RARE & ORIGINAL 1967 Ford Mustang V8 Coupe

*** LOW RESERVE ***
*Origninal 289 V8

*C-4 Automatic Trans
*Bucket Seats
*Interior Console
*Air Conditioning
*Dual Exhaust

Thanks for looking! This is one of the most original '67 Ford Mustangs around!! This gorgeous Wimbledon white pony comes highly optioned with things such as a strong running C-Code 289 V8, bucket seats, dual bowl brake cylinder,C-4 automatic transmission, dual exhaust, interior console, air conditioning, original wheel covers & stunning red crinkle vynil standard interior

The factory red interior of this pony is in ok overall condition. The dash has some cracking and warping, driver seat has a seam coming apart and the lower part of the rear seat has a seam coming undone. The carpet on this mustang is beginning to fade and should probably be replaced if a full restoration is done. The headliner of the vehicle appears to have been replaced very recently and looks great. All interior courtesy lights are functional as well as the am/fm radio. The underside of both doors look great with no sign of rot. The interior of this vehicle, although not in show condition, is all there and can easily be considered driver quality, but needs very little to be GREAT!

The paint on this mustang seems to be orginal. There are chips in the paint here and there, but bare metal is visible in the chips, which shows that this car has not been covered in bondo. It appears to have had some patch work in the rear passenger lower quarter area , but it was done well.

The underside of this car is in great original condition, only surface rus, No Holes. This vehicle has been in the dry Texas climate most of its life and it definitely shows. Bushings do show signs of being dry, but honestly, the car drives well, not squeaks, shakes or rattles.

I have briefly gone through the mechanics of this mustang  and everything checks out fine. Engine runs smooth with no smoke or overheating, trans shifts well, lights are all functional. I do however encourage inspections.

This Ford Mustang is a fine example of American Muscle History. She is a proven driver and is also a perfect candidate for a restoration. Dont miss this opportunity to own her!! Ive tried to represent this car as honestly as possible , but , as always, inspections are welcome and encouraged. Call today with any questions prior to bidding. Thanks again for looking and good luck bidding!! International bidders are welcome and I will assist with shipping. 305-525-1731.

1969 Ford Talladega GPT Special is a SEMA showstopper

Thu, 07 Nov 2013

Rad Rides by Troy has unleashed upon the SEMA crowds this custom 1969 Ford Torino Talladega GT Special, and it's a beauty. The car calls to mind the classic Holman Moody stock cars that circled NASCAR tracks in the late 1960's, driven by the likes of Mario Andretti, Dan Gurney and David Pearson, who won the Grand National title in both 1968 and '69 in a Ford Torino.
Even though it has plenty of stock-car influence, there's nothing retro about the car's design or powertrain, other than the fact that the engine is based on a Ford Boss 429 block. Fuel injection, aftermarket aluminum heads and a high-tech custom computer system combine to send 750 reliable ponies to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. Brakes measure 14-inches all around, with six-piston Wilwood calipers up front and four-piston units out back.
There's custom bodywork abound, painted in a two-tone Tennessee Whiskey Gold and Daytona Sand finish. Check out all the amazing details in the image gallery below, and scroll down to read all about it in designer Troy Trepanier's own words.

2015 Ford Mustang prototype spotted on the street

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Our trusty spy photographers have snapped the first photos of the 2015 Ford Mustang prototype out on public streets. With nearly every square inch of the machine covered in heavy camouflage, it's difficult to discern details, but we can see smallish horizontal headlamps at work in the coupe's nose. Ford has made it clear that modern lighting technology will allow the company to get away from large, expensive headlamp arrays in the near future, and the 2015 Mustang may very well be the first of the automaker's products to bow with the new tech. The philosophy was first displayed on the very attractive Evos Concept.
The extensive cladding doesn't extend all the way to the prototype's rockers in the instance, giving us a look at the heavily-sculpted sills. Overall, this test car looks considerably smaller than the current generation Mustang, and elements like a short front overhang and beefy dual-piston calipers give us plenty of hope for the future model. Of course, reports that the 2015 Mustang will bow with an independent rear suspension and EcoBoost power certainly don't hurt our feelings, either.

Ford acquires Livio to bolster connectivity biz

Thu, 26 Sep 2013

Ford Motor Company has announced the acquisition of Livio, a Ferndale, MI-based software development company best known for aftermarket in-car connectivity devices, but also as a supplier of technology for proprietary systems for automakers. Livio, co-founded by Sigal and Massimo Baldini, will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Global Technologies.
"With the additional expertise Livio provides us, Ford intends to continue to lead the next generation of in-car connectivity with technology advancements that give consumers more options to access their devices on the go," said Paul Mascarenas, chief technical officer and vice president, Ford Research and Innovation, in a statement.
Ford is clearly trying to beef up its in-house tech capability around telematics and device connectivity. While the Blue Oval has been a leader in these areas with SYNC and MyFord Touch in terms of getting the systems into as many cars as possible, the execution of the applications have been criticized for glitches.
