Up for sale is a 1991 Ford Mustang Lx Coupe. This car started life as a 4 cylinder and has been converted to the street/strip car you see today. I am going to be highlighting this car though three main paragraphs. Exterior,Interior and lastly Drivetrain. If I leave something out please ask questions. Message me anytime.
Exterior: This car is a factory silver car. It has the original paint with the exception of the rear driver's quarter panel. There is some clear coat flaking off that area and is pictured. The car cleans up well but does have some wear and tear to be expected for the year model. Im going to try and pictured everything. The car sits on new weld wheels. 15x3 fronts with new 165s. 15x10 rears with M/T Drag Radials. The car also host new smoked lights and a nice cervinis hood.
Interior: This car has some of the nicest black cloth interior I have every laid my eyes on. It also has a 140 MPH Speedo and Leather wrapped steering wheel. It also has a nice Autometer Pro-Comp tach, water temp gauge and oil pressure gauge. The headliner and carpet are still very clean. The car has the original radio. The heat works but note the car no longer has air condition.
Drivetrain: There has been quite a bit of money spent in this area. The engine is a fresh rebuilt 89 Model 302 with E7 heads. It has a E303 cam. It has a Trick Flow Upper and lower Intake manifold. For fuel purposes it has a new gas tank, professional products fuel rails with A/N fittings, Aeromotive 340 Fuel Pump. The battery has been located to the trunk,it sits in a Taylor box and has a remote kill switch. The transmission in the car is a New Tremec 600. It has a quick time blow proof bell housing, spec 1 clutch, aluminum driveshaft, and hurst shifter. The front end is a UPR Tubular K Member and Control Arms. It has QA 1 coil overs, caster adjustments,sn95 spindles/brakes,Flaming river rack, etc. The rear end is 8.8 Narrowed 2 inches with strange 31 spline axles,4.10 gear, strange studs, Carbon Trac loc, Solid Bushings, etc. Exhaust gasses are spent with a set of Mac long tube headers,Mac H-pipe, and 2.5 inch Flowmasters dumped. It sounds awesome! It runs and drives out nice and tight. Never runs hot due to an electric fan and always keeps great oil psi.
In closing: This is a cool turn key cruiser car. It turns heads everywhere. It isn't perfect but presents very well. It has a clean title and perfect Autocheck history report. I am unsure of the miles due to the age of the car and cluster swap. I posted what is showing. The title will be filled as having exempt miles due to the age. As always it is being sold as is/where is. If I left something out please ask. If you are a serious buyer I will give you my contact number.

A hybrid and electric Corvette, plus we drive the Ioniq 5 | Autoblog Podcast #728
Fri, May 6 2022In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. Zac drove the electric 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5, and Greg drove the fire-breathing 2022 Maserati Levante Trofeo. The two dive deep into the relatively heavy news week by starting off with a discussion about the upcoming hybrid Corvette before chatting about what the electric Corvette might be like. They have a chat about the possibility of Porsche and Audi officially joining the Formula 1 field. Then, Greg and Zac get into some quick-hitting news to round out the segment by dissecting the updated Kia Soul (now without a turbo), the 30th Anniversary Edition Land Rover Defender and the new CEO at Aston Martin. Following the news and drive reviews, they rope in Senior Editor, Green John Beltz Snyder to give them a quick download of what went down at the first drive for the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning. Finally, they reach into the mailbag and answer some questions from someone who is less than pleased about infotainment systems in some new cars. And lastly, the gang hears back from someone they helped out in a prior Spend My Money segment on the podcast. Send us your questions for the Mailbag and Spend My Money at: Podcast@Autoblog.com. UK auto magazine says this is the best car commercial of all time [w/videos]
Thu, 20 Dec 2012There have been many great car commercials over the years, but is it possible to define the best? Well, Ad Week recently took a crack at it by rating the top commercials of the year by looking at their view counts on YouTube, but Auto Express took a more democratic approach by putting the decision to a vote. Just after Thanksgiving, Auto Express came up with a list of the 20 popular commercials, and it tasked its readers with choosing the winner for the best car ad of all time. The winner? Honda's 2003 commercial for its then-new European Accord titled "The Cog."
While the ad never aired in the US, most car people have surely seen the impressive Rube Goldberg-style spot. In fact, the only commercial on this list that we saw on US television was the Volkswagen ad "The Force," but many of the others have become viral videos, including transforming and dancing Citroën C4. Of the 19 other commercials that vied for the title of best ad of all time, only the Ford Puma "Steve McQueen" commercial gave Honda a run for its advertising money.
Scroll down to watch Auto Express' top five commercial in order and to check out a press release, then let us know some of your favorite car commercials in Comments.
Ken Block hoons his Ford F-150 RaptorTrax on the slopes
Wed, 08 Oct 2014Ken Block drives Fords. Hoons the heck out of 'em, actually. Mostly Fiestas, but also the occasional Focus or Mustang. But earlier this year, the Gymkhana guru revealed his baddest Ford yet: an F-150 SVT Raptor on tracks. And true to form, here he is putting it to the test in the latest video from Monster Energy and Hoonigan Racing.
Filmed at Baldface Lodge in Nelson, BC, the video pairs Block up with snowboarders Zak Hale and Ethan Deiss for some deep-powder action. You'll want to watch the video for yourself, but the bottom line is that the RaptorTrax beats the heck out of waiting on line for the ski lift. It's enough to make us start to look forward to winter... almost.
