Beautiful 2005 mustang gt needs a new home, it's not a perfect brand new mustang and has some minor scratches and a small visible ding on the side of the car which I took a picture of.

This car was babied by me to the tee, I added the racing stripes, the GTO Kit, the black louvers. This car is super fun to drive and has the power and might to show some action on the road (not reccomended to do, to avoid speeding tickets).

My bumble bee is a looker as well as a performer, I am selling my car because it is getting to costly for me with the insurance. This vehcile is financed through ally, I am flexible with the price for a serious buyer.

According to Kelly Blue book this is the estimate value of my car:

  • Excellent

    $20,487
  • Very Good

    $19,987
  • Good

    $19,537
  • Fair

    $17,937

With that being said this car is loud and eager and is a stang slang and you will hear it from a far distance.

    Engine:
  • 4.6L V8, 24 valves, 300 hp @ 5750 rpm
  • 5 speed manual transmission
  • 17 mpg city / 25 mpg hwy

  • In Addition I have flames on my hood so when the sun is shinig on the car it lights up !
  •
GOOD LUCK BIDDING TO ALL IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS AND WOULD LIKE TO CONTACT ME PLEASE CALL MY CELL, (732)299-4701 : Liz , or contact me via email.

Muscle wins big at 2013 Amelia Island Concours as 1936 Duesenberg, 1968 Ford GT40 take top honors

    Wed, 13 Mar 2013

The 18th-annual Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance took place this past weekend, and in one of the show's biggest years yet (bringing in more than 25,000 spectators and attracting more than 300 vehicles), two powerhouses ended up winning the judges' hearts. The top Concours d'Elegance award went to a 1936 Duesenberg SJN, while the Concours de Sport went to one of the celebrated marques, a 1968 Ford GT40.
Owned by Helen and Jack Nethercutt of Sylmar, CA, this flawless Duesy is described as "one of the most powerful open cars of the 1930s," and it displays design cues of the era like rolled fenders and a tapered rear end. The SJN's supercharged straight-eight allowed it to accelerate to 100 miles per hour in just 17 seconds - surely not a disappointing feat for its day.
On a much different level of performance and timelessness, this Gulf-livery GT40 from the Rocky Mountain Auto Collection is not outdone by the elegance of the big Duesenberg thanks to some well-documented racing history. This not only includes winning at LeMans in both 1968 and 1969 - Chassis No. 1075 also managed to win a total of six times in just 11 races.

Court puts kibosh on apartheid lawsuit against Ford, Daimler

    Thu, 22 Aug 2013

Ford and Daimler have scored a major victory in a long-running lawsuit filed in US federal court by unnamed South African nationals. The suit alleges that both manufacturers and their subsidiaries sold their vehicles to the South African military, despite knowing that they'd be involved in violently putting down anti-apartheid protesters.
According to Reuters, South African plaintiffs filed the case under the 223-year-old Alien Torts Statute, a law which allows foreign nationals to file charges in US courts for perceived breaches of what was originally international law, but now more closely relates to violations of human rights.
And while the case - which also involves computer manufacturer IBM - has been tied up in federal courts for years, a recent case from the Supreme Court struck down a similar suit against Royal Dutch Petroleum (Shell), arguing that the ATS doesn't apply to corporations or to conduct if it occurred outside the US. In short, the law applies to individuals, but not corporations like Ford or Daimler. A US appeals court ruled that the conditions apply in this case, potentially drawing this long-running saga to a close, as the defendants will now be allowed to request that the case be dismissed in district court.
