An original Red on Red Mustang with Deluxe Interior

My name is John.  Please call me at 801-680-8447 with any questions

This is a beautifully restored example of 1967 Mustang in remarkable driver condition. It runs great, drives great, looks great, and the attention it gets is extreme!

No Disappointments: This Mustang is a great investment and a fun car to drive and enjoy. From the engine compartment to the trunk and everywhere in between, this is a clean car.

The following will be a description of each area of the car, being as in-depth and accurate as possible. Please keep in mind that this is a classic car that is over 47 years old, and although I will describe everything as best I can, some small items may have been overlooked.

BODY:

As you can see from the photos, this Mustang is absolutely gorgeous.  In 2012, the car painted in the original Candy Apple Red that you see now.  The underside is all original sheet metal, with great frame rails, strong torque boxes and undercarriage.  I would rate it solid driver quality paint and body 8 out of 10.  The Shelby stripes are done in black carbon fiber wrap.

INTERIOR:

  • The Deluxe interior is professionally restored in 2012 with all new soft trim including:

  • Upholstery

  • Dash Pad

  • Door Panels

  • Headliner

  • Carpeting

  • AM FM Radio (not hooked up)

  • Upper and Lower Consoles

All gauges work as they should.  The map lights even work.  The windows roll up and down nicely.

ENGINE / MECHANICS:

The 289 310 HP engine has been runs strong and fast.  There are no fluid leaks, or smoke.    The C4 automatic transmission shifts thru the gears as it should.  the Odometer reads 09454 which has probably turned over.

  • Original Autolite Carb

  • Offenhauser 4 BBL Dual Port Intake Manifold

  • Power Steering

  • Power Disc Brakes in front and Drum Brakes in rear

  • All New “Grab-A-Track” Suspension

  • New Battery

  • “05 Mustang Grill with Halo Lights

This Mustang starts at the flick of the key and runs strong and smooth.  The car tracks straight and brakes straight, has good steering response and a nice ride. The transmission shifts very responsive and smooth. The engine compartment is clean, and detailed. Front disc brakes and rear drum brakes.  Suspension and is firm and responsive to the touch.  The car runs and drives very nice.  Fly in and drive home this mechanically sound automobile.

TRUNK:

The trunk area is very clean, detailed, and looks great. There is not even a hint of rust.  A new trunk mat would finish off the trunk.  No issues here, the pictures of the car speak for themselves.

OVERALL:

The car of course gets lots of looks; it's really what I'd call the perfect collector car: a super desirable 1967 Mustang Coupe that is a super nice driver with a 2012 restoration.  This car is mechanically sound and runs fantastic.  The title is free and clear in my hand.

Ford Mustang hit by Moore' Oklahoma's EF5 tornado lives to do another burnout

Fri, 07 Jun 2013

Oklahoma recently saw the destructive power of an EF5 tornado, but in the aftermath of the devastation, we've also been witness to the incredible resilience of the human spirit. Moore, OK resident Jack Haden survived the storm but found that his 2003 Ford Mustang wasn't quite as lucky. As you can see in the image above, the tornado's 200+ mph winds did quite a number on the car, but while most people would have likely called their insurance company and scrapped the car, Haden had other plans.
After finding the car and seeing that its V6 still fired up, Haden spent a couple hours getting the car, um... roadworthy(?)... by removing the doors and front clip, cutting off the roof and putting on some new wheels and tires. He noticed that driving it around brought some comic relief to an area that needed a reason to laugh and smile. Check out the KSBI TV news report video below showing before and after pictures of the tough 'Stang, as well as a video showing the newly lightweight coupe doing a smoky burnout.

Ford Ranger-based 7-seat SUV spotted testing

Wed, 29 May 2013

Ford looks to be working on a new SUV version of its global Ranger pickup truck. An early prototype of a seven-passenger SUV based on the Ranger has been spotted testing in Australia, and word has it buyers in the region could expect to see the model in showrooms as soon as 2014, where it could sail under the Endeavour or Everest badges. Ford Australia currently sells the Territory SUV, so there's some chance that this model could be a successor to that throne, as well.
Whatever it's called, the long-roof Ranger will feature a shorter wheelbase and more ground clearance than its pickup twin, giving the machine a bit more off-road functionality. (And here we thought we couldn't want the global Ranger any more than we already do.) While this particular vehicle sports a Territory back half grafted onto a Ranger front end, odds are a public reveal of the finished product could occur as soon as the second half of 2014, making it a 2015 model. Head over to Carsguide.com.au for a closer look.

Ringbrothers shows off Coyote-powered 1968 Mercury Cougar

Thu, Feb 25 2021

We'll openly admit that not every SEMA build is our cup of tea. But this? A tastefully resto-modded 1968 Mercury Cougar with a 460-horsepower Ford Mustang V8? Yeah, this is right in our wheelhouse. Sadly, there was no in-pwerson SEMA show in 2020, so we missed out on gems like this one. SEMA or no SEMA, the aftermarket carries on, and co-owners Jim and Mike Ring of Ringbrothers (get it?) saw no reason to let their time and effort go to waste.  When they're not building wild customs (see: 1,100-horsepower 1972 AMC Javelin AMX) or more subtle showcases (such as this Cougar or their 1971 K5 Chevy Blazer build from 2018), the folks at Ringbrothers crank out factory reproduction parts, whether for old-fashioned restoration or modification purposes. While '60s muscle cars are recurring build subjects for the two, the Cougar was the first of its kind they tackled.  Keeping it in the family, Ringbrothers sourced a Ford 5.0-liter "Coyote" V8 and a 10-Speed Automatic (lifted from an F-150 Raptor, incidentally) for the build. They didn't stop with the driveline, of course. The suspension was overhauled with a little help from DSE and a set of HRE Series C1 C103 Forged 3-Piece wheels were thrown over upgraded brakes.  "We put our heart into each car we build, and this Cougar is no exception," Jim said. "The finished product is mild and classy, yet any enthusiast instantly knows it's not stock. I imagine this is what Mercury designers would have come up with if they were building the Cougar today." "While we couldn't bring the car to the SEMA Show, we hope it can be shown to the public soon," Mike said. "We had never done a Cougar before, so this was a fun build. I love working with new shapes and coming up with new ideas." There's plenty to appreciate about this Cougar apart from the mechanicals, too. The finish is Augusta Green Metallic (courtesy of BASF), which was a factory color in 1968. You may know it by another name: Highland Green. There are a few custom exterior touches, but they're quite subtle and styled to be period-correct. The interior was also restored and updated, and it's where you'll find the only thing we're not fond of: that big, fat truck shifter. Gearbox choices notwithstanding, it's a bit of an eyesore. But considering how gorgeous the rest is, we'll give it a pass.  Related Video:
