2012 Ford Mustang Gt 5.0 Premium Coupe 6 Speed Manual (black) on 2040-cars
Paris, Texas, United States
2012 Mustang GT Premium 5.0 Manual Factory installed options on the car include:
VIN# 1ZVBP8CF9C5216355 Mileage: 25,071 I have an extended service plan tied to this car’s VIN# that extends warranty to 5 years/75,000 miles, with only a $100 deductible. The car is also under a bumper-to-bumper warranty for 3 years/36,000 miles and a powertrain warranty of 5 years/60,000 miles. This car has been very well taken care of, and it sits in a garage when not being driven. NON-smoker, no food eaten in the car, never been abused. There's nothing wrong with the car, it runs great and looks good. The car is pretty much stock, with a few modifications listed below:
The tires are high quality (huge upgrade over the stock Pirelli Tires), and they were purchased February 6, 2014. They have an estimated 3,500 miles on them, and they look new. I do also have the factory stock exhaust that came with the car, and I might consider throwing it in with the price of the car. The car is running Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic oil, and the oil has always been changed regularly. I have the car's Texas title in my hand with my name on it, it is fully paid off and the title is clear. I will be driving this car while it is up for sale, so the mileage will go up slightly. I will be limiting the miles I put on it, so it should be very close to the mileage listed. I just recently got married and my wife isn't comfortable driving manual, so I need to sell this car so I can buy something else. Please do not waste my time with low-ball offers. I'm a patient seller, and I will wait until I get the right price for it. You will not be disappointed with this car, it is the best sounding car in town (Roush Exhaust), and it's a LOT of fun to drive. My cell phone number is (9O3) 495 - 8664. Feel free to text me or call me between 7 am and 9 pm. You may also email me. |

Ford sells 7-millionth Explorer in America
Mon, 17 Nov 2014Say what you will about the evolution of the Ford Explorer, from roofed Ranger to body-on-frame sport utility vehicle to unibody crossover - the bottom line is that it's been a tremendously successful model for Ford. In fact, the Blue Oval automaker has sold seven million Explorer models in the United States alone.
The milestone, marked nearly a quarter-century after the introduction of the original in 1990, comes on the eve of the introduction of a new Explorer at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week. We don't yet know how the new Explorer will shape up, but we're mere days away from finding out.
Now heading into its sixth generation, the Explorer has formed the basis of Ford's utility lineup for over two decades. The Explorer landed on the market right around the time that the Bronco was trailing off, predating the company's expansion into larger SUVs like the Expedition and Excursion and crossovers like the Escape, Edge and Flex.
New York Mets outfielder turns spring training into his personal car show
Wed, Feb 24 2016New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes is known for his wide range of talents. He can hit for power, average, has good speed, and is solid in the field. His car collection is equally versatile and diverse, and it's been on display this week at spring training. Every day has brought a different car, and it has his teammates and the media atwitter. Cespedes rolled up Wednesday to the Mets facility in Port St. Lucie in a Lamborghini Aventador. It's black with blue trim. Anthony DiComo with MLB.com tweeted this: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. ESPN's Darren Rovell tweeted the Lambo has a custom exhaust that cost $80,000 and shoots out flames. Of course, that's already old news. His Alfa Romeo showed up today, too. Apparently Mets infielder Wilmer Flores has been driving it. That's an ultra-rare 8C Competizione, brought to you by Robert Brender of SNY.TV. This content is hosted by a third party. It's customized with gaudy wire wheels, red accents, and Cespedes' No. 52 on the hood. Subtle. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Jon Santucci of Scripps newspapers observed it. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. At this rate, we should probably skip Geneva and get credentialed for Mets spring training. Cespedes signed a three-year $75-million contract with the Mets in the off-season. He's also played for the Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox, and Detroit Tigers. Related Video: Image Credit: Getty Images Celebrities Design/Style Ford Lamborghini Performance baseball
The U-2 spy plane needs high-performance cars to help land
Thu, Oct 15 2015Typically, aircraft deploy their landing gear from three main points. Most military aircraft, for example, deploy two gears at the back and one forward, like a tricycle. Some civilian aircraft flip the layout, with two in front and one in back - tail-draggers. The U-2 Dragon Lady is wildly different than any of these. With a 103-foot wingspan but a body that's just 63-feet long, the layout of the U-2 makes a traditional landing setup infeasible. Instead, the U-2 utilizes a pair of wheels, one up front and one in back. With such a bizarre layout, landings are so tough that since the U-2's earliest flights at Area 51, the US Air Force has used high-performance chase cars to guide the pilot down safely. The landing process isn't over there, though. As this video from Sploid shows, balancing out the aircraft to fit the detachable "pogos" – think training wheels for spy planes – is a comical procedure requiring a number of airman using their full body weight to even out the U-2. This video also recaps some of the great vehicles that have served as chase vehicles for this legendary spy plane. They include Chevrolet El Caminos, and the Fox-body Ford Mustangs so favored by the California Highway Patrol. For the last several years, the USAF has utilized products from General Motors, using fourth-generation Chevy Camaros, before switching over to the Pontiac GTO and most recently, the awesome Pontiac G8. It's fair to say that if you're a gearhead in the Air Force, this is the job you want. Check out the video, embedded up top.
