Up for bids is a really clean 1992 Mustang GT, with the 5.0 motor. 5-speed. This vehicle comes with the black interior that is immaculate, no tears in the seats, no fading, and also No Fox lean, the power lumbar works as it should. the only thing that does NOT work as it should on the interior is the ashtray door, this is very common on these cars. The car does have an after market stereo which is a JVC head unit that works great. i do have the factrory cassete player and factory amp if interested. The vehicle does have tinted windows which give it a nice clean look. This Mustang is rare as it came from the factory with NO Rear Defrost, its a rear defrost Delete car, when was the last time you saw a back window on a GT with NO lines, it looks real nice and clean with the tint. The previous owner did remove the fog lights Not sure why, all the wiring is there to connect new ones, they are fairly inexpensive to buy. The Vehicle has 85,000 original miles, only a few tasteful mods have been done to it, starting with the motor it has a Authentic cobra upper and lower intake, mated to a 65mm throtle body and a matching mass air meter. it does have headers, which kind i can't tell, other than that the motor is original, The A/C does blow out cold air. And it still has the factory cats on it. Now the frame does have frame connectors on it to stiffen it up. It does also have a 3.73 geras in rear end. Now for the Body, all panels are correct all tags are present it does not have any accidents, and NO RUST,,the previous owner recleared the whole car and added a little metal flake to give it that one off look that these fox body's needed to there flat paint, this metal flake can really be seen in the sun and it is subtle at night. All gauges work as they should. door locks and windows all work. The rear hatch does need springs they are original and tired. You cannot find a clean foxbody up north here for what im asking for this, only reason for selling is i bought a coupe that ive always wanted. Bid with confidence this car is a great cruiser or a platform to turn into a nice track car. By NO means is this a SHOW CAR, it does have its share of dings dents and scratches, if you have any questions please text or call 1-216-403-9015, it is for sale locally and at this price i dont see it lasting. I do require a 500.00 NON refundable deposit at end of auction and the remainder paid in cash at delivery or thru Bank transfer, before delivery. There is NO warranty on this vehicle.

We compare 2021 Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport specifications to their ritzy Land Rover competiton
Tue, Jul 14 2020The 2021 Bronco and Bronco Sport are the spearheads for Ford's new 4x4 sub-brand, with the former taking the fight directly to the Jeep Wrangler and the latter providing Ford with a more rugged alternative to the Escape. We've already looked at how the new Bronco and Bronco Sport compare to their mainstream competition, but we'd like to see how the Bronco stacks up to another hotly anticipated returning nameplate: the Land Rover Defender. Not to leave its little sibling in the cold, I decided to browse Land Rover's lineup and see what might be a suitable counterpoint to the Bronco Sport. For better or worse, I found an almost-perfect fit in the Range Rover Evoque. So, how do these new American 4x4s compare to the Old Country's more-expensive alternatives? Let's dig in, starting with the big boys. As you might expect from the Bronco's robust credentials, it holds its own here against the more-expensive Brit. The Defender's higher price point brings along a good bit of power advantage with both engines, but that's to be expected. The Defender also has that trick adjustable-height suspension that the Bronco lacks, giving it an edge in practicality, and it can also tow quite a bit more. On the flip side, there are quite a few advantages to going with the Ford, including a greater number of choices in terms of powertrain. The available manual transmission on four-cylinder Broncos is a nice bonus, for instance, as is the option of getting either the base 2.3-liter or the optional 2.7-liter engine with either wheelbase. The Defender is a bit more restrictive in this regard offering only the inline-six on the short-wheelbase model. As an added bonus, the Bronco is a convertible. That may not necessarily be a "plus" for all shoppers, but it's certainly an added bit of versatility (and potential appeal) the Defender lacks. And of course, the Bronco can be had for as little as $30,000, whereas the Land Rover starts at $50,000. Now, on to the less-rugged siblings. The specs here are actually a little tighter in most respects, but the powertrain story is almost identical. The Evoque checks in where the Bronco Sport tops out, and the Range Rover gets an optional high-output variant of the 2.0-liter turbocharged four.
Hot sales have Detroit automakers shortening summer shutdowns
Tue, 08 Jul 2014Back in May, there was speculation that the Detroit Three automakers would maintain or perhaps even extend their traditional summer shutdowns, mostly due to a bitingly cold winter that saw below-freezing temperatures infiltrate the southernmost reaches of the US, putting a chill on auto sales. Now, though, the numbers are in, and thanks to some promising sales figures, it looks like some domestic line workers are going to be working clear through July, in some cases.
According to Automotive News, Ford has slashed its traditional two-week hiatus for factory workers in half at four of its plants, while both Chrysler and General Motors will keep factories running nonstop (two plants in Chrysler's case and a third of GM's factories).
This is, as we said, thanks to some positive numbers. Chief among those is the Seasonal Adjusted Annual Rate, which was at an eight-year high of 17 million units. Individual figures were less promising. GM, embroiled in its recall scandal, still saw a one-percent increase while Ford dropped six percent in year-over-year sales. Chrysler was the big winner, though, with a nine-percent jump in June.
Sunday Drive: Volvo hits a crossover home run, and people still love sports cars
Sun, Sep 24 2017Looking back at the week that just was clearly tells us at least three things. First, crossovers don't have to be boring. Second, people still love sports cars, from the attainable (Audi TT RS) to the fanciful (Mercedes-AMG GT C). And finally, the traditional German trio of premium luxury brands had better not rest on their laurels, because credible challengers are coming in from every direction. The biggest reveal of the week, at least judging by the interest of Autoblog readers, was the Volvo XC40. Not only is the little 'ute a looker, it introduces some innovative new buying/leasing schemes designed to appeal to an audience accustomed to trading in and trading up every couple of years. Think of Volvo's flat-fee lease as you would a smartphone contract, and you'll be on the right track. Genesis looks to have a hit on its hands in the form of the G70 sport sedan. We took a Korean-spec model for a spin and found a lot to like about the upstart contender. We can't wait to sample one here in the United States to see how it stacks up against the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. In other news, we're still really excited to see a production Ford Ranger Raptor. But if you just can't wait for the official reveal — it's OK, neither can we — take a look at the renderings in our post down below. As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry.
