Top condition low mileage GT convertible 5-speed in the best color combination made that year. Non-smoker and mature adult owned. I searched for almost a year to find a 94/95 in this condition, the last of the 5.0 Mustangs prior to just recently. I purchased this car on E-Bay in April 2008 and have logged 3,800 miles in the past five years. Garage kept under cover by me and previous owner, it only comes out in good weather. Previous owner was mature IBM engineer who bought it in 2002 and only put 6,000 miles on it. I drove it to VA from NY in 2008. So in the past 11 years the car has been stored, babied and driven 10,000 miles. Modifications made by previous owner include MagnaFlow exhaust, short throw shifter, 17" Cobra wheels and Goodyear Eagle tires, cold air intake, Livewire distributor wires, cobra style white gauges, cobra floor mats, and Classic Styling Roll-type bar. I have made no changes to the car except for replacing the battery. Car overall a 9 out of 10, everything works and it runs and sounds great. Tan leather interior in great shape. Put car up on lift when bought and the undercarraige looked nice. Original top has very small rubs on each side where it goes down into car, and passenger rear window motor is slow but works fine. Ford tops mid-year ranking of brands in the US
Thu, 18 Jul 2013YouGov's mid-year Brand Index rankings of America's best perceived brands has been released, and Ford has found its way to the top. The Dearborn, Michigan based manufacturer beat out online shopping giant Amazon, The History Channel, and home improvement superstore Lowe's, to take the top spot.
Ford jumped from sixth overall in 2012 to first for 2013, but those that have been watching these rankings shouldn't be hugely surprised. Ford was rated the best perceived automotive manufacturer by the same organization last year. The Blue Oval's success on the overall brand rankings is made all the more impressive by the complete lack of other automakers on the list.
YouGov (that is, survey respondents) cited Ford's first quarter of 2013 business, which saw an increase in market share and the best earnings recorded in over 10 years. Successfully launching the Focus and Fusion (pictured) and keeping them fresh in the minds of consumers has also contributed to Ford's best overall score.

Ford, Renault have surprises in store for Le Mans
Tue, Jun 9 2015All those prototype and GT racers won't be the only attraction catching our eye at the 24 Hours of Le Mans this weekend. Two major automakers have also confirmed that they've got new metal to unveil. And while they're not saying exactly what they'll be, we've got some pretty good ideas. First up is Ford, which has announced a "major Ford Performance news announcement" on Friday. Chairman Bill Ford, CEO Mark Fields, and product development chief Raj Nair will be on hand for the announcement set to take place on Friday at 10:00 AM Eastern. The Blue Oval isn't saying just what it has in store, but the widespread speculation has been that it will present a racing version of the new Ford GT at Le Mans a good half century since the original GT40 raced there. Meanwhile, Renault has announced that it is marking the 60th anniversary of the Alpine marque at Le Mans this Saturday. The French automaker has been working on reviving the dormant marque, and looks poised to finally reveal its new sports car at its iconic home endurance race this weekend. Tipped to be called the Alpine AS1, the new sports car will bring the marque back out of retirement in a more real way than the ELMS-winning LMP2 prototype ever could. Expect it to be based on the mid-engined chassis underpinning the Renault RS 01 spec racer, but built for the road.
