2014 Shelby GT500!!!

This Car will Be built in September of 2013

You are bidding on the right to order a 2014 GT500 for a small Ford dealership in Kane PA. We have been in business since 1925 and this year we had two GT500 allocations and only have one sold. We decided to give someone the special opportunity to order the car how they would want it! The purchase price will be determined by the options the winning bidder chooses. You can order a coupe or convertible with whatever options you want. The bid price is the price you are willing to pay above the window sticker (retail) price. The bid starts at $1 and is no reserve. Some dealers are getting 10k over sticker for these cars and here is your chance to own one of the hottest cars of the year!!! We will require a $5000 deposit plus the auction final value at the end of the auction. The order will need to be submitted this week and the car will be built in September of this year. We do not charge nay other crazy fees when you buy from us. If you are in PA you will need to pay PA sales tax, $75 doc fee, and registration depending on if you transfer a tag from a different vehicle or purchase a new tag. If you are out of state you will not pay sales tax here in PA and will have a $75 doc fee and a temporary transit tag which is $10 unless you trailer it home, then you will not need a tag. We will do anything you want to the car before delivery, Some people have asked us to leave all stickers, marking on glass and plastic on the seats etc. Just please tell me how you would want it when it is delivered and we will do our best to make it a perfect delivery!!!! I can help with shipping but the cost will be responsible of the buyer. Any ?'s please ask. I will respond asap!!!!!

THE VIN LISTED IS JUST A RANDOM GT500 VIN AS EBAY WOULD NOT LET ME LIST WITHOUT A VIN NUMBER. I HAD TO PUT SOMETHING IN THERE SINCE THIS CAR IS NOT BUILT YET SO OBVIOUSLY I DO NOT HAVE THE CORRECT VIN NUMBER!!!!!

This is being relisted because the high bidder thought he was going to be able to buy this car for $2025 plus 5000!!!! This car will be priced between 55000-70000 plus the bid price. the winner is bidding the price they are willing to pay above MSRP!!!!

I know it is very late to have this auction but if you want to have the opportunity to order this car exactly how you want it I suggest you use the buy it now or send me a reasonable offer. The car MUST be ordered Monday morning. If it is not order for someone I will end the auction and order a stock unit. Please submit an offer call or txt 814-598-2612

Quitting Mexico factory helps bring down Ford earnings $200 million in 2016

Thu, Jan 26 2017

Ford released its 2016 earnings report this morning, and despite a fourth quarter net loss it proved to be the automaker's second most successful year ever, following record breaking numbers in 2015. Losses for the year come from a number of sources, including accounting changes and a $200 million hit for backing out of the small-car factory in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Despite the loss, come March 9 about 56,000 UAW-represented employees will receive a $9,000 profit-sharing check. That, like most of Ford's other 2016 metrics, is slightly down from the year before, but it's still the second best profit-sharing payment ever. Total net income was $4.6 billion, down $2.8 billion from 2015. Total revenue for 2016 was $151.8 billion, up $2.2 billion. Ford's earnings report lists a global market share of 7.6 percent, down a tenth from 2015. Ford's European and Asia-Pacific markets posted their best and second best pre-tax profits respectively. The South American, Middle East, and African markets all took hits because of unstable economies and other external factors. Ford expects to have another down year in 2017 as it invests in new and emerging markets and focuses more on its mobility projects.Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Unrestored 1969 Shelby GT500 one of many classic barn finds going to auction

Wed, 19 Mar 2014

We love a good barn find here at Autoblog. We like that there's a palpable excitement and sense of mystery surrounding barn finds. Each case has its own uniqueness to it, and this latest discovery is no different: an unrestored, one-owner 1969 Shelby GT500 with just 8,531 miles on it.
In the case of this particular barn find, many of the typical questions have already been answered. For example, we know who owned it - his name was Larry Brown. He recently passed away, and as he had no wife or children to inherit the estate, the car he purchased at Pennsylvania Ford dealer in May of 1969, will be auctioned off by Ron Gilligan Auctioneers.
The car was fastidiously maintained, having never been driven in the rain. In fact, Brown never even washed it, out of fear of it rusting. According to the auction website, the last time this car saw water was probably when it was detailed ahead of being delivered to Brown. If that doesn't sound like a fanatical sense of maintenance on the part of this GT500's owner, this next part will. The interior has been treated to a similarly painstaking attempt at preservation, with garbage bags covering the seats and two layers of floor mats over the carpets. The result is a car that, aesthetically, is in remarkable shape considering it's spent so long in a barn.

2015 Ford F-150 [w/videos]

Thu, 02 Oct 2014

To learn more about the all-new 2015 F-150 and get an early read on its potential hero-or-zero status, we flew to the heart of full-size pickup truck country, San Antonio, TX, to spend a day driving, towing and playing in the mud with an assortment of Ford's innovative new trucks.
First, a caveat - while we feel we have a reasonably good handle on the new F-150 after attending this first-drive event, we are far from ready to pass definitive judgment on the success of this radically new rig. Our time in the various models was lamentably limited and we felt rushed. With so much at stake and with so much to talk about and experience, we had zero alone time with the vehicle - there were Ford folks shadowing us at every moment.
And we still don't know everything there is to know about the trucks, as Ford is withholding some of its most crucial numbers, including curb weight data and anticipated EPA fuel economy figures. We don't even have a firm on-sale date. All of this information is typically disclosed - or at least officially estimated - at the time of a new vehicle's first drive. This limits the scope of the judgments we feel comfortable making based on our first encounter.
