1990 Ford Mustang GT (have original window sticker as well as books & receipts)

Oxford white paint shows well

Titanium Cloth  interior is excellent also

I am the 3rd owner of the very clean 1990 Ford Mustang, I bought the car from a very good friend who has cared for it since 1995. He bought it from the local ford dealer completely stock. He then

transformed it into what you see here today. (Original selling Dealer - Blanding Ford in Jacksonville Florida)

The ground effects & rear bumper are original equipment bought from Ford (all receipts) - Cobra tail lights- Wing is from Cervini & I believe the grill insert is as well. The wheels are also original 93 cobra

wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot sport tires.

The car has never been in any accidents, I hold a clean Florida title in hand. The car has always been garage kept, the paint is shines & shows very well for the age.

The interior is all original & shows well also (ash tray door still works) It does have some white gauge faces installed.

I tried selling one of my other fox bodies last week on here & neither buyer followed through. I am only listing the car one time. If it doesn't sell, I will keep it. This is not a distress sale. I am only selling the car because I have a Pristine Competition Orange 04 Cobra. I do not have enough storage to keep the car.

The car is very very nice for the age, it is 23yrs old so please do not expect a new car.

How the Ford Shelby Mustang came to be

Fri, 20 Sep 2013

Even as rumors swirl that the next-generation of high-performance Ford Mustang will drop the Shelby name, Ford has released a short video telling how the legend of the Shelby Mustang came to be. In its latest installment of its video series entitled Mustang Countdown, Ford dug up some footage from Carroll Shelby to give a little insight into how this automotive icon was created.
While it's definitely interesting to hear the late legend tell the story in his own words (including numerous references to the 1964 Mustang as a "secretary's car"), it's also pretty funny learning exactly how the Shelby GT350 got its name in the first place - a name allegedly making a comeback as the replacement for the current Shelby GT500. As development work continues on the 2015 Ford Mustang, the Shelby video posted below shows that the automaker is always looking at its past - even as it looks ahead to the future.

How Ford made its 2015 Ford Mustang safer for toupee wearers [w/video]

Fri, 28 Feb 2014

Ford is ready to tell the story of its 2015 Mustang Convertible, the can't-miss bits being the easier, quicker and quieter roof operation, a more robust roof build for a coupe-like cabin noise, more trunk space, better visibility and reduced in-cabin buffeting. The top release system has been completely redesigned with a single, center-mounted latch on the windshield frame instead of the dual latches of before. The driver can now release the roof without having to lean over into the passenger space, after which the top goes down fully automatically with the press of a button. Ford doesn't say how long it takes to stow, but it's apparently done in half as much time as before, so figure around 8 seconds.
The roof uses a five-bow structure, with the fabric outer and full inner headliner sandwiching ten millimeters of insulation. Detailing work on the top has eliminated "unsightly folds" in the corners when the roof is up and made it more compact when down; its Z-fold assembly is 6.7 inches lower than before at its highest point when put down. Ford says the new electric drive internals make less noise when in operation, and the fully-finished droptop look is achieved with snap-in caps that flank the rear seating and stow in the trunk when not in use (the outgoing Mustang's top was higher and the front when folded and always looked like it was catching air and creating drag).
The compact roof and newly independent rear suspension setup in back means liberated trunk space, 11.4 cubic feet ready to swallow golf bags and tourist swag. You can read a lot more about it in the press release below, check it out in the short video of running footage and learn about the aerodynamic improvements made to the entire Mustang lineup that decrease drag and increase fuel economy.

Evo grabs Ford's Fiesta R5 rally car by the scruff

Wed, 04 Sep 2013

Evo and host Henry Catchpole were thinking of excuses reasons to borrow the bonkers Ford Fiesta R5 rally car for a day or two, when it struck them: the car is street legal. With access to the R5, some of the world's most beautiful driving roads in the English Lake Country nearby, and a handy video crewing hanging around, the plan seemed to write itself.
Based on the resulting video, it was a good plan. Without spoiling the video for you - something we can't really do in text as the best part is listening to the rally car run - Catchpole finds the Fiesta to be sublimely quick and massively satisfying. Even taking the car for a spin on a pseudo rally stage, after leaving the English countryside, does nothing but add to his assessment of the beastly little Ford. Scroll on below to see for yourself, and enjoy the ride.
