Since ive had it ive replaced the fuel pump, computer, alternator, head liner, fuel injectors, and the headlight covers. It had cosmetic damage when i bought it (pictured) from the previous owner hitting a pole. Has an aftermarket stereo but ive never rewired the speakers. Heat and AC both work although AC might need a little charge.. No major mechanical problems other then a few issues. The fuel gauge floater needs to be reset, needs a neutral safety switch, and the odometer stopped working a few weeks ago. As i said its my daily driver and only drive it 10-15 miles per day and gets me from A to B. Ive kept regular maintenance since ive had it (oil changes, spark plugs etc etc.) Would make a good starter car or a fixer upper. Transmission doesnt slip and engine doesnt knock Most of what the car needs is cosmetic interior and exterior. . I have a clean title in hand."

In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Senior Editor, Green, John Beltz Snyder and Assistant Editor Zac Palmer. Our editors cover a lot this week, starting with the news. They geek out over the Audi RS6 Avant coming to America, and mourn the loss of the Lincoln Continental. They address rumors of the Toyota Land Cruiser's demise, and analyze spy photos of the Ford Mach E electric crossover. They also honor the memory of the godfather of spy photography, Jim Dunne. Finally, they talk about driving the BMW Z4, Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, and another diesel, the diesel-powered Mazda CX-5 Skyactiv-D. Livestream: Ricardo Innovation & Sustainability Symposium 2015

Thu, Mar 19 2015

Making decisions on how to invest billions of dollars in future technology is scary even if you're developing something as simple as a smartphone. But when you've got to invest that money in something as complex as a car – one that might drive itself, or operate just on electricity, or even possibly be crash-proof – that task becomes daunting. Today, at 9:00AM, a slate of auto industry leaders are gathering at automotive supplier Ricardo to celebrate the company's 100-year anniversary by looking toward the future. Moderated by Autoblog Editor-in-Chief Sharon Carty, the panel will talk about Ford's vision for the future, look at battery development, environmental issues, and may even debate the future of flying cars. Maybe. If you're interested in following along, take a look at the livestream. Government/Legal Green Ford Technology Emerging Technologies Videos ricardo Sakti3

2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid recalled over lack of roof padding

Mon, 29 Jul 2013

Ford is recalling 33,021 units of its 2013 C-Max Hybrid not equipped with optional panoramic roof panels. During testing, the model in question returned testing results for occupant head injuries that fell outside of criteria laid out in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. The issue puts occupants at greater risk of injury in the event of a crash if they are in an affected car.
The recall will begin August 19, at which time C-Max Hybrid owners can take their cars to dealers to have energy-absorbent material installed between the headliner and roof. The bulletin below from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has more information.
