I have for sale my 1996 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra . It is a Mystic Edition Cobra with only 12,200 miles , one of only 2000 produced by Ford Motor Company . The paint changes colors from an emerald green , purple , brown to almost black . It is pretty amazing to walk around it and see the multitude of colors that it produces . As stated the vehicle has very few miles and is overall in excellent condition . The body is dent free , the paint is not scratched or chipped anywhere , the interior is like new , it even smells new . I realize that this is rare for a vehicle that is over 17 years old but I am not misrepresenting it . It truly is in near new condition . It is fast , it is loud , and an absolute thrill to drive . It is also quite comfortable to drive . The leather seats are very comfortable and soft , plush is a good word . It handles like a dream and really sticks to the road . It is a Hot Rod ! The vehicle does have some tasteful upgrades that have been made to the performance and appearance of the vehicle . They are not radical and they complement the car quite well . The upgrades are as follows :
On Aug-13-13 at 16:47:05 PDT, seller added the following information:
I would like to add that I am the Third owner of the vehicle . E Bay supplied the Auto Check report as part of the add .The report was not something I personally added .It was added by default . The report only shows registration to the year 2000 . I have owned the vehicle since February of 2013 . It was registered to an owner in OK. for three years prior to me purchasing it and to the owner in VA. prior to that . I viewed a complete report before I purchased it . As I did not add the report , I do not know how to update it . The VIN # is correct and you are welcome to run any reports that you may like . The report I viewed showed to have no issues since it was purchased in 1996 .

Auto investor Kirk Kerkorian dead at 98
Wed, Jun 17 2015Kirk Kerkorian, among the most talked-about investors in the American auto industry in recent memory, died at the age of 98 in Los Angeles on Monday, June 15. The billionaire ran the investment company Tracinda Corp. and was the largest shareholder in MGM Resorts International. Kerkorian attempted to use his power as a well-financed investor to push the auto industry in some fascinating ways. In 2006, he used his nearly 10-percent stake in General Motors to push a merger with the Renault-Nissan Alliance. The deal made it as far as discussions, but eventually fell through. Kerkorian also attempted to purchase Chrysler - twice. According to Automotive News, the first effort came in 1995 with a $22.8-billion offer for the automaker, and soon after it failed the company merged with Daimler. Then in 2007, Kerkorian was back with a bid for $4.5 billion, but things eventually fell to Cerberus. The billionaire finished the trifecta by buying up $1 billion in Ford stock in 2008 to make Kerkorian the single largest investor in the company. However, the situation didn't last long, and by the end of that year, he had unloaded the shares. According to Automotive News, Kerkorian was ranked by Forbes as the world's 41st richest man in 2008 with a net worth of $16 billion. 2015 Ford F-150 gets Power Wheels treatment [w/video]
Thu, 26 Jun 2014With the introduction of its forthcoming 2015 F-150, Ford is breaking with convention by shifting from steel-intensive construction to aluminum. But what if it weren't made of metal altogether? What if it were made of plastic instead, and packed an electric motor instead of an internal-combustion engine?
Feast your eyes, boys and girls, on the new Power Wheels F-150. Built by Fisher-Price and licensed by Ford, the third-generation ride-on toy started development nine months before the full-size version debuted at the Detroit Auto Show this past January, and is hitting sidewalks and driveways across the country this September.
The Power Wheels F-150 carries a sticker price of $349.99, and there's a special version at Toys R Us with LED headlamps (just like the real F-150) for an extra $10.
What next for Alan Mulally?
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Alan Mulally has emerged as a hero when it comes to American manufacturing. He came to Ford in 2006 after serving as head of Boeing's commercial aircraft division, streamlined operations, sold off the costly elements of its Premier Automotive Group and saved Ford from having to be bailed out by the federal government like its cross-town rivals Chrysler and General Motors did. But as we reported mere days ago, he's widely expected to step down from the chief executive's office at Ford shortly.
So what's next for one of the most successful executives in the business? Hard to say, but don't expect Mulally to disappear into retirement. Though he didn't ultimately take the top job at Microsoft, industry insiders expect to see him in another influential position - likely as a board director or even chairman of another company. (We say "another company" and not Ford because while Bill Ford may have stepped aside as CEO to bring Mulally on board in the first place, we don't see him giving up his chairmanship of the board also.)
Mulally has likely already lined up his next move, and could either announce what that move will be as soon as Ford confirms Mark Fields as his successor, or could wait awhile. Insiders speculate that he could leverage his transportation and aerospace experience into a position at General Electric or a major airline, his manufacturing expertise to benefit a company like Procter & Gamble or his management skills at a consultancy firm.
