Description - NO RESERVE AUCTION

THIS MUSTANG WAS BUILT BY TESTING AND FOR TESTING MANY OF THE
NEW PART'S RESPONSIBLE FOR TODAY'S MASSIVE HORSEPOWER GAINS THAT WERE
ONCE THOUGHT IMPOSSIBLE.
Currently Special Thanks to DIABLOSPORT, CHIPMASTER REVOLUTION,CMR
MAFia- ANDERSON-CROWER-MANLEY-ARP ACCEL-MSD-DEI-HOOKER- for all the
part's & forged internals that allows this SBF to handle the current
22 lbs of boost. .On top taking in all the AIR/FUEL is a very rare
Downs intake manifold made specifically for EFI  forced induction
which tested better than a $2000 sheet metal manifold attached to a BBK/
Edelbrock 75mm throttle body. The high horsepower & boost start with a
Race Prepped Vortech Supercharger built using upgraded internals along
with custom cog pulleys. Continued using Vortech's performance part's
by adding the Vortech Mondo Racing By Pass Valve, Vortech Racing
HUGE Discharge Tube & Vortech fuel rails holding High Performance
43lb fuel injectors. Handling the fuel's distribution & boost
referencing the Vortech's high boost is a Paxton Fuel Management Unit
or FMU. Getting the fuel up front is the Aeromotive /Holley/ Russell
fuel system flowing continuously front to back with a return line set
up using steel braided fuel lines that are DEI THERMA wrapped in the
engine bay as well!
Diablosport's Revolution chip ECU programming and a Diablosport
MAFia Mass Air puck with 7 different programmable tunes basically makes
everything mentioned above along with the C&L Max Air (maf) to work great together. But also giving
alot of credit to MSD ignition for their MSD 6 BTM BOOST TIMING
MASTERS that automatically adjust spark timing based on the amount
boost being made as pressure increases the BTM will retard timing to
prevent detonation all of which is controlled by a small dash mounted
MSD box with a knob to retard as much as 15 degree's of timing without
getting out of the car. The tranny is a built manual reverse valve
body C-4 with an 8"competition stall converter an a steering wheel
mounted trans-brake button thats controlled by a MSD RPM activated
switch that includes a MSD RPM module selector you can plug in to have
12 different RPM launch settings inside the car and you can also
control RPM rev limiter for the LINE-LOCK where its controlled from
the button manufactured on the top handle of the Cheetah Shifter,
Mounted just beneath the AUTOMETER gauges is a DEDENBEAR COMMAND
CENTER within easy reach to program from the drivers seat. The
AUTOMETER MONSTER TACH with shift light is also within easy reach &
doesn't block your view of the outside fuel pressure gauge. With the two o2 sensors the
AIR/FUEL gauge is mounted so it can be seen easily but out of the way
so as not to distract you as well are the interiors LED light's.
While on the interior, this car still has is original & rust free
floor boards and the rear back half was professionally installed using
all steel flooring & steel tubs, it has a 10 point cage with a
Painless Halo mounted Pro Stock 7 switch panel within easy reach and
well lighted. It was previously certified for 8.50 so it includes
window netting & hardware as well as a 2.5lb chrome Halguard Fire
Extinguisher. It also has the required divider panel in the back
between the driver's compartment & the trunk area unique to hatch back FOX
Body cars that holds the battery, 5 gallon fuel cell & NOS bottle.
The entire interior flooring & complete undercarriage was sprayed with
Lizard Lining a FIREPROOF sound, heat, vibration & rust barrier that
looks as good as it works. The door panels & center console were
handmade as a carbon fiber finish using the same fireproof liner so
they match rest of the car, it still has its original roll up
windows, door handles & locks. In fact this car still has its entire
original ignition switch with key, dash panel, gauges and glove box.
So the driver /passenger area is NOT a beat up aluminum drag car
interior ,with its new black carpet, floor mats plus the carbon fiber
finished center console it is just as unique as this cars exterior.
The center console fits over the Cheetah SCS shifter has a molded in
large wired & lighted AUTOMETER 0-2000psi NITROUS PRESSURE gauge
along with pre wired on/off switches as well as a carbon fiber
aircraft style flip power on switch. These were built in the console
for using a Methanol Boost Cooler & Nitrous in some sort of cooling
capacity. However the 10lb included NITROUS bottle or the NXexpress
carbon fiber NOS or FUEL solenoid's have never been wired or used with
this current drive train. But probably enough steel braided NOS & FUEL
lines to run 2 complete systems is included. Also
included is a liquid filled NOS pressure bottle gauge, extra buttons,
wires, RPM activated switches with extra rpm/NOS pill's & jet's

Except the fiberglass cowl hood this car is steel and it still has its original
factory front floor pans but the interior , entire front end , splitter
spoiler, body molding and functioning rear 1/4 scoops were all hand
fabricated! I have the original rear spoiler in case buyer doesn't
like the higher spoiler. This Mustang is currently pushing 22lbs boost
making big dependable horsepower, with a
one of a kind body that NO other fox body Mustang will ever
have unless you chose to let them make molds, starts every time ,and there is over 1000hrs
put into this car with the best parts and latest trends installed.
After all with the cog pulley set up, race fuel and everything
tightened up this combo could easily push the 800hp -1000hp mark.

