Up for Sale is my 2010 Roush Stage 3 Mustang, The car was previously posted by my friends at Capital Ford, it didnt sell so i guess i will take a crack at it now.. Well Ive owned the car since 2011 and it was originally delivered to Gary Yeomans Ford in Daytona Beach Florida. I think the origianl owner owned a Harley dealer..not sure though. If you dont now about these special cars i will give you a quick rundown.. They only made106 of these and only 4 Grabber Blue! Roush takes the engines down to bare block and starts over by installing a steel 6 bolt Cobra crank, Manley Rods and Mahle Pistons making the shortbock ready to handle some HP!! They also install a aluminum Flywheel and a different clutch disc as well.. then on top, the bolt on the TVS 2300 Supercharger with the dual belt feed system. The Fuel Pumps are also upgraded to the GT500 dual pump setup.

Stock this car made 550HP at the wheels, which is on the high side..During the winter months i installed BBR Billet Stage 1 Cams, 2.70" Blower Pulley, Removed the Blower and blended the case to match the new VMP ported elbow, 63.5mm Motorsport Throttle body and a JLT GT500 cold air intake. The Headers are stock, but i have a Pypes offroad X-pipe and stock GT500 Mufflers.. it sounds great!! Using a SCT Programmer, PSI performance tuned the car on the chassis dyno. The car made 629 HP at the wheels on a safe tune. also the rear has a set of 4.10 gears in it..

Ever since i owned this car, it has always shifted hard when hot.. so within the last 200 miles or so i installed a brand new Transmission and a Hurst Shifter and filled the case up with GM syncomesh (makes it shift better than the ford fluid)

The car has always been babied. Ive never raced or tracked this car and its always garage kept. If you have any questions about the car or have any offers for me, please call/text anytime

Nick 215-651-3837

Ive been a Ford Mechanic for over 20 years and all the work is done by me.. also if you need financing, i could help you out with that too!!!

I have the right to end the auction at any time

XCAR stages epic drag race between Ford GT40, GT70 and GT

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

XCAR has put together what it believes is a first - a drag race between Ford's legendary, Le Mans-winning GT40, the more recent GT supercar it inspired and the little-known GT70 rally car. The three mid-engined monsters were all built for very different purposes, and not surprisingly, they come to battle with very different powertrains.
The GT40 is powered by a thumping, naturally aspirated V8. This example, which looks like a Mark IV model, is likely powered by a 7.0-liter engine, although it's not entirely clear how much power it's putting down. The GT70, meanwhile, was Ford's response to the Lancia Stratos. Considering that the Lancia is one of the greatest rally cars in history and many of you are probably just hearing of the GT70 for the first time, you can imagine how much success Ford had with it. Only six were produced before a change in regulations doomed this mid-engined rally car.
The Ford GT, meanwhile, doesn't really need an introduction. 550 horsepower is on offer from a 5.4-liter, supercharged V8, which keeps the GT competitive even against more modern supercars. 60 miles per hour arrives in well under four seconds while the top speed sits at 212 mph. Not bad for a car that went out of production in 2006.

More 2015 Ford Mustang pricing information leaks [UPDATE]

Tue, 20 May 2014

The big news this morning was that the 2015 Ford Mustang would start at $24,425, including its destination pricing. The big news this afternoon is, well, bigger.
Mustang6G.com has come up with what it claims is pricing info for the entire Mustang line, rather than just the V6. That means we know all about the EcoBoost and GT prices now, which, when combined with the dealer order sheets we reported on last week, gives us our clearest look yet at how the Mustang can be outfitted (we're still a bit short on pricing info for some standalone options, like paint premiums and such).
The base EcoBoost starts at $25,995, while the GT rings up at $32,925.

Has the auto industry hit peak hybrid?

Thu, 12 Jun 2014

Hybrids are known for their great fuel economy and low emissions, but it looks like given current market conditions, only about three percent of new car consumers are willing to pay the premium for them. A new study from IHS/Polk finds that the hybrid market share among overall US auto sales are falling, despite more models with the technology on sale than ever before.
The study examined new car registrations in March from 2009 through 2014. In that time, the auto industry grew from 24 to 47 hybrid models available to consumers, but market share for the powertrain remained almost stagnant in that time. As of 2009, hybrids held 2.4 percent of the market; it fell slightly to 2.3 percent in 2010 and grew to 3.3 percent in 2013. However, 2014 showed a drop back to 3 percent. Overall hybrid sales have been growing since 2010, but they just aren't keeping up with the total auto market.
According to IHS/Polk, this isn't what you would expect to see. Usually, each new model in the market brings along with it a boost in sales. The growth in hybrid models 2009 to 2014 should have shown a larger increase in share for the segment.
