1991 Mustang GT Convertible, In good condition, no rust at all, a few light scratches on both sides, but they rub out good, not very noticeable after rubbed out,newer paint, cowl hood, has 5 lug conversion with 4 wheel disc brakes and has rack and pinion steering. The car also has Kumho tires with Kongo rims both in good shape. The car runs good and sounds great. It has a 302 with a Ford F303 cam, GT40 heads, trick flow intake, BBK Cold air intake and BBK headers and has good exhaust, like I said it sounds great,aluminum radiator, automatic transmisson with B&M shifter. The interior is in decent shape. It has a crack on the center counsel, a nice JVC radio and a dvd player with remote. The convertible top looks good, but looks like somebody tried to fix a rip in it on the right side and made it worse. There is alot more things done with the engine, i had a list of things when I bought it and have lost the list of everything done to it. This is just a listing of what I remember. Its a nice car, ready to drive, nothing major needs done to it, maybe besides the top and a little interior work. and the speedometer works off and on. but all in all its a sharp car.

2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost already hitting 12-second quarters

The arrival of a new Ford Mustang means many things to many people, but not least of them is drag racers. The pony car has always been a mainstay of the drag strip, and the Ford Racing team aims to carry that reputation forward with this latest generation. So it cooked up a few basic modifications on three new 'Stangs and headed to the strips at US 131 and Milan Dragway to see what they could coax out of 'em.
Impressively, the 5.0-liter V8 Mustang GT with a few modifications (but no forced induction) managed to clock a quarter-mile time of 11.77 seconds. Another Mustang GT fitted with a supercharger clocked a blistering 10.97 seconds. But just as intriguing was the modified EcoBoost model that, with only four cylinders and 2.3 liters of displacement, still passed the gates in just 12.56 seconds - nearly half a second better than expected. This with modification limited to a new subframe, half-shaft, drive shaft loops, exhaust, engine calibration, slicks, roll cage and bucket seat. Well done, boys.

How Ford made its 2015 Ford Mustang safer for toupee wearers [w/video]

Ford is ready to tell the story of its 2015 Mustang Convertible, the can't-miss bits being the easier, quicker and quieter roof operation, a more robust roof build for a coupe-like cabin noise, more trunk space, better visibility and reduced in-cabin buffeting. The top release system has been completely redesigned with a single, center-mounted latch on the windshield frame instead of the dual latches of before. The driver can now release the roof without having to lean over into the passenger space, after which the top goes down fully automatically with the press of a button. Ford doesn't say how long it takes to stow, but it's apparently done in half as much time as before, so figure around 8 seconds.
The roof uses a five-bow structure, with the fabric outer and full inner headliner sandwiching ten millimeters of insulation. Detailing work on the top has eliminated "unsightly folds" in the corners when the roof is up and made it more compact when down; its Z-fold assembly is 6.7 inches lower than before at its highest point when put down. Ford says the new electric drive internals make less noise when in operation, and the fully-finished droptop look is achieved with snap-in caps that flank the rear seating and stow in the trunk when not in use (the outgoing Mustang's top was higher and the front when folded and always looked like it was catching air and creating drag).
The compact roof and newly independent rear suspension setup in back means liberated trunk space, 11.4 cubic feet ready to swallow golf bags and tourist swag.
