This is the 8th offering, and one of my favorites.

Based on the cover car of OL' SKOOL RODZ #16 which is owned by Coker Tire.

The '46 Ford cab (same as '41) is angle chopped 5" and 4".

Also available are the winter shutters that go with the grille shell.

Chevy bed.

Frame is early Bronco, factory boxed.

Front suspension is '72 Ford Twin I Beam.

Rack and pinion steering with disc brakes.

Rear axle is 8 3/4 Dodge & 3.91 posi w/ leaf springs.

Wheels and tires front and rear are: 16x7 & 16x8 - 235/70 & 285/75

Engine is '73 Dodge truck 440, with earlier closed chamber heads.

Crower 270 degree cam and springs.

Weiand tunnel ram and Edelbrock carbs.

Custom headers with 3" cherry bombs.

Chrysler electronic ignition, electronic choke, fan and fuel pump.

Truck has new aluminum radiator and 12 gallon fuel cell.

A vintage trunk houses the battery.

Interior has leather bench seat. Amp-Oil-Temp gauges & Tach.

AM-FM radio for your listening pleasure.

Ford to show special edition Raptor on April 9

There are precious few details, but what we do know is that Ford will be revealing images of "appearance upgrades" for a special-edition 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor on April 9. The slideshow will happen during a Motor Press Guild luncheon at Ford's Design Center Showroom in Irvine, California.
Without photos or further details, we're left to wonder about the extent of these changes, but aren't expecting anything too significant given the venue. Ford is understood to be revealing a next-generation F-150 with a big weight loss - as much as 700 pounds - for 2014, though it isn't yet clear if that's the truck's model year or simply its on-sale year. For at least a couple of years, Ford forums have been suggesting changes will come with the 2014 Raptor, so there could still be a bigger surprise in store. Either way, we'll know what all this means in a little more than a week. The press release below has the official details, but for the moment, we'll content ourselves by ogling the 2013 model above.

2015 Ford Mustang stars in bizarrely awesome '80s aerobics video

For reasons we can't comprehend, here's a music video starring the all-new, 2015 Ford Mustang and a number of dancers dressed and styled in the most stereotypically 1980s way possible. The dancers then take part in a male-versus-female dance off. Again, we've no idea why it exists.
It's weird, and for the second time in two weeks, we're sat at our computer wondering, "What are we watching?" That said, it does show the new Mustang from a number of angles, and it's one of the first car-related YouTube videos we've seen that's available in a 4K, ultra-high-def stream.

2015 Ford Mustang specs revealed, GT to pack 435 HP

The 2015 Ford Mustang sounds great so far - at least on paper. Ford has just announced specs for the latest version of the iconic pony car in Dearborn, telling Autoblog that it will pump out as much as 435 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque from its 5.0-liter V8.
Those gaudy figures power the naturally aspirated GT model, and they easily eclipse the "more than" 420 hp and 390 lb-ft that Ford originally estimated.
The 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 310 hp and 320 lb-ft, and it's the first turbo Mustang since the 1986 SVO.
