My Dad bought this car new, and my stepmom put most of the miles on it. This car spent all of it's life in Central California or Arizona until I got it. The car runs and drives perfectly. It looks great! I actually really like it. There isn't anything wrong with it that I can think of. Everything works. I've spent thousands on repairs, maintenance, and upgrades. This car is 100%. It needs nothing.

Here is the list of Mods and upgrades:
American Muscle 18X9 10th Anniversary wheels with 255/40 Sumitomo tires in the front. American Muscle 18x10 10th anniversary wheels with 275/40 Sumitomo tired in the rear. GT500 steering wheel with red stitching, 2010 Mustang shifter, SR lowering springs, double adjustable panhard rod, Eibach camber bolts, New Mustang GT struts/shocks, 2007 Mustang GT front brakes, Mustang GT rear bumper cover, Pypes Exhaust duals with X pipe and 2007 Mustang GT mufflers, CDC chin spoiler, blackout tail panel, and black taillight trim. Tinted windows.BBK cold air intake, BBK 70mm throttle body, Screamin' demon coil, new plugs and wires. BAMA SCT tuner with 87, 89, and 93 octane tunes. 2002 Mustang GT hood scoop. Mustang GT front and rear anti-sway bars. 2006 "pony" grille with fog lights that work. Sequential turn signals. Pioneer CD deck, Kenwood 3 way speakers, and a 250 watt sub make up the sound.
The axle seals have just been replaced, and the rear end filled with Red Line synthetic oil. The transmission just had a service. The oil was changed at 108000 with Mobil 1 as always. I also fixed the cluster so that the gauges work. I still have most of the stock parts that came off of it. I also still have the 17 inch "Bullitt" wheels that were on it. I have a couple of time slips showing that it runs 15.41@91 in the quarter mile. Not bad for an 8 year old car with 109000+ miles on it.
This car drives as nice as it looks. It gets good fuel economy, and it gets attention.

Ken Block's 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR and CR Supercars Villain are retro done right

Wed, 05 Nov 2014

Gymkhana king Ken Block has had a pretty simple car history in his trademark videos, starting out with Subaru Impreza rally cars before moving into Ford Focus racers for the past four installments. His next video, though, Gymkhana Seven, kind of goes back in time.
Rather than the cutting-edge rally racers of past videos, Block will pilot a heavily modified 1965 Ford Mustang, called the Hoonicorn. How heavily modified is it? Well, Block's Hooligan Racing Division, ASD Motorsports and Vaughn Gittin Jr.'s RTR, spent two years working on it, ditching the standard engine and rear-wheel-drive layout and replacing it with a 410-cubic-inch Roush Yates V8. Yes, that's a NASCAR engine, and it produces 845 horsepower.
A NASCAR-powered Mustang would be news in itself, but it's the other powertrain changes made by Block and Co. that really makes headlines. Power is channeled through a one-off Sadev transmission and all-wheel-drive system, meaning that Block has basically married a NASCAR stock car with a WRC racer. ASD also developed the customized suspension, tubular chassis and roll cage. The wide Mustang body is the work of RTR and Block's own Hoonigan Racing Division, while the 18-inch fifteen52 wheels are shod in Pirelli Trofeo R tires that use a specialized compound exclusive to Block.

2014 Ford Fiesta ST

Tue, 15 Oct 2013

I'm not overly inclined to professional jealousy, as a rule. Sure, I go a bit green around the eyes when Ramsey draws the 911 GT3 trip to Weissach, Harley is tapped-in to drive a completely stunning Porsche 911 by Singer, or, you know, Drew Phillips gets to shoot a Lamborghini Veneno in the middle of a desert like some sort of sheik. I hate you guys...
Honestly though, one of the new car events that dug me the most, was when our Steven J. Ewing got to fling the Ford Fiesta ST around some hot corner of Europe. What goes around comes around, I suppose, as Mr. Ewing himself espoused an envious nature of the Focus ST trip that came before.
The good news in all this covetous intra-office behavior? All the cars mentioned, and specifically the Fiesta ST, are just wonderful to drive. I can say that with more confidence than ever now, having joined Ford for a good bit of Fiesta-flinging myself. In my case, the locale was slightly more pedestrian (Michigan not Portugal), and the car in question was the five-door version of the Fiesta ST that we get here in The States, as opposed to the three-door number they get across the pond.

Ford to ramp up Lincoln rollout in China in bid to catch rivals

Thu, Apr 12 2018

DETROIT/BEIJING — Ford Motor Co's premium Lincoln brand plans to build as many as five new vehicles in China by 2022, according to two U.S. sources, in a move to expand sales in the world's largest vehicle market that would also blunt the impact of trade U.S.-China trade spats. Ford has said it plans to build an all-new sport utility vehicle in China by the end of 2019, however the company has not detailed future production plans for the Lincoln brand in China beyond that. "Our localization plans to support the China market are on track and will serve to further drive Lincoln's growth in China," Lincoln spokeswoman Angie Kozleski said. "Beyond that, it would be premature to discuss our future product and production plans or timing." Sources familiar with Ford's production plans told Reuters the automaker now expects to begin building the new Lincoln Aviator in China in late 2019 or early 2020, along with replacements for the MKC compact crossover and the MKZ midsize sedan, followed in 2021 by the all-new Nautilus, which replaces the Lincoln MKX crossover. A fifth model, a small coupe-like crossover, is tentatively slated for production in China in 2022, the sources said. Ford has much to lose if the war of words over trade between China and U.S. President Donald Trump escalates into a full-blown tariff war. Last year, it shipped about 80,000 vehicles to China from North America, more than half of them Lincolns to support the brand's growth. All Lincoln vehicles that Ford now sells in China are brought in from North America. Even if China does reduce its 25 percent tariff on imported vehicles - as Chinese President Xi Jinping promised on Tuesday - it is not clear that would mean a big, long-term increase in Fords and Lincolns made in U.S. factories heading to Chinese showrooms. Ford is pursuing long-range plans to build more vehicles in China to serve a market that is now roughly 60 percent larger than the U.S. market, and projected to keep growing. But it is playing catch up to hometown rival General Motors Co and German luxury brands including Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, which have invested heavily in Chinese production in recent years as a form of insurance against trade, political and currency gyrations and to lower price points for their premium cars.
