Up for sale is a 2012 Ford Mustang GT Premium coupe.

This car is well equipped with the desirable 6 speed manual transmission.

It has approximately 10900 miles, 90% are highway driving.

It is the uplevel Mustang with premium trim package leather seats with power driver seat, Sirius XM radio, Shaker 500 stereo, Microsoft Sync, 18 inch polished wheels, universal garage door opener, power windows and locks, full steering wheel controls, MyKey, ambient lighting, remote keyless entry, retro cue ball shifter knob, tire pressure monitor, Securilock anti theft system, strut brace bar, usb connector for MP3 or Apple players and automatic headlights.

An unusual feature of this car is the rear spoiler delete.

The car is also equipped with Shelby GT500 mufflers and a recent set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport Summer tires. These are the only changes made to the car. I still have the all season tires that came originally with the car and can swap them back if the car goes to a winter climate.

The factory warranty is valid until May 29, 2015 or 36000 miles, whichever comes first. The Powertrain warranty and roadside assistance are valid until May 29, 2017 or 60000 miles whichever comes first.

The books, 2 sets of keys and original window sticker are included.

It is in excellent condition and never been smoked in. It will also come with a full tank of premium fuel.

The mileage will likely increase as I still use the car.

The car has never been abused, in fact my friends say I drive it like an old man.

Thank you for looking and Good Luck!

Hyundai, BMW and Ford win Concept Vehicle of the Year awards

Sat, 06 Jul 2013

More than two dozen jurors started with a pool of 23 concept cars introduced at the most recent Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago, Toronto and New York auto shows, then pared it down to three winners in three categories for the twelfth annual North American Concept Vehicle of the Year Awards. The trophy-bearers are said to be those "vehicles most likely to shape the future of the automobile industry," and lead their classes in the Concept Car, Concept Truck and Production Preview divisions.
Hyundai had two cars as finalists for the Concept Car category, the competition boiled down to the Hyundai HCD-14 Genesis concept, Veloster C3 Roll Top, Honda EV-STER and the Toyota Corolla Furia. It won with the HCD-14 Genesis that was introduced at the Detroit Auto Show, a sharp sedan that sharply divided opinion between those who thought it was too much, those who thought it was too much Audi A7, and those who thought it was perfect. The award panel's judges, however, thought so much of it that it's got two awards in one sitting, not only taking concept car honors, but because it earned the highest overall score in the competition it also takes the crown for Most Significant Concept Vehicle of 2013.
The final selection in the Concept Truck category was down to the Ford Atlas, Kia Cross GT, Nissan Resonance and Volkswagen Cross Blue. The Ford Atlas took the silverware, after also winning the Eyes on Design award - shared with the Nissan Resonance - at the Detroit Auto Show where it was introduced.

Project Ugly Horse alive and kicking at Road & Track

Thu, 29 Aug 2013

The hallways of the Autoblog campus are much quieter now that Zach Bowman has taken his prose, along with his welders, wrenches and hammers, over to the digital pages of Road & Track, but that doesn't mean our favorite project Mustang is gone forever. Project Ugly Horse is still coming along, and Zach has gifted us another update on his unfoxy Fox Body.
Last we saw of the Ugly Horse, Zach was strengthening up the '89 Mustang's chassis as he prepares to stuff the turbocharged, direct-injected EcoBoost engine of a Ford Focus ST under the hood. First things first, the old mill must go. Head on over to Road & Track to catch the latest chapter of Project Ugly Horse.

Ford sells 7-millionth Explorer in America

Mon, 17 Nov 2014

Say what you will about the evolution of the Ford Explorer, from roofed Ranger to body-on-frame sport utility vehicle to unibody crossover - the bottom line is that it's been a tremendously successful model for Ford. In fact, the Blue Oval automaker has sold seven million Explorer models in the United States alone.
The milestone, marked nearly a quarter-century after the introduction of the original in 1990, comes on the eve of the introduction of a new Explorer at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week. We don't yet know how the new Explorer will shape up, but we're mere days away from finding out.
Now heading into its sixth generation, the Explorer has formed the basis of Ford's utility lineup for over two decades. The Explorer landed on the market right around the time that the Bronco was trailing off, predating the company's expansion into larger SUVs like the Expedition and Excursion and crossovers like the Escape, Edge and Flex.
