This is a awsome 88 coupe. The car was painted last month and i havent driven it more then 10 miles since. It is grabber blue and it is a good paint job. The car when parked infront of my shop will stop traffic. I was building it to be a 10 second or quicker street car. It has never been to the track or even raced on the street but i am sure if you put slicks on it it would be in the low 10,s in the quarter. I have driven this car to columbia about 2 hours away and back so it will drive anywere. Were to start, i will list the mods below. Before repainting the car i tried to get as much weight out of it as possible. All speakers ac equipment rear seat supports emisions stuff was removed. I allso deleted the antenna and passenger door lock when it was repainted. I thought it was a nice touch. I am selling this car because as much as i like it i like my o3 cobra better and need to get a truck for work so something has to go. I am not intrested in trades.
engine. Stock block .30 with 347 forged strocker kit. edelbrock heads edelbrock intake bigger throttle body maff etc. e cam. Everything under the hood is less then a year old. 255lph fuel pump aeromotive regulator 42pound injectors.
transmission is a tko 600 with scatter proff bell spec stage 3 clutch adjustable cable alum driveshaft.
suspenion, it has been lowered with eibach drge launch kit tubular k member tubular upper lower control arms flaming river manuel rack 4 wheel disc 5 lug conversion. Strange adjustable rear shocks.
rear end is a built with 373 gears and a eaton carrier.
vortech v2 s trim 2 years old with power pipe. 10 psi boost
I am sure there is alot i am forgetting about this car. It sounds very good and has long tubes installed on it. It has a offroad h pype with not cats. Last time i had it dynoed it put down443 rwhp that was just after i put the supercharger on it. It wasint anywere neared tuned to its potential. everything under the hood from tune up to battery is new.The rear fenders have been rolled for bigger tires and it comes with a set of 10.5 slicks on welds for the rear. The front inner fender liners were trimed so the 17,s dont rub on the front. The rims on it are nice 17x9 cobras. I was going to put new tires on them. The tread is ok but they are cheap tires and dont hook at all. The cr has solid motor mounts. Ask all and every question you can think of. Feel free to text me at 843 730 3541. I can send more pics or video. This auction has a low reserve so be prepared to buy if you bid. Car is forsale loclly for 8800.00
The bad stuff. I want nobody to be disapointed so here geos. The interior has some black but door panels were red and painted black. Looks ok but not show qaulity. I just installed cster camber plates and may or maynot have it aligned by the time u pick it up. It drives just pulls a little left and needs a alignment. The speedo cable is not installed at the moment. That may or may not be fixed. This car is my shop toy so its what we do on slow days. it needs new wiper blades. and last but not least the multi function switch is wiggy and needs to be replace. All togethere that about 300 in parts and 2 hours labor to fix. I just want there to be no disapointments. This is a very fast car so happy bidding and be carfull driveing.

2015 Ford Transit
Wed, 11 Jun 2014As a segment, fullsize vans are stealth-fighter invisible on most consumers' radar. Visit a dealership for any of the four brands that offer them and you'll be lucky to find even one on display. These are commercial vehicles primarily, even more so than pickup trucks. Vans are the shuttles for plumbers, caterers, carpenters, concrete layers, masons, electricians, florists and flooring, and a huge part of this country's productivity is accomplished using them. At the moment, Ford is the 800-pound gorilla in that room - fully 41 percent of commercial vehicles wear a Blue Oval. So when Ford announced three years ago it would be ditching its commercial bread-and-butter E-Series, it meant the Transit that would be replacing the Econoline had huge, 53-year-old shoes to fill.
We were still a bit nostalgic about Econoline vans going away until going directly from the Transit first drive in Kansas City to an E-350 airport shuttle. Climb up through the Econoline's tiny double doors and bang your head on the opening, crouch all the way to your seat then enjoy a loud, rattle-prone, creaky, harsh ride on beam-hard seats while struggling to see out the low windows. This is an experience nearly every traveler has had. By comparison, the Transits we'd just spent two days with were every bit of the four decades better they needed to be. It cannot be understated just how much better the Transit is in every single way. The load floor is barely more than knee high. There's a huge side door, and hitting your head on a door opening is nearly impossible. Stand up all the way if you're under six-foot, six-inches - no more half-hunching down the aisle. There are windows actually designed to be looked out of. The ride is buttery smooth, no booming vibration from un-restrained metal panels and no squeaks. Conversations can be held at normal levels rather than yelling over the roar of an ancient V8. The seats are comfortable. The AC is cold. There are cupholders.
Enough anecdote-laying, what's in a Transit? We're talking about a very fullsized unibody van that's enjoyed a 49-year history in Ye Olde Europe. This latest iteration is part of the "One Ford" initiative, so it was designed as a global offering from the get-go, eschewing the body-on-frame construction the E-Series has used since 1975. Instead, the Transit integrates a rigid ladder frame into an overall frame construction made of high-strength cold-rolled and boron steel. The suspension is a simple but well-tuned Macpherson strut array up front with a rear solid axle and leaf springs.
Ford upgrade kit takes Focus ST to 275 hp and 296 lb-ft
Mon, Aug 17 2015If you drive a 2015 Ford Focus ST but are already jealous of the 345-horsepower 2016 Focus RS that's on the horizon, Ford Performance has a new upgrade kit that could be a great compromise. Developed by the Blue Oval experts at Mountune, the MP275 setup takes the hot hatch's output to 275 hp and 296 pound-feet of torque when running on 93-octane fuel. Those are gains of 23 hp and 26 lb-ft, respectively. Providing much of the kit's extra oomph is a recalibrated ECU with more aggressive engine mapping. The company claims that the upgrade also improves throttle response, and it keeps the Focus ST 50-state emissions legal. In addition, customers get a Mountune high-flow intercooler, a new air intake, and all of the necessary hardware to mount the components in the engine bay. For those concerned about reliability, when an authorized Ford Performance technician installs the parts, the Focus maintains the factory warranty. The MP275 kit currently retails for $1,900 on the Ford Performance website. For added protection during harsh weather, customers can also get an end cap for the cone air filter for $15. And on that front, the new Focus ST mountune upgrade kit delivers in spades. The idea of a street-legal, reliable, largely stock 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine making nearly 300 lb.-ft. of torque might have seemed ludicrous 10 years ago, but the components of the MP275 Focus ST performance upgrade not only combine to produce up to 296 lb.-ft. of torque with 93-octane fuel, they are designed for maximum reliability as well. "The 2015 Focus ST MP275 upgrade is the latest addition to Ford Performance's vast Focus and Fiesta performance catalog that gives enthusiasts the components they need to take their car to the next level," said Adam Gair, product manager, Ford Performance.
