See the seller's listing for full details and description of any imperfections.Seller Notes:"The "defect" list for this car is quite small: It has a small chip in the paint in two areas: one is on the passenger side of the hood and one is on the driver side column. There are absolutely no scratches on the car and certainly no sun damage or fading. The car "lives" in my garage and is always waxed. I am personally responsible for the small scuff on the front right wheel.......Good thing the auction comes with another complete set of original tires and wheels."

This Shelby is as about as close to new as you can get for a used vehicle.  I ordered this car from my local dealer in Lawrence Kansas on 5-14-2009 and the car arrived on 7-7-2009.

I have pictures of the transport truck delivering the vehicle, it was a great day for me!  The car is nearly perfect and has never had a single mechanical problem or any other type of problem.  There has never been a smoker near or much less in this car.  There has never been a scratch, a dent or a door ding.  I mentioned the 2 "chips" which I assume were caused by rocks or some road debris.
I have always used Castrol synthetic oil and the filters are KN#2010.  The car comes with an additional full set of original wheels and tires from another 2010 GT-500.  I bought an additional set with the plans of widening the new set to allow 275's on the front and 325's on the rear.  That plan never happened.  3 of the tires are still in wrapping with one open just so that I could take the picture. The set includes the TPS sensors. (The tires have under 600 miles on them)
I have all of the original paperwork, the vehicle order confirmation, the original window sticker, original manuals and my service records.  I will certainly be glad to answer any questions about the car or even take a specific picture if you need one to help you decide on purchasing.
I love this car and I have since the day I drove it home.  The dealer was nice enough to follow me home and after dropping my car at the house they took me back to the dealership so that I could drive my work truck back home.   I think I sat and looked at the car for 3 hours on 7-7-09.
I have to sell and I'm not thrilled or happy about it but the government can be tough! (taxes)  Thats all I'm gonna say about that.
The bottom line is you can find a cheaper car.................     Of course it's probably had 3 or more owners and 10 hits on a carfax.
You may find less mileage..........                                             But was it some young guy with the pedal to the floor at each light?

What I'm saying is that this car has been truly loved and pampered.  It has its own garage space and has always been clean and well maintained.
I would challenge anyone to find a better 2010 GT-500 out there!   Once again, please contact me with any questions about the car or addition pictures.
I will be glad to help and assist any serious buyer.   John.

Ford F-35 Lightning II Edition Mustang appears at EAA Oshkosh

Sat, 26 Jul 2014

Ford is back at the Experimental Aircraft Association AirVenture air show in Oshkosh, WI, on July 31 auctioning off its seventh Mustang for charity, and this is one seriously mean looking 2015 'Stang. All of the money from the sale goes to give free introductory flights to young people to get them interested in aviation.
We recently saw this latest EAA Mustang as a sketch. However, it looks a whole lot more menacing in person. Dubbed the Ford F-35 Lightning II Edition Mustang, it takes liberal inspiration from Lockheed Martin's latest fighter jet, and the customization makes the pony car look ready for a role in Top Gun.
On the outside, the special Mustang wears titanium-color paint that's offset by a black and yellow stripe running from hood to rear. Out back things get really wild with a mix of bright yellow and black that flows diagonally all the way to the rear spoiler. The design is based on the livery of early production F-35s. If the rousing color scheme isn't enough to get you interested, the car also gets a carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser, lowered suspension and a set of custom 21-inch wheels with yellow brake calipers.

2015 Ford S-Max adds all-wheel drive, adaptive steering

Fri, 03 Oct 2014

The Blue Oval's 'One Ford' mantra has seen rapid commonization of the automaker's products across markets, but North America still has to look from afar at most of the company's Max-branded people movers, including this new S-Max. That's a bit of a shame - we like the space efficiency and above-average driving dynamics of the C-Max models we do get, but seeing this updated seven-seat small minivan makes us want the One Ford initiative to extend even further.
The new model's changes include an updated powertrain range including a 1.5-liter EcoBoost four with 158 horsepower, and a larger, 237-horsepower, 2.0-liter model, along with a pair of revised lower-emissions 2.0-liter diesels. The big news, however, is the advent of available all-wheel drive, something that hasn't been offered since the S-Max first went on sale back in 2006.
On the technology front, the S-Max is the first European model to receive Ford Adaptive Steering, a variable-ratio technology we recently sampled in a prototype Fusion that is expected to go into production on the next-generation Edge. The S-Max also receives a new aluminum-intensive integral link rear suspension, packaged to continue to fit up to 32 different seating combinations. Safety equipment is always a prime concern in kinschleppers like the S-Max, and to that end, this new model receives pre-collision assist technology and LED headlamps.

Martini Mustang is a 'what if moment' gone right

Wed, 23 Oct 2013

Feast your eyes on a masterpiece. This is Steve Strope's Ford Mustang in the classic fastback bodystyle, and as you'll notice, it sports the signature colors of Martini Racing, a livery that's as legendary as any Gulf Racing-styled car. But the red, white and blues of the Martini stripe down this Mustang's middle tell only a very small part of the story, in the latest video from Petrolicious.
What would you guess is under the hood? A 289-cubic-inch V8? Maybe a 302, or some absurd Ford crate engine? Maybe Strope went all Tokyo Drift - he's actually responsible for the "Hammer" Plymouth Satellite driven by Vin Diesel at the end of the movie - and found an RB26DETT to drop into the pony car? You'd be wrong on all counts.
This mad, mad man somehow finagled a Ford-Lotus engine from a 1966 Indianapolis 500 car into the Mustang's engine bay. Yes, a Mustang with an engine designed for a 160-mile-per-hour, open-wheel racecar. That's like someone in 40 years dropping McLaren's 2.4-liter V8 from the MP4-28 into a Scion FR-S. It'd just make a monster.
