1989 ford mustang 45xxx original miles. 3rd Owner
The Original owner purchased it new from mccarval ford on Long Island. It stayed in his family until I purchased it.
I'm selling this because I don't have time for it. I had it since April 2010 and put on approx 1300 miles.
Mint condition, looks like it was in a time capsule. Always garaged. No Rust. Adult owned.
Sn 95Cobra brake 5 lug conversion (same as m2300k) brand new everything front and rear. SS brake lines. 13" Brembo Rotors in front, 11.65 Ford racing rotors in back.
Ford motorsport cobra r m179 wheels all around(impossible to find these wheels anymore 6.42 back space, and 36mm offset). Kumho ecsta tires 255/40-17 LESS THEN 300 MILES ON THEM. I DONT HAVE CENTER CAPS FOR WHEELS.
Adjustable Koni yellows, h&r race springs, maximum motorsports, strut tower brace, lower chassis brace, and full length welded in subframes.
Ford motorsport SS shorty headers, bassani off road SS x-pipe, flowmaster SS american thunder catback. Ford motorsport spark plug wires. Steeda tri ax shifter.
Interior is Red with the nice seats. Its just as clean as outside. Power windows, door locks, seats, cold AC, original stereo.
Brand new paint job white with clear, done by Gino owner at Huntington collision on railroad st. Only reason for painting is that the roof, hood, and hatch and sun fading. Also any dings were taken out, and fenders cut and rolled to perfection.
All after market parts were installed within last two years. Car was driven less then 2000 miles since I owned it. APPROX 300 after Mods. No time for car, somebody else's turn to enjoy. This car takes up all room in my garage and I cant justify keeping it anymore.
Most original parts are included with the car. Headers, 4 cat H-pipe, catback, brakes, axles, Etc... If you want to convert it back to stock it's all bolt on and could be done easily.
If you like the car feel free to come take a look at. This was the way I always wanted my fox body to look. I spent a lot of time and money on this car. My job and other obligations don't give me any free time at this point in my life. This car is literally a statue in my garage. Come buy a mustang that is set up to handle big power, it's very tight and stops like a beast. Great Car all around.

Ward's announces 10 Best Engines 2015
Wed, Dec 10 2014Ward's Auto has named its 10 Best Engines for 2015, covering a range of powerplants from fuel-sippers to fire-breathers. As with past years, forced-induction reigns supreme, with seven of the ten engines featuring a turbo or supercharger. This year is slightly different, though, as two of the seven blown engines are turbocharged three-cylinder mills, from the Ford Fiesta and Mini Cooper. They're joined by the 2.0-liter turbo four from the Volvo S60, the 1.8-liter turbo four from the Volkswagen Jetta and the 2.0-liter boxer from the Subaru WRX. BMW and Chrysler were the only marques to be named to this year's list twice, with the electric motor from the i3 joining the Mini's three-pot, and the 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 in the Ram 1500 and Jeep Grand Cherokee repping the diesel crowd, alongside a certain supercharged monster. Hyundai also took a prize with a zero-emissions powertrain, with the Tucson FCV's 100-kilowatt fuel cell making the list (apparently Ward's is quite generous with what it deems an "engine"). Rounding out the list are two Autoblog favorites, each displacing 6.2 liters, but producing their power very differently. On the one hand, Chevrolet's overhead-valve, 455-horsepower V8, found in the Corvette, makes its power the old fashioned way. And in the other corner, we have one of the most exciting engines of the year – the 707-hp, 6.2-liter, supercharged Hellcat V8, featured so prominently in the Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcat. "We spend a lot of time reading the powertrain tea leaves throughout the auto industry, and we're proud that this year's list is a microcosm of all the latest innovation coming from automakers," said Ward's Editor-in-Chief Drew Winter in a statement. "It's not just a list for enthusiasts or for environmentalists," he says. "There's something for every vehicle shopper and every budget. All the powertrains on this list deliver a first-rate driving experience," Winter added. Scroll down for the full list from Ward's, and let us know which engines you think belong and which should have been included in this year's rankings. 2015 Ford Mustang Convertible makes inappropriate appearance in Detroit [w/video]
Tue, 14 Jan 2014With the polar vortex fresh in the minds of Autoblog's Detroit-based staff, we're finding it funny that any manufacturer would choose January in the Motor City to show off a new and highly anticipated convertible to the general media and public for the first time. But Ford has done just that, giving us our first real peek at the new Mustang Convertible in the flesh.
The new Mustang Convertible is more or less unchanged from the standard coupe, with some subtle styling tweaks to accommodate the retractable soft top. Engine and transmission choices are identical to the hardtop, although we should expect slightly lower performance due to the hardware for the roof. Like the coupe, neither prices nor performance metrics have been published yet for the convertible.

Ford invests $682 million in Edge-producing Canadian facility
Sun, 22 Sep 2013Ford announced that it's investing $682 million in its Oakville assembly plant in Ontario, Canada, to make it a global manufacturing plant, which the automaker also says secures 2,800 jobs there. Including this injection of cash, Ford has invested over $2 billion in Canada in the last decade, starting with nearly $1 billion for Oakville in 2004, and over $570 million for its Essex Engine Plant in 2010.
The move to make Oakville a global manufacturer of Ford vehicles means, "If consumers suddenly shift their buying habits, we can seamlessly change our production mix without having to idle a plant," says Joe Hinrichs, Ford's president of the Americas.
Ford says that the latest investment will help it meet North American demand for the Oakville-produced Edge crossover, which is on track this year to beat 2007's US sales record of 130,000 Edges. The Ford Flex and Lincoln MKX and MKT are also manufactured at the plant.
