Nice Mustang. 2nd owner. Low mileage for a 2000. Custom black on yellow paint, original color is yellow with the Spring Feature GT hood and rear bumper graphics. Now has Roush front bumper cover. Short throw shifter with yellow shift knob. Superchip, k&n cold air intake. 70mm throttle body and upper intake elbow. 4:10 rear gears. cobra racing clutch new 3 years ago. Previous owner ditched the SF rims for the black rims. Paint does need a little touch up. Drivers side door control panel is off ( normal for this model Mustang). Needs Plastic Cowl panel. Roush front bumper cover added before paint. Also needs trim piece behind front drivers side tire. Trunk pieces are out of the car at the moment but are included. Underside has the YMR Mirrored panel. Also have the Bullitt side scoop deletes. Any questions ask away. there is a reserve on this car. Jerry Seinfeld doesn't love Sarah Jessica Parker's new Country Squire in latest CiCGC
Fri, 20 Jun 2014Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee has finally returned for its fourth season of combining Jerry Seinfeld, a miscellaneous celebrity and a cup of java. But rather than fondly remembering some older piece of automotive machinery, this time around, Seinfeld is utterly unable to keep his hatred of Sarah Jessica Parker's 1976 Ford LTD Country Squire from coming out to hilarious effect.
However, Parker has such a high level of infectious enthusiasm for her recently purchased Country Squire that she seems to win over Seinfeld by the end - at least a little bit. For most of their time together, the two of them drive around Manhattan and the suburbs waxing nostalgic about what things were like when these wagons were ubiquitous.
Since this is actually SJP's car, she and Seinfeld trade off driving duties, and the image above should give you some indication of Seinfeld's reaction to the Sex and the City star behind the wheel. It seems this '70s land yacht might be a little too much for her to handle in New York traffic. Regardless, she is absolutely in love with her Ford.
Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.
Ford recalls 1.9m cars and crossovers for defective airbags
Wed, Jun 1 2016The Basics: Ford is recalling a total of 1,898,728 vehicles to replace defective Takata front passenger-side airbags. This includes the 2007-2010 Ford Edge, 2006-2011 Ford Fusion, 2005-2011 Ford Mustang, 2007-2011 Ford Ranger, 2007-2010 Lincoln MKX and 2006-2011 Lincoln MKZ, Zephyr and Mercury Milan vehicles built in North America. The Problem: The defective airbags have been linked to ruptures that can send metal fragments at the passenger, due to deteriorating propellant. Injuries/Deaths: Ford claims it's not aware of any injuries due to the problem, but rupturing Takata airbags have been linked to a series of serious injuries and deaths. The Fix: Dealers will replace the passenger-side frontal airbag at no charge to the customer. If you own one: Look out for a letter from the manufacturer to arrange service at your local dealer.
