Up for sale is my 93 Mustang GT. I'll start by saying the car is a rare survivor. It took me over a year to find a low mileage two tone GT in this condition. Color is electric red/titanium. Car is in amazing shape especially fo being 20 yrs old. Paint is almost perfect except for a scratch on the passenger door that was touched up before I got it, and a ding above the drivers door. Near all original with only a few mods. Interior is 99% perfect, and i dont think anyone ever even  sat in the back seats. Car has a sunroof that dosent leak with the original bag still in the hatch along with the spare tire. Tune up using Ford Motorsport 9mm wires , MSD cap and rotor 9/12.New battery 9/12. New bakes all around 9/12 emrgency brake works perfect. Brand new exhaust as of 8/12 with less than 200 miles on it. Stainless Steel Ford Racing shorty headers into BBK H pipe Exiting out Flowmaster 40 series mufflers and 2 1/2 " tail pipes(sounds amazing). 3.73:1 Gearset proffesionally installed 10/12 using Ford Racing gearset . Also new last summer cobra rims wrapped in Yokohoma S Drives. Car runs and drives perfectly. like a new 93 GT.Comes with a quality custom car cover. Car speaks for itself. Im sure im forgetting stuff but and questions feel free to ask . I might be able to deliver to the buyer if not too far. thanks for looking.

eBay Find of the Day: 1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe is showroom fresh

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

There's an ultra-rare Ford Thunderbird for sale on eBay, although it's not quite the T-Bird you're probably thinking. This is a 1987 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe, complete with a five-speed manual transmission and just a shade over 13,000 miles on the clock. The condition is said to be mint, and judging by the interior and exterior pictures, we're inclined to believe the seller. The paint is glossy and the interior looks showroom new, while the underbody is stunningly clean for a 36-year-old car.
Underhood sits a 2.3-liter, intercooled and turbocharged four-cylinder (also found in the Mustang SVO) that was producing 190 horsepower when it left the factory. Inside, the five-speed manual transmission adds to the car's rarity. The vehicle's sole owner has been as immaculate with the paperwork as he has with the rest of the car - it's all there, including brochures and other product material.
The eBay auction ends tomorrow at midnight (9:00 PM if you're on America's west coast). Bidding has reached $10,200, and there's still plenty of time to get in on this future classic. The vehicle is located in Millstone Township, NJ.

Ford Explorer, Expedition next to go aluminum?

Sun, 13 Apr 2014

Ford made some serious waves when it unveiled the latest F-150. Instead of making its bodywork out of steel, like just about every other truck on the market, Ford went with aluminum. And you can bet the F-150 won't be the last Ford model to go with the lightweight alloy construction, either.
Our compatriots at Edmunds report that Dearborn is considering replacing two of its most popular SUVs with aluminum versions. One candidate is the Expedition, which would make sense considering that the current model (like the two preceding generations and the fullsize Bronco before it) is based on the F-150's underpinnings. Another is the Explorer, which was traditionally based on the Ranger pickup but went with a car-like unibody chassis in its current iteration. If the Explorer does go the way of aluminum, don't expect it to be a part of its very next update, which is likely due too soon for such major changes.
It would stand to reason that, if the Expedition were to go aluminum, so would the next-generation Lincoln Navigator. Ditto the MKT together with the Explorer. But those aren't likely to be the only models in contention for aluminum construction. Like any other automaker, Ford is under pressure to steadily reduce its carbon emissions and improve its fuel economy figures, prompting it to look at a whole range of measures - including more efficient engines, lower rolling-resistance tires, active aerodynamics and lightweight construction. Expect aluminum to play a big part in that equation moving forward.
