For auction is a 1985 Ford Mustang GT hatchback. The previous owner swapped the 4 cylinder 5 speed for an older slightly modified 302 backed by a 3 speed automatic that runs and shifts excellent. I bought the vehicle with the intentions to restore and build up because of the great motor and transmission and the overall good vehicle condition but simply do not have the time and money anymore. The car runs and drives great but the charging system needs to be checked over because it doesn't seem to operate as well as it should. I would also recommend that the rear differential should eventually be changed over to a 5 bolt to ensure that it can handle the power of the new V-8. This car was supposed to be a summer car because I cant get out of my steep driveway with anything but 4 wheel drive in winter so I have only driven it a handful of times when I could so that it didn't sit. The exterior looks to have been painted in primer black with minor body work done to the hood as seen in pictures. The interior appears to be in over all ok condition with the exception for openings in dash for speakers and the radio. The mileage stated is what the odometer reads but its only a five digit one and the motor and transmission have been swapped so it is not accurate. I've described this car as well as I can, and I believe it would make a great project or restoration. Please feel free to e-mail for more information.

Vaughn Gittin Jr. takes his dog for a drift
Tue, 09 Sep 2014
Vaughn Gittin Jr. spends a great deal of his workday going sideways, but he's usually alone in the endeavor. For a guy that is clearly a dog lover, we imagine that can get a bit lonely.
That won't be a problem for Gittin in this latest video, which features the racer hanging out with his good pal Brody (a dog) and everyone's favorite hot hatch, the Ford Fiesta ST.
Ford will build Hackmobile out of Transit Connect Wagon
Fri, 27 Dec 2013What you see in the above image is a rendering of the Hackmobile Transit Connect Wagon. What is that? It's a "mobile fabrication and hacking unit" that includes tools for metal- and woodworking, 3D and electronics fabrication, a three-axis CNC machine called "The Fabber," a video projector and screen, an air compressor, an 84x48-inch work surface that folds out like a Murphy bed and oh so much more. When not in use, all of the implements fold neatly into the back of Ford's award-winning van.
But perhaps the more important question is why is that? Because Make Magazine held an Ultimate Maker Vehicle Challenge in conjunction with Ford in which ten teams created were charged with creating "the ultimate Ford Transit Connect Wagon for the do-it-yourself enthusiast." Team Twin Cities Maker won the competition with the Hackmobile, and in addition to winning $10,000, Ford has declared it's actually going to build the thing - which is great, because if they can actually engineer a road-legal Hackmobile Transit Connect Wagon as envisioned, the inevitable A-Team movie reboot might need to think about including it.
Check out the video below for a cheeky walk-through of the Hackmobile, and get all the particulars in the press release below that.
