This vehicle runs and drives well, but needs work. As noted in the photos, there is damage on the drivers door, the left front fender, the front of the hood, the rear spoiler, the front parking light and head light lenses. The passenger door handle needs to be replaced but can be opened from the inside. The A/C needs to be recharged and the car needs new shocks. The AM/FM radio does not work. On the bright side, I have a brand new unopened Sony AM/FM radio/cassette which is included in the purchase price that will fit the vehicle. The tail lamp lenses are only 2 years old & the interior is in good condition. The power windows and power door locks operate.

Ford doubling 1.0L EcoBoost engine production
Fri, 06 Sep 2013Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine hasn't been around that long, but it sounds like the engine is getting to be fairly popular in the automaker's global car lineup. The Detroit News is reporting that Ford has add a second shift that will allow its German engine plant to double daily output from 500 engines to 1,000.
The increased capacity is part of a plan to sell more than 300,000 vehicles a year with this engine in Europe by 2015. Europe is currently the only market where the smallest of the EcoBoost engines is offered (including in the Focus pictured above), but US-spec Fiesta models will be getting this mill for 2014.
Three-cylinder engines are expected to continue to grow in popularity in coming years with the report indicating that global production of these engines will double by 2018 to 9.8 million units. General Motors, BMW and Mitsubishi are all expected to introduce three-cylinder engines in the near term, as well.
Bill Ford wins National Pond Hockey Championship with employees

This past weekend, Bill Ford, executive chairman of Ford Motor Company, and a group of employees trekked up to Eagle River, WI for a few games of pond hockey. Team Ford took part in the 2014 Labatt Blue/USA Pond Hockey Championship, capturing its fifth title in the 50+ Tier 1 Division.
"It feels great to win," Ford, who plays on the team alongside other Ford employees, told the USA Hockey website. "It was fun to play [River Valley Pioneers] because they're great guys and we play them every year. We finally beat them, which we were due. It was a very clean game, a tough game."
The FoMoCo team managed to score seven goals to River Valley's two, and went undefeated in all five of its games during the tourney. Take a look below for the official press release on Team Ford's win.
