Car is a 2005 Mustang Gt, 5 spd manual, rare(for 2005 and previous years only) Sonic Blue. Car only has 23.xxx miles on it. Spotless carfax. I'm the second owner. I've only owned it for a year, the person I purchased it from worked for ford and bought the car new. Was always garage kept, never seen snow and hardly saw rain. I only drive it on days with 0% chance of rain.
Car is loaded with every option available when it was ordered. Has charcoal interior with leather power seats, power windows, shaker 1000 audio system with factory subwoofers/amps and 6 disc cd changer. Also has interior upgrade package that includes silver dash covers with ribbed texture, MyColor guages, etc..
Car has a few very high quality modifications. Has factory installed CDC Shaker hood scoop/ram air. CDC sequential taillights, CDC lower chin spoiler, CDC black rear decklid panel, CDC aluminum pedals, Flowmaster axleback exhaust (will include original mufflers as well), Hurst short throw shifter, American Muscle painted side mirror caps, MRT hood struts, Ford OEM 2008 Bullitt Grille, 2011 19" Brembo package wheels/with original pirelli tires, Ford Racing GT40 style push button start.
The rear spoiler was removed, but will be included, as well as an extra decklid with no holes in it that needs paint.
This car is in excellent condition, I would say a 9/10, very minor scratches/tiny chips from driving. Zero problems, as a car with only 24k should have. Car was never abused, the previous owner was an older gentleman that babied the car, and I'm the same way, never went faster than 80 on the freeway, lol.
Car looks great, and sounds great. I don't want to/or need to sell, but would like to buy a new house in the next year or so. Price is pretty firm at $17,000. If I don't get any bites this month I'll just wait till spring time. Please email for more pictures or info, everytime I add my phone number i always get too many weird trade offers or lowballers.
Thanks for looking.

Ford GT dominates Le Mans qualifying, gets slapped with performance adjustment
Fri, Jun 17 2016Fifty years after Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon drove the Ford GT40 to victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Ford is poised for a historic return to the Circuit de la Sarthe. The new Ford GT took the top two qualifying positions in the LMGTE Pro class, and four of the top five. Ferrari's 488 filled in the rest of the spots in the top seven, the first two from AF Corse. In other words, we're primed for a reboot of the classic Ford-Ferrari feud at this year's race. Or not, as the ACO, which organizes the 24 Hours of Le Mans, announced sweeping pre-race Balance of Performance (BOP) adjustments this morning that make this year's GT class anybody's race. In LMP1, last year's overall winner Porsche locked up the top two spots with the 919 Hybrid and will lead the entire field at race start. Toyota's two-car factory effort followed with qualifying times 1.004 and 2.170 seconds behind the pole lap. Audi rounds out the manufacturer-backed LMP1 class in fifth and sixth. Full qualifying results can be found here. The storyline for the GT cars is perfect - some say too perfect. Ford's class-leading times came after BOP adjustment to the Corvette Racing C7.R before qualifying. BOP is intended to level the playing field in the class by adjusting power, ballast, and fuel capacity. (Check out this explainer video for more, or even just if you love French accents.) But the process is riddled with unknowns and ripe for accusations of sandbagging. That is, if the Ford cars were intentionally slow in practice they could hope for BOP adjustment to improve their race chances. On the Corvette side, last year's GTE Pro winner went from the top of the field to the bottom, barely improving from practice to qualifying. If you think Le Mans is as rigged at the NBA Playoffs, well, it's not that simple. Because if Ford and Ferrari held back until qualifying - the eighth-place Porsche 911 RSR is three-and-a-half seconds off the class pole time - it was a pretty dumb strategy. This morning, the ACO tried to put things back in order by limiting the boost in the Ford GT's twin-turbo V6 and adding 11 pounds of ballast. Ferrari was also given extra weight but allowed more fuel capacity. The Corvette and Aston Martin teams were both given breaks on their air restrictors, which will allow their engines to make more power. Both Ford and Porsche also received extra fuel capacity.

Nearly every flavor of exotic driveline has been shoved into the ubiquitous Ford at some point or another.
Chuck Schwynoch had been patiently listening to my ramblings on the other end of the phone for a solid half hour. I'm not too big of a man to know when to ask for help, and at this point, I desperately needed some assistance. The truth is, working on a machine like a Fox Body Mustang is as easy as breathing thanks to the wealth of information available on the web. Nearly every flavor of exotic driveline has been shoved into the ubiquitous Ford at some point or another, and odds are the sorry souls behind those builds shared the highs and lows of their torment with the internet community.
1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express in Generation Gap showdown with 1933 Ford Pickup
Fri, 18 Jul 2014Auto enthusiasts love a good debate, whether it's Mustang versus Camaro or Ferrari against Lamborghini. But how about a battle between two very different vintages of classic pickup trucks? In this case, the fight is between a 1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express and a 1933 Ford Model 46 truck with a flathead V8.
The shootout comes courtesy of the internet series Generation Gap, and its concept is super-simple. One guy prefers classics, and the other likes newer rides. They choose a category, pick two vehicles and put them head to head. In this case, neither is exactly modern, though. The Ford is more than old enough to receive Social Security checks, and the Dodge is hardly a young whippersnapper.
Other than both being pickups, these two models were made to serve very different functions. The Li'l Red Express was basically the progenitor of today's muscle trucks, with a big V8 that made it one of the quickest new models in its day (admittedly, 1979 was a rough time for automotive performance). On the other hand, the '33 Ford was just meant to work, with little pretense for anything else. One of the hosts describes it as "the simplest, most difficult" vehicle he's driven because of the tricky double clutchwork necessary to shift gears. Scroll down to watch the video and try to decide which of these two American classics you would rather have in your garage.
