2003 DSG Cobra, 54k miles, stock pulley and tune.
For the most part this is a beautiful example of a 2003 Mustang Cobra. I've not seen too many Cobra's like this that are as stock as this one, but yet has tasteful modifications done to it. You will not be disappointed. A list of what modifications are done are below.
Mods -
Magnaflow catback,
Eibachs, sport kit. I didn‘t think it lowered the rear enough, so I cut the stock rear spring a coil. I still have the original front coil and the uncut Eibach
GMS cold air
Kenny Brown weld in sub frames
Moto Blue rear dif brace
Steeda front dif bushings
Triax shifter
Centerforce dual friction clutch with new ford flywheel
Adjustable clutch quadrant
TSW volcano chrome 19x8 19x9 1/2, 1/2 ” hub centric wheel spacers and studs on back. I still have the stock wheels that will go with car, plus when I bought the rims, I bought a spare front and spare rear wheel that go with it.
I had the hood and rear bumper cover repainted due to chips. Since then, the rear bumper has a slight scuff on the lower portion of the passenger side. You can see a light tan spot in one of the pictures.
Mechanical issues, no. My to do list on car was new floor mats, hood insulation, and someday brakes. But that’s because I started doing car shows with it.
I bought the car in August, 2005, I bought with 21k miles, and used as a daily driver for a year and put 20k miles on it in a year. If it rained, I drove it, but since I've owned its, its been in garage. After that first year, it was a nice weather car. And I've only put 13k miles on it since 2006.
I have a free and clear title in my name. I would prefer buyer meets me at bank to transfer funds, but will work with buyer. I can easily pick someone up from the local airport, or if needing shipped, I will work with the buyer, but buyer is responsible for all shipping. Will not ship out of country. And no, I don't want to trade for anything. If car does not sell via ebay, I will entertain offers, but not till auction is over. Thanks, Andrew.

Ford profiles surprisingly affluent Focus ST buyers
Fri, 08 Nov 2013It comes as no surprise when Ford says that 32-percent of Focus ST buyers are under 35, but we weren't expecting this: the average annual salary of Focus ST buyers is $127,000. Twenty-two percent of non-ST Focus buyers are under 35, while their average annual salary is $67,000.
We like the Focus ST because it has 252 horsepower, is genuinely fun to drive and offers great value for performance-minded car enthusiasts; facts that are not lost on customers, it seems. Ford says that the Focus ST has the highest percentage of conquest sales for a non-hybrid model it sells, and that the top-four trade-ins are from Honda, Chevrolet, Mazda and Toyota. Demand for the hot Focus is strongest in Los Angeles, Detroit, Houston and Orlando.
"[The Focus ST is] having this kind of halo effect for other vehicles we'd hoped for when we invested in the ST brand," says John Felice, vice president of US marketing, sales and service, because it's helping to boost sales of other Ford vehicles.
Ford predicts it will finish 2013 as top-selling US brand
Mon, 30 Dec 2013Ford is ready to call the ball on its 2013 sales totals, predicting a first-place finish for units sold in the US for a single brand. The company anticipates selling more than 2.4 million vehicles when all vehicle sales over the last 12 months have been tallied, repeating the victory it trumpeted over Toyota last year.
According to Ford's accounting, it sold 329,677 more vehicles than did Toyota in 2012. This year, the Blue Oval expects that margin to grow; through the end of November, Ford says it has outsold Toyota by 396,041 units.
Retail sales of Ford products are projected to exceed 1.7 million units for 2013 (the best retail result in 6 years for the company), with passenger cars accounting for 600k of that total. The redesigned Fusion is expected to crest the 290k mark, and the Fiesta is said to be ready to hit a model-record of 70k-plus. Meanwhile, utility vehicles and trucks are still paying a lot of bills in Dearborn, with the new Escape racking up an expected 300k sales and F-Series trucks chugging along at 688,810 units sold thru November.
Is that the Ford GT Le Mans racer in the background of this Forza video?
Mon, Jan 26 2015Shortly after the reveal of the new Ford GT in Detroit a couple of weeks ago, Microsoft announced that it was putting the new American supercar on the cover of the upcoming sixth installment of the Forza Motorsport video game series. Now it has put out a video of the process of digitizing Dearborn's latest. Whether you're into Detroit steel (or carbon fiber and aluminum in this case), exotic supercars or video games, the video is worth a watch in and of itself. But our eyes were focused on something else. In the background of one shot (around the 1:49 mark) you can see a design board with renderings of what looks to be the rumored racing version of the GT – complete with reshaped air intakes, deeper side sills, a bigger rear wing and a central rear fin like you'd find on the latest LMP1 racing prototypes. It wouldn't be the first time we've caught wind of the prospect of the Blue Oval's new supercar going racing. We first heard of the plans last October, further reinforced in December with reports of the new GT coming to Detroit. And as we reported just a couple of weeks ago following the supercar's reveal, a return to Le Mans could be in the cards – which would be fortuitous timing, since next year will mark the 50th anniversary of the original GT40 scoring its landmark 1-2-3 finish in the 24-hour race.
