The time has come to sell my 2003 mustang cobra. I have had this car since January 2011 during that time I have added a lot of upgraded parts to the car. there still is a loan on the car and it will not be released to the new owner  until funds have cleared my bank. I reserve the right to remove this listing early due to other adds. this car is sold as is where is with no warranties. The title shows that it has been in an accident in 2009. I was told by the dealership that it was backed into in the parking lot damaging the drivers fender. It has been replaced with oem parts and the whole front was repainted making this car look like a low mileage car. There are a few flaws on the car. Nothing major only a small rock dent on lower drivers door, scratch(shown in pic) on rear passenger fender and a few rock chips on front. on to the performance parts

The engine has been fully rebuilt at 76k miles using the stock crank, rods, and pistons. New clevite bearing rods and main caps, total seal file fit piston rings, fel-pro head gaskets, mmr high volume oil pump, arp head studs and main cap studs. Valve covers have been powder coated dark shadow grey along with the steggy stage 5 blower being done in grey as well. head cooling mod, Egr delete, bbk 65mm throttle body, steeda cai, mafia, kenne bell bap, #4 lower crank pulley, 3.20 alternator pulley, 2.80 upper pulley, car makes 17-18psi boost, Hilton 24 pound over lay all new idler pulleys.

Exhaust system consist of mac long tube headers ceramic coated black, stage 8 locking header bolts, lethal off road x pipe to borla stinger cat back.

Exterior headlights and tail lights have smoke film that is easily removable. all emblems on car have been removed, painted satin black and re installed on car

Im sure im forgetting things that have been done to the car. It is currently running on email tunes and it would be a good idea to get it dyno tuned. also it has an innovate mtx-l a/f gauge that needs a new sensor. these are the only known problems with the car.

Deposit is required with in 2 days of $1,000 and total due with in 10 days. Must pick up car on a day bank is open to get title released.

2016 Ford Police Interceptor Utility shows up for duty in Chicago

Fri, Feb 13 2015

The latest upgrade for the 2016 Ford Police Interceptor Utility is all set to patrol the Windy City's streets with its debut at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show. On the outside, the revised Ford police vehicle looks basically the same as the recently refreshed Explorer with a new grille and redesigned headlights. Inside, there's a restyled steering wheel and center console. Unlike the civilian model, though, the PI Utility gets heavy-duty brakes, a more robust cooling system, reinforced subframe mounts and larger diameter suspension springs for more strength. Under the hood, police forces get to choose between either a 3.7-liter V6 with 304 horsepower and 279 pound-feet of torque or a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 with 365 hp and 350 lb-ft of twist. Regardless of powertrain, these 'utes feature a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The transmission includes the awesome-sounding Pursuit Mode feature that switches over to more aggressive shifts when it detects harder driving to properly stop crime. Related Video:

Martini Mustang is a 'what if moment' gone right

Wed, 23 Oct 2013

Feast your eyes on a masterpiece. This is Steve Strope's Ford Mustang in the classic fastback bodystyle, and as you'll notice, it sports the signature colors of Martini Racing, a livery that's as legendary as any Gulf Racing-styled car. But the red, white and blues of the Martini stripe down this Mustang's middle tell only a very small part of the story, in the latest video from Petrolicious.
What would you guess is under the hood? A 289-cubic-inch V8? Maybe a 302, or some absurd Ford crate engine? Maybe Strope went all Tokyo Drift - he's actually responsible for the "Hammer" Plymouth Satellite driven by Vin Diesel at the end of the movie - and found an RB26DETT to drop into the pony car? You'd be wrong on all counts.
This mad, mad man somehow finagled a Ford-Lotus engine from a 1966 Indianapolis 500 car into the Mustang's engine bay. Yes, a Mustang with an engine designed for a 160-mile-per-hour, open-wheel racecar. That's like someone in 40 years dropping McLaren's 2.4-liter V8 from the MP4-28 into a Scion FR-S. It'd just make a monster.
