicle might make its production debut at the Beijing Motor Show.
Autocar claims that the streetgoing version has been confirmed to it for the upcoming show, but so far, Ford isn't saying. If unveiled, the Escort is likely to be produced locally for the Chinese market with a domestic partner. Powertrain details remain a secret, but it seems highly likely that any production model would use a small three- or four-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive. Sales in other major world markets like ours are unlikely, but a test car was recently spotted in Europe.
Autoblog contacted Ford for confirmation, but the automaker demurred, with a spokesperson saying only, "At the moment, we are not confirming any vehicles planned for the show." It looks like we will have to wait to know for sure.

2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty Power Stroke

Tue, 29 Jul 2014

What weighs 30,000 pounds? Big Ben's Westminster bell. A navy ship anchor. Or as we found out during our first drive program for the 2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty, seven pallets of cinder blocks loaded onto a dual-axle gooseneck trailer. The test was part of a raft of towing demonstrations that showcased the new Super Duty's impressive tug capacity, which maxes out at 32,100 pounds. That's 1,200 more than its nearest rival, the Ram 3500, when equipped with its upgraded 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel V8. Such is the heavy-duty pickup truck business, a diesel-fueled game of one-upmanship with only three players: Ford, Chevrolet/GMC and Ram. And in this game, the one with the most torque wins.
Until 2014, Ford was the one to beat, with its 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel bringing 400 hp and a massive 800 lb-ft of torque to the table. Then last year, Ram did exactly that, serving Ford with a beefed-up Cummins turbodiesel inline-six in its freshened Ram Heavy Duty truck line with 385 hp and 850 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to tow up to 30,000 pounds. But Ford claims it had designed its engine to be relatively easy to upgrade when the time called for it, so for 2015, Ford bolted a larger turbo to the Power Stroke, bringing output to an insane 440 hp and 860 lb-ft of twist, all without reducing fuel efficiency. Maximum tow capacity rises from 24,700 lbs to an incredible 31,200 lbs for the F-450 dually.
As for GM's HDs? They lag behind the lot with their 6.6-liter Duramax V-8, producing 397 hp and 765 lb-ft of torque. Yeah, you know things are serious when the trucks with 765 lb-ft are the knock-kneed wimps of the lot.

Ford cranks up '32 Ford body production

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

If you're going to build your own hot rod, you'll want to start with a '32 Ford 5-Window Coupe. Favored by American servicemen returning from World War II, the '32 Ford remains the very icon of the hot rod to this day. The trouble is there were only so many of them made in the first place, and finding one today can be a challenge. That's where reproduction models come in.
The aftermarket is replete with companies that will sell you a fiberglass body in the form of a '32 Ford coupe, but quality can be hit or miss. So to help meet demand among hot rod builders and enthusiasts, Ford has teamed up with United Pacific Industries to offer officially licensed body shells.
Announced at the SEMA show in November, the '32 Ford 5-Window Coupe body is made from stamped steel according to original specifications from original machinery where possible or reproduced machinery built to the same original specifications where necessary. The bodies are ready to accept vintage powertrains or crate motors from the Ford Racing catalog, and join the 9,000 other parts offered in the Ford Component Sales catalog - including similar reproduction bodies available for the 1965-70 Mustang and 1940 Ford Coupe. From there, the proverbial sky's the limit.
