1980 Ford Courier. 3 owner truck with 48k original miles. Miss Roberta from Girdletree Md. bought it new and sold it to Mike in 2011. I bought it from Mike last September. This truck has always been garaged until I bought it and never driven in snow. 2.3 Pinto motor, A/C, auto trans. Soft ride package and rear step bumper were the options. There is a sparkomatic radio and speakers installed. A/C unit is an ARA package and blows cold. Truck runs and drives great. Seems to run better every time I drive it.. A little slow off the line but really moves quite well once it gets rolling. Plenty of pep and passing power @ 55 mph. Everything works except one license plate bulb. When I bought it I did a complete tune up, oil & filter, and new shocks all around. Interior of the truck is like new. No rips, see photos. Mike painted the truck and did a fair job. There was no rust on it but they could have done a better job. Several runs and some orange peel. There is a small dent in right front fender and a little ding in passenger door. If I was going to keep it I would sand and spray the hood due to poor prep work. Check out the pictures of the interior and engine bay, very clean and original. Truck will come with 4 matching whitewall tires that have at least 75% tread. I am
selling it due to the purchase of an investment property and some toys must go. Willing to deliver it within 300 miles from my house for a fee of $200. Otherwise I can help with getting it transported but that expense is the buyers responsibility. |

Mulally will stay close to Ford after he steps down, plans to advise Fields [w/video]
Fri, 27 Jun 2014Ford CEO Alan Mulally has less than a week left in his role of leading the Blue Oval before he hands off duties to Mark Fields on July 1. It doesn't look like Mulally is going to be shuffling off into his retirement anytime soon, though. The 68-year-old is being rather secretive about his next move, but he tells Bloomberg in a recent interview that he plans to stay close to Ford. Also, if Fields wants to ask for any advice, Mulally is happy to help.
Mulally took over at Ford in 2006 and led the company through a seriously rough patch in the auto industry. According to Bloomberg, he became famous or his Thursday meetings where executives were forced to deal with any problems before they could leave. Since announcing his retirement from Ford in May, Mulally has been insuring a smooth transition of power by traveling the world to all of company's major locations and saying goodbye to employees and dealers.
In terms of the future at Ford, Mulally doesn't predict any big changes in management style because the rest of the executive team is staying in place. He believes that Fields is going to maintain the processes already in place to keep things going. After all, it seems to be working. The company is predicting a return to profitability in Europe next year and is opening 88 new dealers in China. If the business could get its recalls under control, things could get even better.
Watch NASCAR racer Brad Keselowski do a burnout... in a hotel conference room
Fri, 08 Mar 2013A vast majority of hotels frown upon smoking inside the building these days, but Brad Keselowski doesn't follow the rules. During his introduction at the 2013 MiilerCoors Distribution Convention, the reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup champion smoked the tires of his Miller-sponsored Ford Fusion stock car, adding a pair of thick, black stripes to the carpeting of the Marriott World Center's conference room.
This definitely isn't a high-quality video, but it's the perfect vantage point to watch Keselowski lay down some rubber and receive a well-deserved standing ovation after pulling up in front of the crowd. Check out the short-but-sweet video posted below.
