IT HAS THE ORIGINAL 302 V-8 4-BARREL ENGINE AND C-4 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, POWER STEERING, MANUAL DRUM BRAKES, AND I REPLACED THE AM RADIO WITH A FORD FACTORY AM/FM RADIO. THE CAR WAS REPAINTED WITH THE FACTORY ORIGINAL MEADOWLARK YELLOW COLOR DUPONT BASECOAT CLEARCOAT PAINT IN 2008 AND ALL RUSTED AREAS WERE REPAIRED WITH ALL NEW METAL. THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WERE ALSO REPLACED IN 2008 WITH ALL NEW PARTS: TRIM, BUMPERS, DOOR PANELS, SEATS, CARPET, DASH PANELS, GAUGE LENSES, SHELBY CONSOLE, SHELBY ROLLBAR, ROBIN CONVERTIBLE TOP AND FOLDING REAR WINDOW, ALL THE WEATHERSTRIPPING, WHEEL WELL CHROME, SIDE MARKERS, DECALS,STEWART WARNER GAUGES, SMALL CENTER TACHOMETER TAILLIGHT LENSES AND BEZELS, GAS CAP, SHELBY 10-SPOKE WHEELS, LUGNUTS, AND BF GOODRICH RADIAL T/A'S, FULL EXHAUST, VALVE COVERS, AIR CLEANER, RADIATOR, FAN SHROUD, BATTERY, HEATER CORE, HOSES, BELTS, ALL NEW SHELBY FIBERGLASS PANELS, HOOD, FRONT FASCIA, TRUNK LID, END CAPS, EMBLEMS, WERE ALL TONY BRANDA NEW PARTS AND ALL THE OTHER NEW PARTS WERE FROM TONY BRANDA AND OTHER VARIOUS MUSTANG SUPPLIERS. THE FRONT END SUSPENSION OF THE CAR IS ALL ORIGINAL. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS DONE TO THE MOTOR WAS THAT I REPLACED THE CAST IRON INTAKE MANIFOLD WITH AN ALUMINUM EDELBROCK INTAKE AND IT HAS A 600 HOLLEY WITH ELECTRIC CHOKE. THE CAR RUNS GOOD AND DRIVES FINE AND HAS ONLY BEEN DRIVEN APPROXIMATELY 250 MILES SINCE ALL THE WORK HAS BEEN DONE TO THE CAR. I AM SURE THERE ARE SOME OTHER PARTS THAT WERE ALSO REPLACED WITH ALL NEW PARTS THAT I HAVE FAILED TO MENTION. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANY TRADES. I HAVE TOO MANY VEHICLES ALREADY. THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST.

Watch Ken Block's scary Rally America crash from inside the cockpit
Wed, 19 Feb 2014Ken Block became famous for his series of Gymkhana videos, but he's a real racer in his own right. Block has competed many rounds in the FIA World Rally Championship and also rallied in the 2013 Rally America series. He nearly won that latter title last year - if not for a massive crash in the final event of the season.
Block and his co-driver Alex Gelsomino went into the Lake Superior Performance Rally needing a win to take the championship. However, missing a clump of dirt on the side of the road and one little word in the pace notes was all it took to catapult Block's Fiesta off the road and into a tumbling accident. Block says his initial reaction was anger because the crash came out of nowhere.
For 2014, Block is joining the FIA World Rallycross Championship for at least three rounds. He'll drive a Ford Fiesta for the Hoonigan Racing Division at the Norwegian, French and Turkish events of the 12-round championship. Former Formula One World Champion Jacques Villeneuve will also compete in the series.
Merecedes-Benz EQS, Ford Mustang Mach-E GT and Subaru Forester Wilderness | Autoblog Podcast #702
Fri, Oct 29 2021In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Senior Editor James Riswick. They've been driving some exciting new EVs, like the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT and the Mercedes-Benz EQS. They also discuss driving the new Subaru Forester Wilderness, as well as the perfectly agreeable Toyota Camry XSE Hybrid. James compares four big-name off-roaders — the Ford Bronco, Jeep Wrangler, Toyota 4Runner and Land Rover Defender — based on their ability to accommodate a big load of luggage. Next they reach into the mailbag for comments on the Genesis GV70, as well as a Spend My Money question about replacing a wrecked Subaru Ascent with another three-row SUV. Send us your questions for the Mailbag and Spend My Money at: Podcast@Autoblog.com. 2015 Ford Focus gets more Aston-y [w/video]
Tue, 04 Mar 2014With more and more members of the Ford brand adopting a new familial face, the Focus has been left looking like an odd man out. At the Geneva Auto Show, though, it properly rejoined the family, adopting the now familiar Aston Martin-ish grille that's proliferated throughout the range.
Overall, we're liking the refreshed Focus' look. Aside from the new grille, the headlights have been restyled and now look like elongated versions of the lamps on the Focus ST. Functionally, those headlamps are bi-xenon units, complete with an adaptive front lighting system. Out back, the rear retains the same overall look, which has been smoothed out for 2015.
In the cabin, the second-generation of Ford's much-maligned Sync system makes its debut. Sync 2, as it's called, is supposedly more intuitive than the first-gen system. Ford is promising "one-shot" navigation functions for the system. Saying "I'm hungry," should bring up a list of nearby restaurants. Of course, we'll be reserving final judgment until we can test the new system in person.
