UP FOR AUCTION, A TRUE, 2 OWNER, LOW MILAGE (44,950 ACTUAL MILES ) BORN JALAPENO RED WITH CANYON RED AND WHITE LEATHER INTERIOR AND NICE WHITE TOP 1986 MUSTANG GT CONVERTIBLE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THIS WAS A SOUTH CAROLINA CAR, SO NO RUST ANYWHERE IN OR ON THE CAR. IT WEARS IT'S ORIGINAL PAINT AND UP UNTIL SEPT 2012 IT HAD THE ORIGINAL TIRES ON IT. PAINT IS GREAT EXCEPT THE PLASTIC NOSE IS FADED, NEW OWNER CAN PAINT IT IF THEY WANT TO, I WON'T BECAUSE THEY ARE ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE . EVERYTHING ON THE CAR WORKS LIKE IT SHOULD AND THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES LIKE A DREAM, IT EVEN HAS THE ORIGINAL MARCHAL FOG LIGHTS AND COVERS ON IT AND THEY ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION. THE DASH HAS SOME CRACKING AS DO THE LEATHER SEATS DUE TO BEING IN THE SUN MOST OF IT'S LIFE, THESE ARE EASY FIXES AND WOULD MAKE THE CAR ALMOST PERFECT. MOST OF YOU WILL KNOW THIS BUT 86 WAS THE LAST OF THE 4 EYED MUSTANGS AND THE FIRST YEAR FOR FUEL INJECTION, THE 8.8 POSI REAR END AND THE ONLY YEAR THAT CAME LOWERED AND WITH UNDERDRIVE PULLEYS FROM THE FACTORY. THIS CAR WAS SPECIAL ORDERED FROM THE FACTORY ( THE REAR WHEEL ABS ) AND CAME WITH EVERY OPTION THAT COULD BE ORDERED. THIS IS A VERY RARE CAR, AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN ADULT OWNED. THE ORIGINAL SPEEDO WAS REPLACED IN JUNE OF 2010 WITH A USED SPEEDO SHOWING I02,994 MILES AS THE ORIGINAL QUIT SHOWING THE MPH AT 41XXX MILES AND WOULD NOT PASS STATE INSPECTION. YOU CAN DRIVE THIS CAR FROM HERE TO ANYWHERE YOU WANT WITH NO ISSUES AND IT IS EASY ON GAS IF YOU KEEP YOUR FOOT OUT OF IT, 18-20 MPG CITY, 21-23 CITY/HIGHWAY COMBINED, 25 PLUS MPG ON HIGHWAY IF YOU USE COMMON SENSE, I GOT A LITTLE OVER 26 MPG DRIVING FROM ASHLAND VA TO VA BEACH VA AT 75 + MPH. Ford looks to space robots to improve car-to-car communications [w/video]

Ford has partnered with St. Petersburg Polytechnic University for three years to research various kinds of connected vehicle communications. The university tie-up is part of its study of space robots, NASA systems created to enable space-to-Earth communication, and the university's own development of systems that enable communication between the International Space State and Earth.
The objective is for Ford to engineer layers of robust networks and redundancy systems that will allow your car to speak to other cars, to emergency vehicles, to infrastructure like traffic lights and buildings, and to the cloud. Benefits would come in just about every area of transit, from avoiding accidents, to getting medical workers to an accident more quickly, to improving the flow of traffic during rush hour.

BMW V8-powered Ford Model A is the definition of Hot Rod

Today, hotrodding has a pretty staid definition. Take one classic American car, add one classic American V8, sprinkle with tire smoke and you pretty much have every hot rod to roll out of a shop in the last 40 years. Mike Borroughs knows it wasn't always this way. Once upon a time, getting your bucket to go faster meant grabbing whatever parts were lazing about the yard, bolting them together with a bit of ingenuity and laughing your way down the quarter mile. It's in that spirit that Burroughs built his 1928 Ford Model A.
Rather than turn to the tired flathead or the common Chevrolet small block, Burroughs plucked a 4.0-liter V8 from a 1995 BMW 7 Series. With 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, the engine has no trouble shuffling the old A around town. He had to build a custom chassis to get everything to cooperate, but the result is a 1,500-pound heathen that looks built to harass dry lake beds. You can check it out in the video below. Ranger could compete with the Chevy Colorado and perhaps revive the compact and midsize pickup market for Ford, but the future of Ranger in the US depends a lot on Ford's ongoing negotiations with the UAW. About 2,000 orders for the 2015 Mustang were placed in the UK, tying up production of the pony car until July 2016.
