1953 Ford F-100 Pickup

This 50th aniversary ford truck was bought new by the railroad, and painted there company colors which was yellow, but red is the original color. It was then used on a farm in Salem Oregon. This truck was originally a Marmon Herrington 4 wheel drive, but was changed back to a 2 wheel drive at some point. I have the 4 wheel drive running gear, hood emblems, dash plates, and ID tags which is not part of the auction, but I would sell it to the person that buys the truck if they are interested in it. I have the truck running on a gas can under the hood for now, and the brakes are not working because I was going to restore it. The engine runs good, but I do get some smoke at high rpm, not sure if it is gas or oil. The cab is amasingly solid, but has a minor place in the right front cab post, and another minor place on the hood (see photos), and the door are solid as are the fenders, and doors open, and close as they should. The bed has been modified for a rack of some sort that is long gone, and the bed wood is mostly gone. I bought the truck in 2011, and I have a open Oregon title that you can take to the tag office to get a new title if you live in a title state as Georgia didn't have titles until the mid 60's, and they want give me a title for it. 2014 Ford Cobra Jet announced with new colors, parachute mount

Ford's drag-strip-ready Mustang Cobra Jet is back for 2014, and it's sporting a few changes to make it even better - both in competition and while sitting still. Rolling off the assembly line ready for duty in the NHRA Stock or Super Stock classes, production of the 2014 Cobra Jet is limited to just 50 units.
Racing upgrades for 2014 include the addition of a new three-speed transmission and a parachute mount, and while these will make the car better in the quarter mile, the Cobra Jet's new colors will make it look better tearing down the track. Buyers can now get their racecars painted up in Gotta Have-It Green or a custom, Cobra Jet-exclusive matte black hue. Ford and Ford Racing have already teamed up to make this an incredible factory drag racer with a full rollcage, massive Hoosier slicks, a race-tuned suspension setup and a supercharged 5.0-liter V8. Now, if only wheelie bars came standard...
Unlike the confusing third-party ordering system announced for the COPO Camaro, all you need to snatch up a 2014 Cobra Jet is $97,990 and good timing (as the cars will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis). Ford leads top searched-for car brands on Google in 2014

With less than two weeks until 2014 takes its final bow, anyone and everyone is looking back on the past 50 or so weeks to see how they stacked up. For search giant Google, that means its time to check out its annual Trends report. Besides the most popular search term (the late, great Robin Williams), the most searched for gadget (the iPhone 6) and most searched for disease symptoms (quite worryingly, Ebola took the crown here), we have the most searched for automaker. With the long-awaited sixth-generation of one of America's most iconic vehicles, the Mustang, and a ground-breaking update for the US market's perennial best seller, the F-Series, it should come as no surprise at all that Ford was Google's most searched for automaker in 2014. Jeep captured second place, while Dodge, took third. We suspect introducing a pair of cars with 707 horsepower had something to do with that bronze medal...
