I am selling my 2005 supercharged V6 Mustang (manual transmission) which has only 53,350 miles on it. The only reason I am selling is because I now have an 9 month old and a coupe is not practical for transporting him on a daily basis. I have owned this car since 2006 and would not be getting rid of it had it not been for the expanding family. The car runs perfectly! Other than a few minor mars on the front bumper it has no scratches, dings or dents, and has no touch up paint applied. I get compliments on the mustang from complete strangers on a weekly basis. The mustang has been garaged at home and at my place of work since I have owned it. I wash it, wax it and clay bar it on a regular basis, in order to keep the paint in a like new condition. I also have always used fully synthetic motor oil in the engine. I just spent $500 on the AC this summer, so it once again blows ice cold air. If you come and see it you will want to buy it, it is just that perfect looking! The VIN number is 1ZVFT80N855100365.
As you can see from the pictures I have done numerous modifications to the car to enhance its looks, performance and audio quality. Here is the list along with the prices I paid after many hours of searching online for the best deal. The prices below do not include mine or any shops labor costs (installation, painting, etc). These labors charges alone would cost $1,000s extra, the tune for the supercharger alone was $400.
Performance
• Procharger Supercharger with intercooler, 11lb boost pulley and SCT hand held tuner with custom tune - $4,625
• PSI and A/F wideband gauges- $150
• Dual Gauge pillar - $140
• Aluminum drive shaft - $386
• 8.8 inch rear end with locker and 3.73 gears - $500
• Mustang GT H pipe - $80
• Mustang GT dual exhausts - $40
• Mustang GT Rear Sway bar - $50
• Royal Purple fluids in transmission and rear end - $100
• Official Ford mustang service manual on PC CD
Aesthetics
• GT/CS Front Bumper - $525
• Billet Front grille - $165
• California Dream Ram air hood (functional air flow) - $700
• Ford Racing Hood Pins - $30
• Smoked Turn signal with Xenon bulbs - $125
• Window tint - $200
• Raised White letter tires (lots of life left) - $600
Stereo
• Pioneer CD/MP3 Deck - $160
• Infinity Kappa front speakers - $88
• 700W subwoofer amp - $130
• MTX subwoofer in Mustang specific box - $350
So why buy a supercharged V6 mustang over a V8 GT?
1. More Power and speed! A stock GT has 300HP/320TQ, but that is at the crank shaft. Check out my chart, this car achieved 316HP/317TQ at the rear wheels on 9PSI of boost. Assuming a 15% loss from crank to wheels, this translates to 363HP/364TQ at the crank!!! I have since installed a 11PSI pulley so the car is likely now pushing 390HP at the crank.
2. It costs you less to buy.
3. It costs you less to insure.
4. It will get you better gas mileage.
5. It is unique!
It can be difficult to determine a fair price for a car with so much spent on aftermarket parts and customization. If you add my above costs up it comes to $9,144, which again does not include any labor for install. . . not even the supercharger. The Kelly Blue Book price for this vehicle without the aftermarket parts is $10,807 private party sale and $12,807 retail at at a dealer. Considering all of this, I am asking $14,900.
I have uploaded several pictures and have many more I can send you. Message me if you would like more information or come and check it out in person! The car is located in Lincoln NE. I can pick you up at the Lincoln Airport if you are flying in to purchase.
Sorry, I cannot offer a payment plan or financing.

2014 Ford Fiesta 1.0L EcoBoost
Fri, 09 May 2014I'll be honest; when Ford first unveiled its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, I was skeptical. Past attempts at building turbocharged American cars were almost universally awful, I reasoned, so why would Ford's latest effort be any different? This may seem foolish today, considering the success that the growing EcoBoost range has achieved - particularly the 2.0-liter and 1.6-liter mills. Yet I once again found myself questioning Ford.
It's the makeup of the 1.0-liter, turbocharged three-cylinder slotted into the compact engine bay of this Fiesta that has a way of breeding doubt. Three-cylinder engines remain an extreme rarity in the US. What's more, they earned a less-than-desirable reputation for applications in the 1980s and 1990s, and my trepidation about this latest three-pot as a result.
As I found out, though, history is a poor informant of modern technology. The thrust available in other cars with the EcoBoost badge on the back has not gone missing here; something the International Engine of the Year committee has lauded. That august body named the 1.0-liter Ecoboost the best engine of 2012 and 2013. After a week of driving, it didn't take long for my fear of threes to get turned into something like that line of thinking.
The history and future of the Ford Bronco
Tue, 17 Jun 2014
Some have suggested that the Bronco's demise was hastened by the fallout from the O.J. trial.
Twenty years ago today, ex-NFL linebacker Al "A.C." Cowlings drove his friend and onetime running back Orenthal James "O.J." Simpson on a parade lap of the Los Angeles highway system and onto an ignoble page of the history books. If you're in your late 20s or older, or a fastidious young student of 1990s American history, you're absolutely aware that Al and O.J.'s steed for the 'chase' was a white Ford Bronco. The white Ford Bronco, even.
Shelby Mustang stars with Ethan Hawke, Selena Gomez in Getaway movie
Thu, 06 Jun 2013Car movies. We keep watching them, they keep making them. Despite Fast & Furious 6 still blowing up the box office (No. 1 in theaters for the second straight week) and production on Transformers 4 being well underway (check out the Bugatti Veyron and Corvette Stingray as new cast members), there's still room on the marquee for more car movies. Next one up is an Ethan Hawke joint called Getaway, which prominently co-stars a Ford Shelby GT500. The first trailer for Getaway, which opens in theaters on August 30, was released yesterday and can be watched below.
The movie's plot centers around Hawke's character, former race car driver Brent Magna, who must somehow use this car, what appears to be a generation-old Shelby GT500 Super Snake he "commandeered," to save his wife. The movie's third co-star is Selena Gomez, whose character we're told is the owner of said Shelby. A 20-year-old having a car like this seems a bit far-fetched - especially in Europe - and on paper, this plot looks like it cribs liberally from Charlie Sheen's 1994 The Chase. But all we've got to go on is a brief plot description and the trailer below, so we'll withhold judgment until the studio firmly has our ticket money in its grasp.
The Shelby GT500 is, of course, no stranger to acting. Before this jump to celluloid, the most fearsome of all Mustang models starred in the return of Knight Rider to television on NBC back in 2008. That gig didn't pan out for the car, the show lasting only one season and 17 episodes. In fact, with its casting in Getaway, the Shelby GT500 is one of the few actors who escaped that debacle with a future in show biz.