Now,the facts that I know are important to you, this Mustang has upgraded to 5 lug and 4 wheel disc brakes
with the rear brakes being the WILWOOD PRO RACING KIT. The rear end is held up by
a set of adjustable KONI COIL OVER's & it currently has a 4:89 rear gear. The CROWER Roller rocker arms ,MANLY
Valve Springs  ,Anderson Blower Cam and countless hours of machine work are part of why this SBF can
handle a cog pulley SUPERCHARGER putting out 22lbs of BOOST. You will see in the pictures
that it has the LARGEST possible lower crank COG pulley (as it even shaved 1/2 a millimeter) off
of the CRS electric water pump & the top pulley was the smallest COG offered at that time.
So the ARP BOLTS actually deserve most of the credit !!!!!
The radiator currently has DUAL FANS to cool it as well as the transmission cooler and is on a separate
switch than the water pump so you aren't forced to run both at all times.
The full length HOOKER headers are completely wrapped with DEI Therma-wrapping under the hood
and both have o2 sensors for precise tuning . They connect to full STAINLESS STEEL exhaust leading to the X pipe back
then into 2 stainless steel Pro Mufflers that truly allow this Mustang to not attract attention on those test drives around the neighborhood late at night or early weekends. BUT....
If your want to drive this car on the TRACK ONLY then once the exhaust is removed from the
headers back you can lower the rear end to probably a few inches off the ground because the tubs
probably have a foot between the top of the tire.
The motor has new fluids, oil, filter and currently has a set of SUPER COOL heat range "10" racing spark plugs.
As this FOX has been in storage for over a year the Forced Induction Industry has grown to
epic horsepower gains of 2000+ on pump gas or  7sec. street car's in every town .Which means with
all the new performance parts , ignition systems, ECU's along with the fuel and cooling options now
available to everyone this Mustang could be a street car, drag car, drift car, street/strip or a combo
of them all...... while adding even more horsepower!!
All for a fraction of what custom tunes & part's used to cost!
(please contact WILSON RACING @ 704-938-0421 for detail's about this FOX as well as its endless possibilities)

J Mays on the 2015 Ford Mustang

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

J Mays, head of design at Ford, may be retiring from the company after 16 years, but not before showing the world his swan song: the 2015 Mustang. Ford officially revealed its new coupe and convertible to the public at events around the world on Thursday, including a live unveiling on ABC's Good Morning America, and Mays was in attendance at the automaker's home event in Dearborn, MI, which is where we caught up with him for a few words about his new baby.
"It's a joy" to design the Mustang, Mays told Autoblog, adding that this sixth-generation coupe is his "favorite design so far." Of course, the 2015 model takes cues from all of the generations that came before it, but Mays said it was important to edit down the specific elements from previous models, leaving just enough off to let the customer "participate and fill in the blanks."
"If it doesn't sell itself, you probably aren't a Mustang fan."

Ford Fusion demand outstripping supply

Sat, 15 Jun 2013

The attractive new 2013 Ford Fusion has done wonders for the brand in the highly competitive midsize sedan segment - the vehicle is up nearly 22 percent compared to last year. But that sales momentum may soon hold steady due to low inventory levels of the new Fusion across the United States.
According to a report in The Detroit News, citing automotive data and Ward's Auto, Ford currently has a 39-day supply of the Fusion. That might sound fine, but a normally healthy average is about a 60-day supply. If Ford were to stop production on the Fusion today, there would only be enough vehicles available to get through another five weeks of sales, according to the News.
Currently, Ford produces the Fusion at its three-shift assembly plant in Hermosillo, Mexico, and will add production at its facility in Flat Rock, MI later this year. A Ford spokesperson told The Detroit News that when Flat Rock production comes online, the automaker will need to rush new stock out to the regions with the most demand for the Fusion. Ford has doubled its coastal retail market share, with huge amounts of growth in areas like Los Angeles, San Francisco and Miami, the News reports.

1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express in Generation Gap showdown with 1933 Ford Pickup

Fri, 18 Jul 2014

Auto enthusiasts love a good debate, whether it's Mustang versus Camaro or Ferrari against Lamborghini. But how about a battle between two very different vintages of classic pickup trucks? In this case, the fight is between a 1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express and a 1933 Ford Model 46 truck with a flathead V8.
The shootout comes courtesy of the internet series Generation Gap, and its concept is super-simple. One guy prefers classics, and the other likes newer rides. They choose a category, pick two vehicles and put them head to head. In this case, neither is exactly modern, though. The Ford is more than old enough to receive Social Security checks, and the Dodge is hardly a young whippersnapper.
Other than both being pickups, these two models were made to serve very different functions. The Li'l Red Express was basically the progenitor of today's muscle trucks, with a big V8 that made it one of the quickest new models in its day (admittedly, 1979 was a rough time for automotive performance). On the other hand, the '33 Ford was just meant to work, with little pretense for anything else. One of the hosts describes it as "the simplest, most difficult" vehicle he's driven because of the tricky double clutchwork necessary to shift gears. Scroll down to watch the video and try to decide which of these two American classics you would rather have in your garage.
