My first time selling a car on Ebay!  It is a 2006 Ford Mustang V6 auto.  Just about every option, some factory some I added.  I have garaged this car for most of its highway miles driven life.  I have performed oil changes PERSONALLY EVERY 3000 Miles.  You can eat off the insides of this engine.  As an engineer changing oil is the BEST thing you can do for ANY car.  I have applied Coach Leather conditioner to the interior twice a year since I have owned it so there are no cracks in the seats.  The backseat is unused (for both seating and, well you know).  At 65 those days are well over for me.  So is smoking the tires.  Although the engine has more than enough power to do this when you turn the traction control off.  Speaking of traction is performs pretty darn good in the snow when the traction control is ON.  I was impressed from day one.

The car in general and the body are in like new and showroom condition.  A few ( 2 or 3) VERY MINOR bumper scratches but NO dents or dings ANYWHERE.  I took care of this vehicle.  It has been driven very little as the 42600 miles will confirm .  That amounts to a paltry 5500 miles a year average.  ALL original.  Replaced the front two Pirelli Zero Neros last year.  Rear tires are 60-75% original tread. One small mishap resulted in a new bumper skin replacement.  No other damage to any other component.  It could have been repaired it was so small but the insurance company replaced the whole bumper skin.  Bid with confidence at my over 2650+ positive experiences on Ebay as both buyer and seller since 1999 maintaining a constant 100% positive feedback rating.  I stand behind this vehicle and will ensure your complete satisfaction.

I have the copy of the window sticker and original dealer receipt as well.  This car looks better in person than the pictures illustrate.  I will work with a transporter of your choice and of course local pick up is also available.  I am located 25 miles from the NY/NJ border in Bergen County NJ.  I am right off 287 and 87 (New York State Thruway.)  I can give details on location via phone or email.  I am happy to discuss this vehicle with you and offer preview at mutual convenience.  I know and would like the buyer to be as happy with this vehicle as I was, (and still am).

In short this car was babied by me for its entire life.  I can guarantee you will NOT find a better 2006 Mustang out there.  Now I know purists will want the V8 and manual trans.  However this is a great car for your wife or someone who is tired of shifting.  Please email me if you need further descriptions or more pictures.  Oh yes the reason I am selling this is I have three cars and drive less and less every year being retired.  Someone out there will get a GREAT car.

Ford defends plan to shareholders: ‘We're simply reinventing the American car’

Fri, May 11 2018

Ford's top executives took heat from shareholders over their plan to do away with sedans as we know them in Ford's North American lineup, as the company held its annual meeting Thursday. Critics said the plan to shelve the Fiesta, Focus and Taurus, reduce the Focus to one crossover model, and concentrate on high-margin trucks and SUVs was a shortsighted abandonment of entire market segments of affordable vehicles. "This doesn't mean we intend to lose those customers," Ford CEO Jim Hackett said. "We want to give them what they're telling us they really want. We're simply reinventing the American car." Ford has said SUVs/crossovers and pickups will constitute 90 percent of its North American lineup by 2020. And though only the Mustang and new Focus Active will remain, it plans to add new vehicles going forward that offer better fuel economy and utility, including EVs and hybrids. Hackett characterized the shift not as an abandonment of traditional cars but as a transformation of them. "We don't want anyone to think we're leaving anything," Hackett said. "We're just moving to a modern version. This is an exciting new generation of vehicles coming from Ford." It was Hackett's first annual meeting as CEO, and for the second year it was conducted online rather than in person. The change to Ford's lineup is part of Hackett's overall plan to cut $25.2 billion in costs by the year 2022. Executive Chairman Bill Ford Jr. blamed the negative reaction to the lineup plan on media coverage. "I wish the coverage had been a little different," he said. "If you got beyond the headline, you'll see we're adding to our product lineup and by 2020 we'll have the freshest showroom in the industry. The headlines look like Ford's retreating. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth." While Ford was clear about its plans for the Blue Oval, it has been less clear about the Lincoln brand. Hackett on Thursday said only that the Lincoln Continental, re-introduced just two years ago, would continue "through its life cycle" — but it has been such a slow seller that rumor has Ford killing the Continental again after that, and Hackett made no mention of a new generation. Presumably the MKZ sedan will go away when its twin the Ford Fusion does, but although Ford has outlined end dates for other models, the Fusion's departure is open-ended. The stock price has been a frustration for investors for years and has fallen 12 percent since the first of the year.

Can an actual Ford F-150 ride on 4 Power Wheels F-150s?

Tue, Dec 9 2014

A lot of kids are rough on their toys, especially when it comes to those made to be used outside, like a four-wheeled kid-size Power Wheels. Whether it's cruising through the sand box, carrying piles of rocks in the driveway or crashing around trees in the backyard, these motorized vehicles often take punishment from the moment the giftwrap comes off. The folks at Fisher-Price decided to give their latest F-150 Power Wheels a true torture test worse than any kid could have ever managed by setting a real 2015 Ford F-150 on top of four of them. Would the little toy trucks explode in a shower of plastic shards in a massive collapse, and if not, could they drive away afterwards? The latest F-150 might be 700 pounds lighter thanks to the switch to aluminum, but it's still a fullsize pickup. According to this clip, the truck weighs in at 4,120 pounds, which puts an average of 1,030 pounds on each of the toys. Check out the video above to see how the stunt goes, and click on the gallery below for some behind-the-scenes looks at the setup.
