1993 Ford Mustang Convertible Lx 5.0 Feature Car on 2040-cars
Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States
Up for auction is a 1993 FORD MUSTANG LX 5.0 convertible TRIPLE WHITE FEATURE CAR. The car is a limited production of 1500 units. Car is a totally stock unmolested survivor. I am the second owner. I purchased the car in 1995 with only 14k miles on the odometer and it only has a mere 34k miles on it now. It is a MCA silver awarded car plus numerous other mustang show awards and various cruise ins, which is really the only time the car is driven is to shows and the occasional sunny day drive. I have the original window sticker and the feature car floor mats that came from the factory with this package and the convertible top boot. The car runs and drives as new and everything works as it should and the A/C blows ice cold. Having 34k miles and being driven to shows and not trailered it has its tiny stone chips hear and there but none noticeable enough to spot standing looking at or to be marked off for at a judged show. Car is also featured in the fox body
recognition guide. The author took pics of it at a national show and said it was a prime example of a clean stock feature car. Any questions or for certain pics contact me at (260) 750 5012. thanks for looking. *** Deposit of 500.00 within 24 hours Via Paypal *** |

2013 Shelby 1000 unleashes its 1,200 horsepower ahead of NY show reveal
Fri, 22 Mar 2013True story: Last fall, I had the opportunity to spend a week with Ford's new 2013 Shelby GT500 - the Blue Oval's factory Mustang with 662 horsepower and 631 pound-feet of torque. It's an amazing beast, to be sure. I'm not sure if it was Michigan's damp streets strewn with potholes and wet leaves, but at no point did I ever say to myself, "You know, Ford is on to a really good thing here, but what it really needs is about twice the power." And yet, for people in warmer climes with infrastructure in better nick - or for those whose muscle cars live their lives out on the track, there's apparently sufficient demand to warrant just such a beast.
Quick studies will recall that Shelby American launched its 1000 last year to commemorate its 50th anniversary, but it is returning to the New York Auto Show with a fresh version based on the 2013 GT500 I drove. The 2013 Shelby 1000 whips up 1,200 horsepower on pump gas thanks to beefed-up forced induction, engine internals and cooling. Wisely, it also incorporates an adjustable suspension and big brake package to make sure those ponies have the best chance being safely deployed to the ground.
What price the world's most powerful "production" muscle car? $154,995 for starters - donor GT500 not included. What, no convertible variant?
Petrolicious pays visit to tuning sensation the Ringbrothers
Fri, 08 Nov 2013We caught up with a few projects from Ringbrothers at SEMA this year: a classic Ford Mustang body rendered in carbon fiber, and a De Tomaso Pantera-based concept that made us swoon.
It's with good timing then, that our friends at Petrolicious have uploaded their newest, well-crafted mini-documentary to the expansive airwaves of the Internet. Here, we meet the brothers Ring in person - Mike and Jim - and see how they've lent they're passion for craftsmanship to their business, along with their surname. A 1964 Ford Fairlane dubbed "Afterburner" and a 1965 Mustang called "Producer" star in this show.
