This 1939 Ford Panel truck was bought, sold, and titled in 1938. It is like other 1939's with the 39 grille and factory first year hydraulic brakes. I bought this truck out of Southern Utah because of how clean the body was. It had a broke axle and I replaced the rearend with one from a 1940. I replaced all the wheel cylinders, brake lines and master cylinder. I also have some extra drums for the truck. I have an electric fuel pump on the truck and a rebuilt holley 94 carb. I drove it into the Viva Las Vegas show Easter Weekend but it has been sitting since. I pulled the battery and have not installed the alternator on it yet. You can hear it run before you buy though. The brakes also should be adjusted and rebled. Although it still needs a little work, This truck is a find. Their is only a couple little rust spots on the entire truck. One spot in the right running board, and a couple soft spots in the kick panels. THAT IS ALL! The bottoms of each door is clean. The rockers are clean. even behind the spare tire. That is why I bought the truck. The fenders need some work but I like it the way it is. The seat is aftermarket an needs mounted. (i was looking for an original) Has beautiful original gauges. I even have all five hubcaps and trim rings. I can take pictures of anything you would like specifically. It is not everyday you find a half ton short barrel nose panel. Happy Bidding, No Reserve.
Buyer is responsible for shipping. $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of purchase.must be paid in full within 5 days of purchase. If you have a question call before you bid! 702-985-4671

2015 Ford F-150 configurator is ready to go to work
Thu, 25 Sep 2014Ford is inching towards the on-sale date for the eagerly anticipated, aluminum F-150 pickup. While we're preparing to drive the new truck (expect our take on it sooner rather than later), the best-seller has reached another, albeit more minor, milestone as its online configurator has officially been switched on.
We took to Ford's consumer website to mess about with it and see just how ridiculous of a truck we can build. Among the fun things we discovered were these two nuggets - the most expensive truck we could configure was not the top-end Platinum model, but instead the King Ranch, which rang up at $65,955. The other exciting discovery? The new truck would be available in a questionable shade called Blue Jeans (shown above with the optional contrasting Caribou paint). Yep, Blue Jeans.
You can head over to Ford's consumer page and build your very own aluminum F-150 now. Take a look.
Ford starting up 2.0L EcoBoost engine production in Ohio
Fri, 22 Feb 2013Joe Hinrichs, Ford's President of The Americas (pictured above), announced today that in late 2014, the automaker will be building the 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder at its Cleveland Engine Plant, a move requiring a $200-million investment and the hiring of 450 new employees. European-built Ford products will continue to source this engine from the Valencia, Spain plant where all of these EcoBoost four-cylinder engines are currently built, and the new Cleveland engines will be used for all North American-made models.
Ford is planning to build its popular EcoBoost engines regionally to maximize production capacity and meet customer demand. Last year, Ford sold 334,364 vehicles with EcoBoost engines in the US alone, and that number is expected to swell to more than 500,000 by the end of this year, with global sales expected to total 1.6 million. By 2015, Ford says that 95 percent of its nameplates will offer an EcoBoost engine.
One such vehicle that could be adding an EcoBoost engine, according to Automotive News, is none other than the 2015 Ford Mustang. The report says that Ford could use either the 2.0-liter EcoBoost or an upcoming 2.3-liter EcoBoost in the sixth-generation pony car.
