Ford Mustang Svt Cobra Convertible 2-door on 2040-cars
Mc Knightstown, Pennsylvania, United States
There are a few exterior marks on the paint from driving. The Roush side skirts have a little wear near the exhaust tip from the front tires throwing debris from the road. On the front passenger fender there is a scratch starting just back from the light and it continues onto the bumper, I tried to capture it the best I could in the pictures. That scratch is from my dog using my car to stand up and look out the window of the garage one time (Fortunately my wife was home at the time to save my dog from me). The scoops on the side of the car also have some small chips and wear from the road debris hitting them(photographed also). The roll bar has a mark on it were the seat belt retainer was pushed into it it from the passenger/ /driver in the front, this damage is slight and is photographed( this was done prior to me owning the car ). The wheels on the car do have some pit marks on the interior and they have VERY minor pit marks randomly around the lugs and where the spokes meet the rim (the pit marks are the same as the day I got the car). This car has many modifications to it, from ground up. Dyno 437.43HP / 382.06TQ 03/04 18"wheels with Michelin Pilot Sports Yukon Dura Grip rear end with 31 spline axle, 3.90 motive gears Aluminum drive shaft Centerforce dual friction clutch / new cable and pedal assembly Coast High Performance 5.1 liter stroker / Street fighter( rated to handle approx 800-900HP) Valve covers / timing chain cover / intake / strut tower brace -powder coated black to match car. Over sized MMR oil pan / upgraded oil pump. Pro charger inter-cooler that was sitting at a performance shop. Heads have a lot of work done, ported exhaust, ferrea valves (flow about 80cfm more than stock if I remember correct). Roush options- side skirts w/side exit exhaust, rear bumper kit, suspension, vortech centrifugal blower. Seats are form 03/04 cobra. electric operated driver seat does work. Roll bar installed All knobs and door buttons are billet. Steeda floor mats and door jam inserts. Angled brace on underneath for rigidness. Exhaust is BBK Headers with Magna Flow mufflers This car was a lease car for its first year, which only had about 5,000 miles on it when it was returned to the dealer at the end of the lease. At that time the owner who purchased it had the Roush package added. This car was a dealer installed Roush package, which was the way it was conducted prior to 05 when they began tracking them through Roush. I have fax copies and receipts between the second owner and Roush representatives, which indicate that this car is a true Roush Cobra. ...etc

Ford recalling nearly 5,700 2014 F-150s for power steering issue
Wed, 25 Jun 2014Ford is recalling 5,675 of its 2014 F-150 pickups over an issue with the electric power steering system. There haven't been any injuries or accidents due to the issue.
Ford spokesman Mike Levine told Autoblog that the "electric power-assisted steering and motor position sensor gear were incorrectly installed by a supplier," leading to the recall.
While the recall is larger on the surface, it's important to note that only 260 trucks have been delivered to customers. The remaining pickups are currently en route to dealers. The affected vehicles were manufactured between May 26 and June 19.

Car Stories: Owning the SHO station wagon that could've been
Fri, Oct 30 2015A little over a year ago, I bought what could be the most interesting car I will ever own. It was a 1987 Mercury Sable LS station wagon. Don't worry – there's much more to this story. I've always had a soft spot for wagons, and I still remember just how revolutionary the Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable were back in the mid-1980s. As a teenager, I fell especially hard for the 220-horsepower 1989 Ford Taurus SHO – so much so that I'd go on to own a dozen over the next 20 years. And like many other quirky enthusiasts, I always wondered what a SHO station wagon would be like. That changed last year when I bought the aforementioned Sable LS wagon, festooned with the high-revving DOHC 3.0-liter V6 engine and five-speed manual transmission from a 1989 Taurus SHO. In addition, the wagon had SHO front seats, a SHO center console, and the 140-mph instrument cluster with mileage that matched the engine. When I bought it, that number was just under 60,000 – barely broken in for the overachieving Yamaha-sourced mill. The engine and transmission weren't the only upgrades. It wore dual-piston PBR brakes with the choice Eibach/Tokico suspension combo in front. The rear featured SHO disc brakes with MOOG cargo coils and Tokico shocks, resulting in a wagon that handled ridiculously well while still retaining a decent level of comfort and five-door functionality. I could attack the local switchbacks while rowing gears to a 7,000-rpm soundtrack just as easily as loading up on lumber at the hardware store. Over time I added a front tower brace to stiffen things a bit as well as a bigger, 73-mm mass airflow sensor for better breathing, and I sourced some inexpensive 2004 Taurus 16-inch five-spoke wheels, refinished in gunmetal to match the two-tone white/gunmetal finish on the car. That, along with some minor paint and body work, had me winning trophies at every car show in town. And yet, what I loved most about the car wasn't its looks or performance, but rather its history. And here's where things also get a little philosophical, because I absolutely, positively love old used cars. Don't get me wrong – new cars are great. Designers can sculpt a timeless automotive shape, and engineers can construct systems and subsystems to create an exquisite chassis with superb handling and plenty of horsepower. But it's the age and mileage that turn machines into something more than the sum of their parts.
