This 1970 Mustang Convertible Mustang is one of the cleanest Bodies I have seen in a while. I own Mustang Stables (Est 1981) and I deal with Mustangs on a daily Basis. This one was parked behind a friends house in Philly when the mayor went on this cleanup rampage. His car was removed from his property. This car had the metal work all done on it and it was done right. The Car was all done and everything as you see it was done when they took his car. He was in the finishing stages when the city pulled that on him. If your car is taken, you can't go to the sale and get it back, So That is how I got it. It was curious that someone from the city was bidding hard for it. When you do get the car from the city auction, they give you a salvage title.but The car stands for itself and is a stand up car.

Shelby GT500 laps N"urburgring in under 7:40?
Wed, 30 Oct 2013A couple of weeks ago we brought you footage and official times of the new Chevy Camaro Z/28 lapping the Nürburgring. With a 7:37.47 lap time, the Z/28 emerged as the fastest muscle car ever to lap the circuit. But what was missing from that picture was how fast the king of all Mustangs, the Shelby GT500, could manage to lap the Nordschleife.
Ford never released any information or footage of the GT500 on the Nürburgring that we were aware of - that is, until the guys at SVTPerformance.com put in a request for Mustang videos. Among the clips they received was never-seen, in-car footage of the Shelby GT500 lapping the circuit. And boy did it hustle.
Although not quite official, the video seems to show the GT500 lapped the venerated German track in a touch under 7:40. That would make it a tick or two faster than the Camaro ZL1 - but what of the Z/28? By Chevy's quoted time, the Z/28 is still faster than the GT500, but SVTPerformance suggests GM may have fudged the numbers a bit and scrubbed half a second or so off their lap time.
Ford gets colorful with Mustang anniversary infographic
Thu, 24 Oct 2013Preparing to celebrate its 50th birthday, the Ford Mustang has seen a lot of vehicle trends come and go, and this especially goes for paint colors. Using historical production data, Ford has managed to create an infographic dating back to 1967 that breaks down the three top Mustang colors for each year as well as calling out some of the more interesting trends and colors over the years.
Over its five generations, the Mustang has been offered in a seemingly endless rainbow - from Playboy Pink in '67 and color-changing Mystichrome on the 2004 Cobra - but the most popular has always been red, which is the color of choice for 21 percent of all Mustangs ever made. Almost every year since 1967, red has been among the top three colors for the Mustang, but other popular colors have included blue, white, brown and, most recently, black. There are even websites and registries available for people owning certain-color Mustangs.
As the all-new 2015 Mustang gets ready for its debut later this year, there's no telling what kind of exciting and/or wacky colors Ford has in store.
