Up for sale is my 2004 Ford Mustang GT Convertible, 5 Speed Manual, with only 54,000 easy original miles. I've owned the car for the last 2 years and because it is our 3rd car, I just don't have the time to drive and enjoy it.
The body and paint is in amazing shape with no dents, dings or visible scratches and in the interest of full disclosure, only has a couple of very small chips on the front bumper from road debris. I doubt you will see them in the picture they're that small. I've stored the car in my carport since I've owned the car and it shows.
The interior is in fantastic shape with no tears in the leather seats and the carpet looks great. The power top works without issue and roof material is solid with no tears or problems.
The engine is stock, runs perfectly, is not leaking anything and has a nice deep rumble from the aftermarket exhaust system. The car has a new battery, floor mats and shift knob.
If I were to keep the car, here are a couple of small issues I would address to call the car perfect. The brake rotors look aged, cosmetically they bother me, mechanically they are fine and passed inspection with no problem. Also I noticed a spot on the windshield where it looks like a rock hit, it is not a star, nor does it appear in the drivers view and has not spread. Just being honest for those that are as picky as I am.
Honestly the car is in excellent shape and if you're in the market for a really nice convertible Mustang, you will not be disappointed. The car has a clean title as well. I have the car advertised locally and reserve the right to end the auction early, unless the reserve has been met. If you are local, I'll be happy to meet with you so that you can check out the car personally.
Thanks for looking!

Ford EcoSport Storm concept swallows a Raptor in Sao Paulo
Sun, 02 Nov 2014Ford rolled into the Sao Paulo Motor Show with some pretty cool crossovers in tow, the awesomest of all being the EcoSport Storm concept shown above, which draws its inspiration directly from the F-150 SVT Raptor. It packs a lower grille clearly derived from the now-famous muscle truck, as well as a Blue Storm paint job, black and silver trim, special graphics, lower body cladding and 215/75 R15 off-road tires. Don't go holding your breath for a supercharged V8, though; made locally in Brazil, India and Thailand, the tiny EcoSport is typically powered by a three- or four-cylinder engine.
The Storm isn't the only specially prepared Ecosport on show, however, joined as it is by another pair called Beauty and the Beast. Beauty is decked out in matte copper with a black roof, LED fog lamps, 18-inch wheels with low-profile tires and an interior complete with four individual bucket seats, leather upholstery and a full multimedia suite. The Beast, meanwhile, takes a sportier approach with a white pearl finish, blue and orange trim and three-bar grille. It also wears 18-inch wheels and LED fog lamps, but its interior swaps out its rear seats for a bike rack.
Joining the EcoSport show cars was an Edge crossover equipped with all the latest technologies and done up in bright red with three-bar grille, bulging hood, and an interior featuring 10-inch touchscreens and leather upholstery. Feel free to read more in the press release below.
2015 Ford F-150 shaves 700 pounds, adds 2.7-liter EcoBoost [w/video]
Mon, 13 Jan 2014The Ford F-150 is one of the best selling vehicles on the planet. Considering that, one can imagine that when it comes time for a redesign, there are hardly any half measures. For its lucky thirteenth generation, Ford has gone all-in on the single most important vehicle in its portfolio, redesigning it from the ground up.
The big news is the F-150's new, lightweight, Atlas-inspired body. Ninety-three percent of that new body is made from a sort of aluminum alloy not unlike what the US military uses in its M2 Bradley fighting vehicles and Humvees, and it accounts for up to 70 percent of the F-150's 700-pound weight reduction. As a side benefit, the aluminum body should prove more resistant to dents and dings. Built Ford tough, indeed.
If you're wondering where the other 30 percent of that 700-pound weight loss went, 8.5 percent (60 pounds) came from the increased use of high-strength steel (up from 23 percent to 77 percent) in its ladder-box frame. Ford claims this steel is comparable to some of the heavy duty pickups used by its competitors, with a PSI rating of 70,000.
2015 Ford Mustang GT [w/video]
Fri, 19 Sep 2014At 50 years old, the object of fantasies, a tuner's dream, a movie star and more than nine million strong, it couldn't be truer to say that the Ford Mustang needs no introduction. This newest Mustang, however - making the biggest changes we've seen to the pony car since perhaps 1964.5 - is something Ford has been introducing all year.
We went on a Deep Dive, covered the way it looks when it was revealed, detailed the engine specs, got a ride in the EcoBoost and listened to the V8, got rolling footage and watched it do a standard-feature burnout.
The only thing left to do? Drive it. Having now done so for a few hours around Los Angeles, what we can tell you is to forget everything you know about the Mustang. This new car shames the old, redefines the model and gallops far ahead of anything else in the segment.
