This is a gorgeous head turning 2008 Mustang GT Premium Coupe, with some modifications that make it a thrill to drive. Only has 24,900 miles, automatic transmission.  Has Kenwood Xcelon DNX 6960 DVD/mp3/USB/Sirrius bluetooth navigation system.  Leather seats, everything is in excellent condition.  Staggered wheels, 19" Konig wheels, new Hankook ventus v12 tires, 275 rear and 255 front.  Has Trufiber GT-S hood, chrome grills in front, chrome side mirror covers.  Has Ford Racing intake manifold and Ford Racing wide throttle body, Steeda cold air intake with carbon fiber elbow, and 4.10 gears.  Has Brenspeed 91 octane tune with Livewire tuner (included, you can turn back to stock or try other tunes).  Has Ford Racing K springs lowering it a little but not enough to cause problems on speed bumps or anything else, and sitting on Tokico D-spec shocks that you can adjust from firm ride to softer ride depending on use.  Has Ford Racing lower control arms and Steeda adjustable upper control arm.  The body has a few specs from normal wear and use but is in excellent overall condition for a black car.  Clean title, no accidents, check the Autocheck.  There is one small ding on the top of the front bumper you can see in pic. Very well maintained, always used synthetic oil, 91 octane gas, always garaged, runs perfectly, and perfectly fast!  Will not disappoint!  Reserve price is lower than trade-in value (for the car even without any modifications!)!

Man turns Ford Fiesta into a one-car band

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

The one-man band is a rather ridiculous idea, drawing up images of one person attempting to manipulate several instruments, at once, in a vain attempt at creating music. It's usually represented by silly scenes like this. Interestingly, the concept isn't much more successful when the "man" in "one-man band" is replaced with "car," as we see in this video.
It seems that someone rigged up and edited (699 times, we might add) a Ford Fiesta, a bucket, 12 PVC pipes and the natural sounds that a car makes to come up with a song. Now, we don't recognize the tune, so we've no idea if this is a cover or an original piece. And while it's hardly Beethoven, we have to admire the amount of effort the "conductor" went to in his attempt to turn a subcompact car into a musical instrument(s). Take a look (or listen) below for the entire video.

Watch how Ford torture-tested the 2015 F-150

Wed, 09 Apr 2014

The Ford F-150 has been the best-selling truck in the United States for the past 37 years, and the best-selling vehicle outright for the past 32. That's quite a legacy, and thus, it's no surprise that Ford worked super-duper-extra hard on creating the all-new, aluminum-bodied 2015 F-150 that debuted at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
During an event at the company's headquarters in Dearborn, MI this week, we were able to see all of the ways that Ford endurance tests, not just the new F-150, but all of its vehicles. From examining things like light exposure to interior materials and paint finishes, to making sure that corrosion absolutely does not happen when steel components come in contact with aluminum panels in the new truck. The goal: ensure that the new F-150 is nothing short of "Built Ford Tough."
But that's only a small part of the story. Of course, the new F-150 has to be able to withstand whatever a pickup buyer might throw at it - and truck buyers arguably demand the most from their vehicles. So in an effort to convey just what the new F-150 had to go through before being given the final go-ahead, Ford has released a series of videos, showing how its new halo truck was indeed torture tested.

Ford Mustang GT Bi-Fuel CNG

Tue, 23 Jul 2013

Highly intrigued, we recently visited a Southern California Gas Company office to check out several hybrid vehicles promising something new. Unlike more commonplace gasoline-electric hybrids, we were there to evaluate innovative gasoline-compressed natural gas (CNG) hybrids - yes, they run on unleaded gasoline and compressed natural gas. According to the experts on hand, this arrangement delivers extended range and reduced emissions while chipping in with lower operating costs than pure-gasoline vehicles. There are advantages over its gasoline-electric counterparts, as well.
The program is part of a three-way collaboration between The Carlab, a Southern California-based automotive consulting firm, Landi Renzo USA, a company specializing in alternative fuel solutions, and America's Natural Gas Alliance, a group that promotes CNG. Long story short, the team has engineered a way to allow a modified internal combustion vehicle to seamlessly switch between two fuels (gasoline and CNG) with no driver intervention. In theory, and if it works as well as promised, it's a win-win for the vehicle owner and the environment.
Parked at the Gas Company office were six different gasoline-CNG hybrid vehicles. To demonstrate the technology's versatility (just about any gasoline vehicle may be modified) Carlab brought a varied assortment of bodystyles, each from a different automaker. After taking a quick glance at the half-dozen in the parking lot, we made a beeline for the performance-oriented Ford Mustang GT - a 2012 model - with the six-speed manual gearbox.
