Up for sale is my 2003 Ford Mustang GT. Just over 70,000 miles on it, runs great. Has 5 speed manual transmission and 4.6L V8. Very fun to drive, and gets decent gas mileage. All fluids have been changed in the past year, (motor oil, transmission fluid, differential oil, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and coolant). Many new parts installed as well, including: new NGK spark plugs, new Accel ignition coils, 4 new Tokico shocks, new KYB quad shocks, new brakes and rotors, new water pump, new Ford Racing intake manifold, new cooling hoses, new serpentine belt & belt tensioner, new o-rings on the fuel injectors, new fuel filter, 4 new oxygen sensors, new seals and bearings in the rear axle, and much more (also all done within this past year). This car rumbles to life inhaling through a K&N cold air intake, and exhaling through a BBK catted X-pipe with a Magnaflow catback exhaust, (has no problem passing yearly inspection). Has that signature Mustang sound, without being obnoxiously loud. Has many upgraded parts such as: HID headlights, 17" black and polished bullitt style wheels, billet interior pieces, lowering springs, Mach 1 lower front spoiler, has auxiliary connectivity for phone/iPod, and more. Car is clean inside and out, has no trouble code lights on. Furthermore, this car has a few factory options such as the Mach 460 stereo, security alarm, traction control, fog lights, power driver's seat, and stainless foot pedals.

This Mustang is mechanic owned and extremely well taken care of. Very reliable, ready to go 100,000+ more miles. Was involved in a small collision/sideswipe with a highway barrier back in 2009, and because of this has a branded title. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this car, don't let the title discourage you. It is currently my daily driver here in Yorktown Heights, New York. Has already been through both New York an Massachusetts auto-salvage inspection, so there will be no extra, unnecessary DMV processes and hassles for future owners registering this car in either of these states. No different than registering any other car. Comes with NY title. This car's clean other than a few minor paint defects.

You can contact me, Andrew, at 914-582-9680 and I can tell you more about the car if you are interested. Thanks for looking!

2014 Ford Transit Connect configurator fires up for the whole family

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

The second-generation Ford Transit Connect is almost upon us, and to get work- and family-oriented customers ready for the new model, Ford has launched a configurator for both van and wagon versions. Both body styles will go on sale early next year with the base TC Van starting at $22,000, but customers wanting side windows and rear seats will have to pony up at least an extra $3,000 for the TC Wagon.
Ford is definitely looking to get back into the family van business with the 2014 TC Wagon offering three available trim levels, two engines and the choice between five- and seven-passenger seating (with two wheelbases). Like many recent Ford products, a fancy Titanium trim level is offered, and opting for it will cost you - this trim starts at $29,000, and we were able to spec it out with a panoramic roof, tow package and front and rear parking sensors for a little over $33,000.
Businesses looking for a small, fuel-efficient work vehicle now get more options on the TC Van like the choice of split, hinged rear doors or a liftgate (with or without glass), a long wheelbase ($1,000) and Ford's CrewChief vehicle tracking system ($925). Fully loaded, this van is still costs less than the fullsize E-Series. On both Van and Wagon, the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine is a $795 option, but it is only offered on short-wheelbase models and Ford has yet to release power or fuel economy specs yet. With the standard 2.5-liter engine, the TC will get up to 21 miles per gallon in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.

Ford demonstrates Mustang's new Line Lock burnout feature

Tue, 22 Apr 2014

Been saving your pennies for a 2015 Ford Mustang? Put in a few extra shifts or some overtime? Got a great down payment ready? Well, however much you saved for your new pony car, start saving more - you'll need the extra money to spend on tires.
That's because the Mustang will come with a system called Line Lock, which can lock the front brakes electronically, allowing drivers to perform big, dumb, smoky burnouts without moving so much as an inch. It's sort of like launch control, only the average driver might actually use it.
Now, line locks aren't uncommon, particularly in drag racing. Usually, a flip of the switch locks the front brakes. The Mustang, besides offering the system from the factory which is unique in and of itself, looks a bit more involved.
