1986 Ford Mustang SVO, 34,150 adult-driven miles, 2nd owner car that was bought new in 1986 in Memphis at Lewis Ford by close friend. We bought the car from him in 1998. It was brought back to daily driver status in 2000 including new tires, new a/c conversion to R134, new CD player (still have original cassette deck). All exterior and interior is in very good shape, car has won many local Mustang shows. Car is very reliable and driven at least once a week by me or my father. No signs of wear on shifter boot or steering wheel, upper dash is in very good condition. I've tried to include as many pics as possible, please feel free to call Collin at 901-301-6743 with questions or email crc38141@gmail.com. I'm always happy to talk about this car and I hate to see it go but we have other projects.
This car currently has a Borla cat-back exhaust on it but I have all original parts. It could easily be put back to stock at a local muffler shop.
Thanks for looking!

Update 8/22/13 - I just added a current odometer shot and also I wanted to note that the car now has tinted windows and the correct SVO badges on the front fenders. I have pics of this but can't add anymore pics to my listing.
I'll be glad to email them to you and any other pics you might like.
Collin

Driving the Ford Explorer ST and Volvo V60 Cross Country | Autoblog Podcast #613
Fri, Feb 7 2020In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by West Coast Editor James Riswick. First they talk about driving the Volvo V60 Cross Country and Ford Explorer ST, with some thoughts about the Subaru Outback and Super Bowl commercials as well. Then they dive into the mailbag, answering questions and following up on the outcomes of previous "Spend My Money" segments. Finally they wrap things off with a new "Spend My Money," in which they help a listener pick a new car that will accommodate a new, tiny family member without sucking all the fun out of driving. This 1969 Ford F-100 has a Cadillac CTS-V engine lurking underhood
Fri, Jan 30 2015Something always feels just a little taboo when someone builds a custom and then slots in a powertrain from a rival automaker. That's exactly the case with this modded 1969 Ford F-100 boasting a highly tuned LSA supercharged V8 like from the second-gen Cadillac CTS-V. However, with a claimed 800 horsepower on tap thanks in part to running an estimated 20 pounds of boost, it's easy to get over any bad feelings. Built by Tommy Pike Customs in South Carolina, the truck tries to keep the exterior looking somewhat stock. Although, the jade green and satin gold paint, Quaker State logo, lowered suspension and black wheels immediately suggest something is up. Once the F-100 starts up with its menacing growl, absolutely any doubts of this beast being unaltered are immediately gone. Not so obvious are some tweaks to actually help put all that power down, including disc brakes and independent suspension setups at the front and rear. The video gives some glimpses at a few of Pike's other creations, but the real star here is definitely his mean, green Ford.
Ford wants to double hybrid offerings by 2020
Wed, Jan 15 2014The Blue Oval is looking for folks on the other side of this Big Old Sphere to get on board with its hybrid offerings. Ford executive Raj Nair, speaking at the Detroit Auto Show this week, said the US automaker wants to double the number of hybrids models it offers by the end of the decade, Reuters reports. Details of what that actually means is anyone's guess, as it was unclear how many of those models would be in the US and how many would be overseas. That said, Nair did say that prospective customers in regions such as China and Europe would drive the expansion of offerings. Ford got off to a great start in the US last year on its hybrid sales, but then tailed off towards the end of 2013. Ford more than doubled its green-car sales in 2013 to almost 88,000 units. In that number were more than 37,000 Fusion Hybrids and more than 28,000 C-Max Hybrids sold domestically. The company also sold almost 7,500 Lincoln MKZ Hybrids. Ford's green-car totals for 2013 were up fivefold at the mid-year point, hinting that Ford's hybrid sales plateaued, at least temporarily, in recent months.
